Chapter 94: Welcome back, Dawn!

a tiny overview because I didn't wanted to write a new chapter for a tiny topic: Victini left the group just a few days ago, because it found a place in the forest full of pokémon and because it wasn't owned by anyone, despite being loved by the group, they just let it go. So Victini is out in the woods again after a fun adventure, BUT it MIGHT come back in the future. MIGHT.

After winning the last badge and earning a secured spot in the Unova League, while still grieving for Carracosta, you and the group managed to find Cynthia!

She told you and your friends about the upcoming Junior Cup and Ash decided to enter. While you were hesitant at first, but believing Absol would gain more experience, you decided to enter too.

Currently, everyone was on the airplane, going to Undella Town in the Eastern Unova, where Cynthia's mansion is at.

Ash, Iris and Cilan sat together behind Arlo, Cynthia and you, respectively, with Spearow, Plusle and Teddiursa on Arlo's lap, watching the outside world.

But the main conversation was going on in between you and Cynthia, with you sobbing as quietly as possible against Cynthia, who wrapped her arms against you and gently rubbed your arm.

"I just never knew it will end up like this, I-I thought I would be able to let Carracosta go and just be happy b-but" you took minute to wipe your tears and breathe before continuing, "It didn't work out..."

"Oh Y/N..." Cynthia felt terribly sad for you. She knew how it feels to be in such a situation as well.

"Y/N," she softly patted your back, "its okay...." she comforted, "if i tell you that i'll try my best to bring back Carracosta, will you be happy?"

Your eyes widened before you wiped your tears, "h-huh? how?"

She smiled, "you wanna know?"

The plane landed on the airport and Ash had already spotted some Staryus nearby.

"There are so many Kanto pokémon here!" Arlo marveled.
"Y/N, you should try catching a new pokémon here" Cilan suggested.
"Hmm I think I should..."
"How many pokémon do you currently have with you?" Cynthia asked.
"Um...let's see...erm...five!"
"Five? I would suggest that you should keep it like that...for a while atleast" she chuckled and left, leaving everyone confused.
"What did she mean by that?" Iris asked.
"No clue." You replied, 'but I wanted to transfer Cinccino back from Professor Oak...'

Cynthia's butler Jervis then showed up with her limo, and drove everyone to her mansion. Meloetta also showed up in the middle of the car ride and went with the group, but disappeared after reaching the mansion for some reasons.

Ash and you walked in the mansion first and started to look at the gorgeous living room, when all of a sudden, you both together felt a tap on the shoulders and in confusion looked at each other before turning back and forth to find who the person was, but then growing impatient, the two of you officially turning around to find DAWN AND BARRY?!

"WOAH?! YOU GUYS ARE HERE?!" You gasped, "Row?!"
"IT'S DAWN AND PIPLUP!" Ash also gasped in shock.
"BARRY AND EMPOLEON TOO!" You said, jumping up and down, "NO WAY THIS IS CRAZY!" You squeaked and immediately hugged the two of them, "I can't believe that you two are here!"

"Awww see Dawn, I knew she misses me" Barry smirked proudly.
"Oh shut up, Barry!" Dawn argued.

You couldn't help but to chuckle.

'oh man, I missed their arguments.'

You pulled away from the hug and wiped a tear.

Ash went and did his signature high five with Dawn as you smiled at them.
