Chapter 91: Cilan's feelings

a/n: this chapter wasn't even supposed to be written, but I just thought abt it and was like, screw ts, it's important.

ALSO I WROTE THIS IN LIKE 3 HRS IM SO PROUD (with many many many breaks, so 1 hour!!!!!)

Cilan's POV ♡

We just got to a small town, like a really small one, with no gyms or anything. Just a few houses, two or three apartments, a mart and a pokémon center.

"Ahh, looks like we made it to a town! Gives me hope!" Ash stretched his arms with a really happy smile, which doesn't fails to light anyone's depressing mood up.

"HUH?! A TOWN?! LET'S GO I'LL BE ABLE TO SLEEP IN A COMFORTABLE BED TODAY!"

I turned around to see the source of the sudden excitement, and it was Y/N, who was a bit behind us, finally caught up and was pushing the bushes to come near us.

She had the biggest smile on her face, probably more than Ash's.

Her face lit up, and for a split second, I couldn't help but to smile at her beauty-wait, wait, what?! No!

"Cilan, are you okay?" Iris asked me, snapping me out of my thoughts.
"Y-yeah, I am! Why do you ask?"
"Cause you just started to shake your head like a fool." She stated.

Was I actually doing that?! Oh gosh, it's so embarassing...

Then from the corner of my eyes, I saw Y/N chuckling at my antics.

She was beautiful...

"Guys can we just hurry up now?! I'm hungry!!!!" Ash started whining and jumping like a kid. It was pretty cute though.

"Chill out! We are healing our pokémon first!" I watched as Arlo with an, 'i'm done with him' expression reminding Ash.
"Oh yeah right..." Ash immediately sulked, causing me to smile a bit. Classic Ash.

Iris immediately started running, followed by Ash and I saw no point in racing, so like Y/N and Arlo, I walked calmly with them.

"Hey, Arlo, can you hold the egg for a bit? I have to check on Victini."
"Sure thing"

Y/N opened her bag and saw Victini sleeping peacefully, as if it knows it's safe and protected. She smiled and rubbed it's head.

"Victini is so cute...aww"

Gently moving Victini aside a bit, Y/N went through her bag's items.

"Okay guys, the thing is, I ran out of potions and antidotes. Can we stop by the mart while Nurse Joy heals our team?"
"Sure, no problem." I replied.
"Can we get a chocobar? Pleasepleasepleaseplease"
"Yes, of course" I replied to him with a smile.

Soon after, we made it to the center and handed our pokéballs, but before we could ask the others if they wanted to come with us to the mart, I saw Ash and Iris falling on two couches with the most tired faces I've ever seen.

"C'mon you guys! Don't just fall asleep like this!" Y/N complained, trying to lift Ash from the couch, but as she couldn't, she tried to push Iris off, but as she failed, she just sulked in between.
