You woke up in the middle of the night at 2 am, feeling the need to drink some water, as your throat was drying.

Reaching out for the glass on the night stand, you saw the glass was empty, so with a sigh, you got up from the bed to fetch a cup of water from downstairs.

You were sharing a room with Dawn and Iris, while Ash, Cilan and Barry were in a separate room and Paul was with Arlo.

Skipping down the stairs, you walked into the kitchen and just when you were drinking water, you heard your name being called from behind, causing you to get scared and choke on the water.

"Woah woah, are you okay?!"
"Barry!" You coughed, "I got scared!" You whisper-shouted, while coughing.
"I'm sorry." He chuckled while apologizing.
"Fine." You sighed, as your cough died down, "Why are you here?"
"I was actually on the roof."
"Eh?? It's 2am! Go to sleep?"

"I will! I did fall asleep while playing cards with the others, but then I woke up and couldn't sleep since then."
"Don't you fall asleep fast? Did something happen? Is there anything which is bothering you? Are you okay?" You asked questions one after the other.

"Woah woah, chill chill! I'm fine! There's nothing bothering me, geez!"
You rolled your eyes, "Yeah okay."
"Do you wanna come to the roof with me?"

You blinked.

'Hmmmmm it's been a long time since I even talked to Barry properly. Should I go? But man I'm so sleepyyyyy, I miss my bed.'

"Finee, let's go, but not for a long time."
"Okay!"

The air sent a chill down your spine the moment you went to the small roof.

Barry had found a way to climb up the shed and go to the roof.

'How is it so cold?!'

"If Cynthia finds out that we're here. She might get mad."
"It's fine. You saved Sinnoh, so use the pass to get us out of trouble."
"Are you being serious...?" You looked at him with a tiring gaze.

"Anyway, Y/N, how have you been?"
"Pretty good! You?"
"Meh, same. Oh! Do you know that I'm searching for a Spiritomb?!"
"A spiritomb? Isn't that quite rare?"
"Yes it is! And dad isn't helping me either!"
"Why not ask Cynthia for help? She has one of her own."
"And? Even if I find one, how will I defeat it?! It doesn't have a single weakness!" He whined like a child in frustration.

You couldn't help but to chuckle. You missed how chaotic Barry was, and even though his energy would tire you and the others, you still liked it.

You pulled your legs together and wrapped your arms around them, before resting your chin on your knees and looked at Barry on your side, who went on and on, as if he was in a rush without being in a rush.

The moonlight fell on your face, making you look pale and calm. Your hair was shining and eyes looked sparkling, while looking at Barry with a small smile.

Suddenly, Barry turned his head to look at you, and to see you looking at him with such an intensity, he froze. Losing his words.

You looked breathtaking under the moonlight like this.

His cheeks turned red, and for the first time, he found it difficult to maintain an eye contact with someone.

"W-why are you staring at me like that?!" He asked, panicking.
"Like what? I was just listening to you?" You tilted your head slightly.
"L-like you're in love with me or something! I've seen many movies and the love interests stare at each other like this!"
