"Nurse Joy, can you heal our pokémon up?"
"Sure, hand them over to Chansey."

Giving the Pachirisu and Larvesta's pokéballs up, you and Dawn went to sit on the couch.

While passing by the entrance, you heard two familiar voices coming from near the phone booth and you stood there trying to figure out if you were hearing things right or not.

'Am I hearing...PAUL AND TRIP TALKING?!' "Uhhh Dawn, I'll be right back."
"Huh? Where are you going?" Too late, you were GONE.

Hiding behind a couch, you secretly looked at what was going on.

Trip was indeed talking to Paul, but it was impossible to hear them properly.

While Paul was replying to Trip calmly, Trip was first angrily saying something before looking disappointed and in denial.

'What even is going on?'

Random trainers gave you a weird look as they walked past you.

'I'm probably embarassing myself, I should...just leave...' you crawled till you reached the room's exit before rushing back to Dawn.

After collecting the pokéballs, while returning back to the group, you bumped into Trip.

Sensing danger, Dawn just escaped the place, leaving you there alone with Trip.

'THIS DAWN....' "Oh hi Trip...I suppose you're leaving?" 'Should I ask why he was talking to Paul?'
"Leaving? No, I'm not. I'm going to stay and watch the finals."
"Oh! You will? That's new..." With nothing else to say, you nervously decided to bid him goodbye, "Uh alright then, I gotta-"
"Hey Y/N?"
"Huh?"
"Uh- nevermind..."
"You good?

Ash was heading out of the center to go out on a walk with Pikachu when he noticed Trip standing so close to you and talking.

Now, he didn't know if Trip liked you or not, but he clearly didn't like the way he was standing so close to you. Plus, he was a mean rival of his and yours.

Scrunching up his face, Ash made his way to the two of you.

"Hey Trip, what's going on here?"

Trip was about to reply to you, when Ash's arrival stopped him and he looked frustrated.

Wanting to just lay back down in your bed, you quickly took this opportunity to escape.

"Uh you two talk, I'll go talk to Dawn about the contest, bye!"
"Wait..." Trip couldn't stop you from going, and turned to Ash in anger, "Great, now you've ruined the rest of my day too. Just leave me alone." He rudely stated and left.
"Huh?" Ash tilted his head in confusion, "what's his problem?" "Pi Pikachu"

You crashed into the girls room and were laying down on your bed, when someone knocked on the door.

"C'mon in!" You said, and the door opened, revealing Barry.
"Oh hey Barry!"
"Heyy Y/N!"
"Do you want something?"
"Do I always need something to see you?" He pouted.
"Ah no, of course not! I just assumed you needed something...anyway what's up?"
"Nothing much. By the way, Cynthia just informed us that we're leaving tomorrow..."
