Chapter 86: Fixing things with Ash

With a self-satisfied smile on your face, and a trophy on it's way to your room's shelf, you stepped down the airport's stairs, back on Unova's land.

Yesterday before flight, you called Cilan──not wanting to call Ash after the argument you had before leaving──to know about their location, and learnt that they're still stuck in Nimbasa City as they got into a lotta drama on the way to the city, and after Ash won the badge, they found out that the bridge to Driftveil was under construction, so they'll be stuck there for a while and you can still win a badge without feeling guilty about making them wait for your gym challenge to get over.

The duo told you two to meet up in the center, so that's where you went with Arlo.

Cilan and Iris were waiting outside the building, and they spotted you quickly.

"Y/N! Arlo! Over here, Woohoo!!" Iris waved and jumped in excitement.
"Iris! Cilan!" You grinned and rushed towards the two.
"Congratulations on winning the race!" Iris shouted and jumped on you, tackling you on the ground with a hug, scaring Cilan and Arlo.
"Thank you! B-but iris! I can't b-breath!"
"Something's never change" Cilan sweatdropped with a tired smile.
"Guess not" Arlo agreed, "row", "where's Ash?" He asked
"He's inside, in a call with his mom" Cilan responded, "Y/N, do you wanna battle the gym today, or shall w-"
"Of course today! The sooner the better, don't you think?" You said, jumping back on your toes.
Cilan chuckled, "Should've known. But we have to wait for Ash first"

You looked at Cilan with a scowl, "oh" you mumbled.
Cilan looked at you with a sigh, "don't you think that you two should sort things out like two 'mature' people?" He asked
"He started all these, not me. I tried to resolve things, he didn't reciprocate, so what am I supposed to do?"
Iris groaned, "Ash is such a little kid"
"Did you two ask Ash anything about why he is angry on Y/N after we left?"
"We did, but he ignored us, and we didn't wanted to start a fight, cause a lot of things happened after you left, like we told you last night" Iris replied.

You and Arlo sighed in unison, and that's when the door to the center opened, revealing Ash and Pikachu stepping out.

"Hey Ash, over here!" Iris waved, catching the two's attention.

"Pikachaa!" Pikachu smiled after seeing you and immediately jumped from Ash's and dashed to tackle you.
"Woah- calm down-" you said before falling on the ground once again, but burst8 out laughing this time, "awe Pikachu, I missed you too!" You said, hugging the tiny mouse.

Ash startled after seeing you and Pikachu's behaviour and his expression softened A LOT.

Maybe he missed you.

You slowly stood back up and Pikachu also jumped onto Arlo to show him love too.

"So everyone's back together again" Cilan smiled.
"Alright, let's head to the gy-"
"-and now it's time for a perfect judgemental time!" Cilan dramatically said
"Judgemental what?" Everyone excluding Cilan asked in surprise.
"What does that mean now?" Iris asked, "axew?" Axew also curiously peeked from Iris's hair.

Cilan's dress comically changed to a judge's outfit and the background suddenly turned into a court.

"See we all are done with Ash and Y/N's argument and we find Ash guilty in this matter" Cilan said, banging the gavel on the desk.

You found yourself sitting in the seats, while Ash was in the stage, defending himself.

"This is so dramatic, yet funny" Arlo remarked.

"Hey?! What?! I did nothing wrong!" Ash shouted, trying to defend himself.

"Boo! You're just scared to confess the truth! Boo!" Iris, Arlo and You opposed. "Chu!" "Row!" "Xew!" Even the pokémons were against Ash, including Pikachu.
