Ash got on the field with Burgundy, that's when you sat on the front bench, with your team except for Joltik.

"Uh Y/N, is it okay if I borrow Cinccino for a moment? I'm just gonna do a light training with it outside. Teddiursa and Plusle are also coming with me" Arlo said, standing infront of you.
"Uhm sure, but don't you want to watch Ash's match?" You asked, giving Cinccino's pokéball to Arlo, while it jumped over to his shoulder.
"I bet on my camera that Ash will win, cya!" He said rushing away.
"Oh boy" you sighed.

You were starting to get nervous now. Hilbert was your opponent and he definitely got stronger than the first day and moreover, he actually went out to do some last moment training like Arlo, so you were screwed.

'Who will i choose? What if i lose? I know its for fun, but i wanna win this feather set for some weird reason....I feel like someone is watching me and I gotta prove them that i'll win....ugh'

A camera click clock brought back senses to you.

"Huh?" You looked up to see Trip, taking pictures of Carracosta.
"Where did you get it?"
"W-what?"
Trip raised his eyebrow, "why are you sweating...?" He asked, observing you.
"Huh?" You asked dumbfounded and realised your hands were all sweaty and so was your forehead, "oh shoot, sorry-" you immediately took your handkerchief and rubbed your sweat off, 'why is this being watched feeling getting stronger...?'
"Are you nervous?" Trip asked, sitting beside you. Your three pokémon, smirking at each other.
"Kind of? I don't know....I'm just getting this strange feeling that I'm being watched"
"Hm?" Trip looked at you in confusion and looked around, trying to spot anyone strange, "you know...the crowd maybe watching you?"
"No! Its not the crowd...its...i don't know....i dont even know why you're believing me cause I sound like a crazy person right now..."
Trip blinked a few times before laughing, "yeah, you are strange, quite crazy, if you ask me, are all the people from boonies like this?" He teased.
"What did you say?!" You pouted angrily.

On the other side, Ash was slightly struggling with Palpitoad against Burgundy.

'Should I use mud shot again or-' Ash was thinking his next move, that's when his eyes fell upon YOU, talking to TRIP. Ash's eyes widened at the scene. 'Why is she laughing with him....? Trip is the type to make fun of us, then why are they both sitting so close and laughing together-!' Suddenly, he saw cottonee swirl infront of Trip, who blinked a few times before petting the grass type with a smile, which brightened your face up, 'N...No....No way.....This can't be hap-'

"Ash you're about to lose!" Iris' voice suddenly brought back Ash's senses.
"Looks like Ash got distracted a bit there" The anchor said.
"Ugh, I've had enough!" Ash suddenly shouted out loud, "let's finish this thing off using Mud shot and supersonic, followed by hydro pump!" The constant attack instantly knocked Stoutland out within a blink of an eye, making Burgundy lose.

"Woah! That was QUICK!" Iris' mouth flung opened.
"Now that was a spicy recipe if you ask me..."
"The match was perfect for my documentary!"
"Way to go Ash!" Stephan cheered.

Ignoring Burgundy's crap, Ash returned Palpitoad and left the field, hiding his face by his cap.

"Woohoo! Ash won!" You grinned, getting up.
"How long have you two been friends for?" Trip suddenly asked, surprising you.
"How long? Well uh...you see we know each other since we were kids but never talked until the day we both started our journey and slowly became friends after that....it's been five or six years, i believe" (broke the 4th wall! 5-6 years of travelling yet everyone is still 10y/o!)
"Oh" he nodded and got up, "Alright then, it's your match"
"Right! Spearow, let's do it!" "Row!" "You guys can stay here and watch, kay?" "Sta!" "Nee!"
Trip turned around and walked a bit away before saying something, "Prove me wrong and show that people from the boonies can also win, yeah?"
"How dare you say disrespect Kanto?!" An irk popped on your head, but you couldn't help but to laugh, 'Trip isn't like that....did he did all that to distract me from getting more anxious?' You thought with a warm smile on your face.
