Charmander's Combustion

At Route 3...

Me, Rylee, and Luis are walking through the route. Rylee: "It's so hot..." Rylee takes off her hat and starts to fan herself. Luis: "I got an idea. Ethan, use Squirtle to use Water gun on us." "Good thinking. Lemme do that." I send out Ben, and he drenches us with a water gun attack. Rylee: "That feels quite nice..." A random kid then interputs us and challenges Luis to a battle. Which Luis eagerly accepts. Rylee: "Well, i guess we wait until Luis is done battling." I smile. "Yeah..." Vee, who is on my shoulder, then stands up and jumps off, running into the trees. "Hey, Vee!" Vee turns around and starts running again through the trees. Rylee: "Ethan wait-" Rylee then follows me as I chase Vee. As we follow Vee, I notice smoke in the sky. A fire?

Once we get into a clearing, all I see is bright flames scorching the tall grass and smoke rising. "Ben! Use Water Gun!" Ben outs out some of the fire, and steam rises. Rylee: "Vee watch out!" A Ember then lands on Vee's fur, catching it on fire. "Water gun!" Vee gets hit by water gun, and the fire gets put out. "Ok, Ben, just keep dousing the fire." Ben nods and slowly walks forward as he takes the fire out. A Pokemon then gets hit by water gun, and jumps out of the fire. "A pokemon was in the fire?!" The pokemon was orange and has a tiny flame on its tail. I bet it accidentally caught this plain on fire. I use my pokedex. "A Charmander." The Charmander then runs away from the water gun and accidentally sets some more grass on fire. Rylee: "Oh no!" I then see a random pokeball get thrown at it... it shakes three times before it PINGS. Ben uses water gun on the area where Charmander just caught ablaze. Luis then walks forward and picks the pokeball up. Luis: "Don't leave next time."

"When did you get here?" Luis sighs. Luis: "Well, during the battle, the kid saw smoke, so i went to check it out." Rylee: "Well, good thing you did. That was some quick reaction you had there." That's right... by catching the pokemon, he stopped it from accidentally spreading the fire. Luis blushes slightly. Luis: "Yeah, i guess i did." Ben walks up to me. "Yeah, Ben?" Ben then points his hand at the plain, and how he finished. "Good job, Ben... now will ya please use a water gun on us again?" Im getting hot again... Ben sprays water on all of us, cooling us. Again.

Rylee: "Man, it's too hot for anyone to be outside right now..." We start to walk again towards Mt. Moon, which we start to see now. Luis: "Were so close!" Luis starts running ahead. Luis: "Race ya Ethan!" I start to give chase, with Vee following after me. Rylee: "Wait! Dont leave me!"

A few minutes later...

Luis: "I won." We both are now breathing heavil. "Next time, give me a warning -" Vee and Pikachu collapse on the ground, panting. Luis: "Wait, where is Rylee?" We all turn to a figure in the distance walking slowly towards us. "Yeah... we forgot about her." I start to lift up my shirt and fanning myself with it. It's hot, and I'm sweating like crazy. After a while, Rylee ctaches up. Rylee is now sweating, and her clothing (like ours) is now soaking wet, and now it is sticking onto us. "Ben, do your stuff." Ben nods and hits us all with hit refreshing cold, water gun attack. Rylee: "That feels good..." Both me and Luis nod. Luis: "Yup..." We then hear an explosion come from Mt.Moon. We all jump and almost fall down. A few seconds after, some rocks and dust fly out of the entrance. "What the heck is going on?!"

Luis: "Well, if we're gonna explore the cave... let's use Charmander. This way, its flame will provide light." Me and Rylee nod. "Yeah, then i'll have Ben out along with Rylee's Bulbasaur." We can then fend ourselves from any Rock pokemon that may try to attack us. Rylee: "I agree, let's do that." Me and Rylee send out our pokemon of choice and walk into the cave...

As we walked through the cave, rocks seemed to rumble and fall down below on us. "Wait, guys..." My friends stop walking and turn back to me. Another explosion then happens, and the ceiling of the cave starts to cave in. We all run back and barely escape the cave in. Dust goes flying out, and we can't see for a good minute. Rylee: "*cough* Guys - I think i see something!" I then see it, too. Some human figures start to walk towards us, coming from above. Did they cause the explosion. "Hey! *Cough* Stay back!" The person in front starts to talk. ???: "What are you kids doing here?!" Is he deaf or something? Luis: "We heard an explosion! Were you guys -" Luis gets interrupted as the guy kicks some rocks at us. Ouch. Luis: "What is the meaning of this?!" ???: "We are Team Rocket! We strike fear into people and pokemon, now if you don't mind. Hand over your pokemon now!" Some introduction... The dust finally settles, and now we can see them. They are in black mostly and have a red R on their shirt. Rylee: "Huh? No!" "Wait did you say that you strike fear into people?" Literally, i'm more scared of the fact that I almost died just now. Luis: "Who are you!?" Everyone looks at Luis. Luis then sighs as he realizes what he just asked. Luis... are you dumb?
