Ethan's Pokemon Journey!

The Thunder Badge

"Right then! Vee go!" Vee then runs onto the field with a determined expression. Lt. Surge: "Magnemite, go!" Is his whole strategy to blow up his enemies?! "Vee use Quick Attack!" Lt. Surge: "Now use Thunderbolt!" Vee gets hit and falls down. "Return!" I return Vee into the pokeball. She is low... I can't have it end this way... the next pokemon i send out will get hit by a Self-Destruct... Unless I push it back! "Pixy go!" Pixy comes out of the pokeball, curious as sparks fly around the gym. Lt. Surge: "Now Self-Destruct!" Magnemite then charges at Pixy at full speed. "Now, Roar!" Pixy then lets out a roar which causes Magnemite to hit a wall and explode. Lt. Surge: "Haha! I didn't see that one coming!" He returns his fainted Magnemite. Phew! That was a close one, Pixy...

Lt. Surge: "Go, Raichu!" He then finally sends out his big mouse pokemon. The main threat on his team. "Use Will-O-Wisp!" Lt. Surge: "Use Dig!" Raichu then goes underground, and Will-O-Wisp misses. "Dang it! Pixy dodge it!" Pixy barely avoids the attack, but falls down doing so. Lt. Surge: "Now Thunder!" Raichu then releases a Thunder attack at Pixy. "Pixy return!" I return Pixy before she could get hit. "You're my last switch! Go Vee!" Vee comes out of the pokeball. Lt. Surge: "Raichu use Dig!" Raichu goes underground once again. What should I do now... Wait... if electricity gets drawn to electric types, then that means...

"Vee use Buzzy Buzz!" Vee shoots the Buzzy Buzz into the ground, and the sparks get bigger. "Now jump!" Vee jumps at a perfect time and avoids Raichu's attack. Lt. Surge: "Quick thinking, but it's too late, kid! Thunder!" Vee then gets hit mid-air by the attack and faints. "Well, at least i know that much... Go, Pixy!" Pixy comes out of the pokeball. Lt. Surge: "Now Dig again!" "Pixy follow Raichu into the hole!" Pixy then looks at me before jumping into the hole. "Now use Confuse Ray!" Pixy and Raichu both crawl out of the hole. Lt. Surge: "Huh?!" Raichu then hurts itself in Confusion. "Flamethrower!" Raichu gets hit and gets burned. Lt. Surge: "Use Thunder!" "Pixy use Roar!" Pixy then stops the Thunder from crashing from above her. She dodges, and the Thunder collapses onto the ground. "I didn't think that would actually work..." Lt. Surge: "Raichu! Use Dig!" Raichu then goes underground. "Pixy... just keep running!" Pixy runs around for a few seconds until she gets flung upwards from Dig. She hits a wall, and Raichu falls over. Pixy is very low, and Raichu fainted from its burn. Lt. Surge: "You... actually won! Haha! That was great soldier!" I sigh. "Thank you?" Lt. Surge then hands me the Thunder Badge. Lt. Surge: "It's all yours." "Thank you! Alright, Pixy, we did it!" I pick up Pixy, and she gives an exhausted sigh. I set her down and pin my Badge under the Cascade Badge. "That's badge number three."

Luis: "Alright, Ethan!" Rylee: "I guess that means it's my turn next." Me and Luis leave the gym. Luis: "Time to heal up our pokemon!" Me and Luis walk to the pokemon center and go to heal our pokemon...

A few minutes later...

Nurse Joy: "Your Pokemon have now made a full recovery." She hands us our pokeballs. "Thank you, Nurse Joy!" Luis: "Bye, thank you!" We walk out of the pokemon center. Luis: "So what do you wanna do?" I shrug. "Actually! Didn't we come here to see the S.S. Anne?" Luis pauses. Luis: "Wait, what time is it!?" I check my phone. "Um... it's 10:57" Luis: "Dang it... the boat left at 10... we missed it." Luis starts to slouch. "Well, i mean, we can train while we wait for Rylee..." Luis then pops back up. Luis: "Yeah, let's do that." We walk to Route 11 and start to look around for other trainers.

Luis: "Have you found any?" I shake my head. "Nope." Luis sighs. Luis: "Well then, i guess we'll just have to battle Wild pokemon then..." Luis walks forward and crashes into...thin air? Luis: "What the -" He puts his hand out. Luis: "Hey, i feel something right here... it seems invisible." I walk towards him. "Huh? Let me try." I put my hand out and feel an invisible wall of some sort. "That's weird..." I then see a pokemon walk to us from the trees. Luis: "What's that pokemon?" Luis takes out his pokedex. Luis: "A Mr. Mime." Luis continues to read the info on the pokemon. Luis: "Wait- these pokemon can make invisible walls?!" Vee jumps off my shoulder and taps the invisible wall in front of us. "Well then, let's catch it! Having something like this on our team will help us out." Luis grabs a pokeball. Luis: "Yeah, let's do that! Go Charmeleon!" "Well then, in this case... Lets go, Ben!"
