Ethan's Pokemon Journey!

A Odd situation

We run out of the cave. We all stop once we are out and take a huge breath of air. Rylee: "Ahh...Fresh air..." Luis returns his Charmander. Luis: "Thank you, Charmander. You did good." I turn around to return Ben and Buzz... but I don't see Buzz anywhere. "Buzz?" I look everywhere around me. "Buzz?!" My friends turn to me confused. Rylee: "What happened?" I quickly turn to my friends and grab the shoulders of the closet person to me, which is Luis. "Buzz is missing!" Luis takes my hands off of his shoulders. Luis: "Try to return it. Each pokemon is connected to a specific pokeball... so as long as you use it, then it should be able to return your Beedrill." "Y-yeah, that makes sense." I go to grab Buzz's pokeball but feel nothing. "Huh?" Luis and Rylee look at me, worried. "Buzz's pokeball... it's gone!"

I start to feel my eyes water. Rylee: "Calm down... Maybe it's still in the cave." "No, it's not. I remember now." I look down, and I can feel my friends gaze. "You know when the Golbat used Thief...? Well, i remember feeling a bit of pain on the same spot my pokeball was at." The wind blows as I look up, i start to tear up. Luis: "Beedrill... was kidnapped?" I nod without saying anything else. I wipe my tears. "I'm going back!" I start to walk towards the cave. Luis: "Wait! Ethan!" I turn around, half sad, and half angry. Luis: "It's too dangerous... and were all tired. We should head for Cerulean City and come back tomorrow." Rylee nods at me, from behind Luis. "But -" Rylee interrupts and approaches me. Rylee: "Ethan. I promise we will get Beedrill back someday... just not today. I'm sorry." I look away and nod.

After that, we started our 3 mile journey to Cerulean City. I notice an Ekans slither down a tree as we pass by, it stared at us. Luis: "Hi?" Luis waves to the random Ekans. "Dang it -" Still salty about Buzz getting kidnapped. I kick a rock, which then makes a thud sound as it disappears into the tall grass. We then stop in our tracks as the tall grass shakes and the rustling moves closer towards us. I grab a Pokeball. "Well, if i can't have Buzz with me, I'll need a substitute for the meantime." The pokemon jumps out of the grass, and I throw the pokeball. The pokeball then shakes three times afterwards... PING! "I wonder what pokemon i caught." I grab the pokeball and peek inside to see a blue onion with some some leaves in its head. I check my pokedex. "... Oddish. A Grass and Posion type." Rylee: "It's kinda cute." I look the the right to see Rylee looming over my shoulder. I take a step forward before facing my friends. "You're in my personal space." Rylee tilts her head with a nervous smile. Rylee: "Sorry." Luis: "Hey guys! I can see Cerulean City from up here!" Luis is now on the edge of a cliff. Both me and Rylee join him and see the bright lights of the city. The wind blows. Luis: "Last one there is a rotten exeggcute!" Luis starts to run down the hill towards the city. "No, you don't -" Rylee: "Hey! Wait up." I chase after him, and Rylee follows.

Luis gets to the city first. Luis: "I win!" Both me and Luis are now breathing heavily. We turn to Rylee as she jogs towards us, wheezing. "You ok, Rylee?" Rylee shakes her head and looks up at us. She then opens her purse and grabs something before putting it into her mouth. After a few seconds, she gives a relieved sigh. Rylee: "Can you guys slow down..." She then shows us her inhaler. Luis: "Ah, im so sorry! I didn't know you had asthma!" "Yeah, if you told us before we wouldn't have been running." Rylee glares at us before sighing. Rylee: "It's fine. Let's just get to the pokemon center and get some rest."

We did exactly that and fell asleep.

The next morning...

I wake up when a bright light shines onto my face. It was the sun. Rylee: "Wake up." I look up at the sun to see Rylee and the curtains in her hand. Luis: "Why do we jave ro wake up so early?" Rylee sighs. Rylee: "Early?" Both me and Luis look at each other before checking our phones. "12:17?!" We both jump out of bed and get our stuff together. "How long have you been up?" Rylee: "11:20 or so." I turn back to Rylee and notice she is now wearing an Azure Blue dress, with some red flowers on them. Her hair is also straightened and shines in the sunlight. Rylee notices I'm looking at her and smiles. I turn away. "Sorry for staring." Rylee: "It's ok. You guys probably haven't seen me wearing a dress, so it might be a little odd for you guys." Me and Luis shrug. Luis: "Yeah, sorta. But, i mean, you look good." Rylee smiles to the compliment. Rylee: "Thank you." "Luis is right. You look good." Rylee looks at the both of us. Rylee: "Well, are we going?" Oh. "Sure." We get our stuff and leave the room...

"Alright! It's time for us to train!" I step outside of the pokemon center and stretch my arms. Rylee: "Ok... you guys do that. Imma go shopping." We agree to meet up around 2 pm, and she leaves. Luis: "Wanna battle?" "You bet i do!"
