Ethan's Pokemon Journey!

The Next Day...

We get packed up and change into our swimtrunks when we wake up.

We get to the beach, and decide to play a bit in the water. Luis: "Everyone come on out!" We let our pokemon our and they play around.

"Imma go surfing!" I hop onto Ben and we go a bit farther into the water. I then stand up ad a wave starts to roll over. "That's right!" Luis claps as I start to get past the wave but then I get slammed under. I get washed back to the shore. "I'm good." Luis: "My turn next." Luis runs into the water and run onto his Gyarados. I sit down and relax.

"For once I don't have worry about a single thing..."

???: "Thank god."

I turn around. Who said that? I then see three people walk forward 1 guy, 2 girls. Each of them have a red R on their swimtrunks or swimsuit.

Team Rocket!

"What are you guys doing here!?" Grunt 1: "We came to the beach?" Vee jumps up and growls. "Can't i just have one day without a problem?!" I stand up and cross my arms. The grunts look at eachother confused. Grunt 2: "Ummm... we're on our vacation...?" I pause. "Wait. So you guys won't be causing a problem?" Grunt 3: "We literally just want to enjoy our vacation day." Grunt 2: "Yes. We won't cause a problem."

"Oh ok. Then carry on, sorry for overreacting." The grunts nodded and then ran into the water before splashing eachother. I then gawk at them in confusion. THEY SMILE?!!

Ok, maybe not all of them are all that bad. I sit back down and Vee comes back with her fur soaking wet. Wait when did she run into the water?

In the corner of my eye I see my phone light up. Who could it be? I wipe my moist hands onto the towel and grab my phone. It's Rylee.

She wants to know where we are at. I just send her my location using Google Maps and set my phone back down. Luis: "Hey Ethan! Look at what i found!" Luis then holds up two orangish- brown shells connected together with some ends on each side pointing out.

I walk over and check it out. "I never seen a shell this big, and this kind of color." Luis hands it to me and I examine it more closely. "This is one sick shell." I then hold it up and a weird pink tongue rolls out. Me and Luis: "Huh?!" The shell then gives a cry and it jumps out of our hands. Luis: "It has eyes...?" I run and grab my pokedex from the towel before running back.

"Hm. It is a shellder... except this one is brown instead of blue." Luis: "Huh. I wonder why's that." We both pause before it dawns on us.

OH SHIT.

LUIS FOUND A SHINY SHELLDER!

Luis: "Woah!!" I grab a pokeball. "Lets catch it!" I throw a pokeball at it and it goes inside and shakes a few times. It then comes out and starts digging into the sand. Luis: "Gah! It was so close!" "Don't let it escape!" I grab onto it and Luis grabs the pokeball and slams it into Shellder.

Shake... shake... shake... PING!

Both me and Luis jump into the air. "We caught a shiny Shellder!" Our pokemon come over and looks at the pokemon. Luis: "Tike to add it to my team-" He looks at his pokemon and points at each individual one as he counts. Luis: "Dang it. I have a full team." I glance at my pokempn and shrug. "Me too."

Luis: "...So what are we gonna do with it?" I shrug. "Guess we keep it. Maybe not add it to our team but still have it on us." We both look at the pokemon. Luis: "Wait- Hold on a second i caught the Shellder it is technically mine! Not to mention i found it!" "Use used my pokeball to catch it, and not only that i held it down so it wouldn't flee!"

Pikachu and Vee both stare at us like we're crazy while we both continue to shout at eachother about who should keep Shellder. "-Oh yeah?! Well Shellder's name is now Shelly!" Luis: "Hey that's cheating. You know i don't like Nicknames on my pokemon." I smile. "I know." He scoffs, and walks away. "Well then. Welcome to the team Shelly!"

All of my pokemon nod of approval. "Lets now play!" I let Shelly the Shellder out and I run into the water with her in my arms.
