Morning News

The Next Day...

Averie: "Ethan, wait up!" I groan and I turn to my doorway. The sun the peers through my window and flashes me. "Ah!" I flip around and I sit up. "What?" Averie: "Do you think you can catch me a pokemon? Mom and Olivia won't help me try to catch one of my own." I sit up and look at my baby sister. "No. You aren't old enough, yet." I get off of my bed and stretch. Vee, drowsly, gets up from her spot and finds the warmer spot in the sun.

Averie: "Pleeaase?" I stop at the doorway and turn to Averie really quick. "No is no." I then walk into the kitchen and get myself some cereal. Olivia: "Oh, your awake." I notice my sister on the couch in the living room. She then turns on the TV.

Tv: "...And now we are broadcasting live at the Viridian City Gym. We are hope to get a glimpse of the new Gym Leader." I pause. "What?!" I get myself into the living room quickly. What do they mean by: "The New Gym Leader." ?!

Olivia: "Ethan. Please move, I am trying to see as well." I glance at my sister and take a few steps back.

The News Reporter then knock on the Gym doors but... no one answers. "Maaan-I really wanted to see the Gym Leader--" Olivia: "oh, thats right! You are collecting the gym badges right?" I don't answer but rather I go into my room and grab my jacket.

"Yes." I flash my Gym Badges at her and both my baby sister and Olivia look at then in awe. Olivia: "That's cool. You have 7 already!" Averie: "Woaaah!"

I put my Jacket on and grin. "The Gym Leaders were tough- But not as tough as me!" Averie: "I can't wait til' I am a trainer! I then will beat you!" Me and sisters glance at eachother and we both snicker. I then put on a serious face. "Yup- Totally."

"Though Averie, it is actually really dangerous out there. Like, to be fair, sometimes I got in some dangerous situations." Averie stares at me blankly. I face-palm my face. "Nevermind-"

Olivia: "So, what exactly is dangerous? Besides the Pokemon?" "There are dangerous People out there. And not to mention Mother Nature." Vee nods in agreement. Olivia: "Well, i mean, duh. But, anything other than that?" Olivia stands up. "I dunno..." She shrugs and walks away.

"Anyways- If there is going to be a new Gym Leader, I got to tell Rylee and Luis!" I open the front door. Olivia: "You're just gonna leave?!" I nod and close the door behind me, running as fast as I can towards Luis's House.

I got to tell the others and regroup ourselves so then we can leave.

Ding-Dong!

I put my hands onto my knees and I try to catch my breath. It feels like I have just ran a mile.

The door opens and Luis's Mom, drowsily looks down at me.

Luis's Mom: "Hm? Oh, Ethan was it?" I nod and stand up normally. "Y-yeah." Luis's Mom: "... Do you want me to get Luis up?" I nod as I continue to try to catch my breath. She then welcomes me inside and goes into a hallway, before walking into another room.

The place teams to be pretty tiddy and neat.

I then see a man walk out from another hallway and he looks at me confused. Must be Luis's Dad.

"Oh. H-hey." Luis's Dad?: "Hello... who are you?" He walks forward and stay a few feet away from me. "My name is Ethan, you must be Luis's Dad. I am Luis's Friend." Luis's dad: "Ohhh! Ok, hello Ethan. I heard a lot of you."

He puts his hand out and I shake it.

Luis's Dad: "Nice to meet you." He smiles. "Nice to meet you too--" I grin nervously. Luis's Mom: "Luis should be out in a minute or two. He is getting himself up and ready." "Oh. Ok. Thank you."

Luis's Parents then split their own ways as one start breakfast and the other seems to to grab a suit and a some pokeballs. In one of them, a Pidgeot lays inside.

Must be a Fly pokemon.

Luis: "Alright, I am ready." Luis walks out of the hallway and into the living room. "Oh. Right, ok then." I head to the door. "Bye." Luis: "Bye Mom, Bye dad." We leave as they say bye.

We close the door behind us and go down the porch steps.

Luis: "Anyways- Why did you wake me up? It better be important..." "Ok, so basically, I need you to get Rylee. I need to get my stuff, but I will meet you guys at Route 1." Luis looks at me drowsily. Luis: "What? That's what you woke me up for?" "Sorta- I'll tell you later though, thanks! Bye!" I then rush off, again, this time, to my house.

Luis: "What the heck?! You can't just run off and not give me a good reason to why you woke me up!"
