Ethan's Pokemon Journey!

Beating Brock

Well, i can't give up now! "Buzz, go!" My Kakuna comes out of the pokeball and stares at Onix. Brock: "FWUHAHAH! Sorry kid, but you expect to beat me with a Kakuna? Then we will just have to finish this off with Rock Tomb!" "Use Harden!" Buzz blocks the attack and gets surrounded by rocks. Brock: "Now use Wrap!" Onix then wraps around Buzz and crushes the rocks around it, doing damage. "Fine, then use Poison Sting!" Onix gets hit and gets Poisoned.

I check my pokedex. Buzz is now in the red. "Buzz! Poison sting!" Buzz hits Onix one more time, and both pokemon pauses. Onix releases Buzz and falls over, fainting. Brock looked at me, shocked. To be honest, i was shocked, too. Brock: "Huh?!" Did the poison beat it? Buzz then starts to emit light from it once again. "It's evolving!" The light then fades as Buzz finishes its transformation. I look at Buzz, who is now a Beedrill. "A Beedrill!?" Buzz flies towards me, and I jump back. "Oh, sorry, Buzz... i just didn't expect you to evolve into a Beedrill..." Beedrill tilts its head. I guess it doesn't fully understand anyway... Brock then confronts me. Brock: "Well, by the official pokemon League rules, i present you to Boulder Badge." He puts his hand out, and I get my first badge!

"Yeah! We did it, Buzz!" Buzz smiles towards me. Brock: "You did great... Ethan." "Thank you, Brock! And thank you, Buzz!" With that, I walk out of the gym with my new badge pinned onto my jacket. Luis and Rylee are sitting down talking amount themselves, but then they turn around as my shadow casts iver them. Luis: "You did it!" Rylee congratulates me while clapping. "Yeah... also, where is your badge, Luis?" Luis then looks at me. Luis: "Oh yeah! That's right..." He then pulls open his jacket, and on his shirt, he pinned his Boulder Badge. "Yeah! Now, all we need to do is wait for Rylee before heading back onto the road." Rylee looks at me confused. Rylee: "Huh? Wait, were traveling together now?" Me and Luis glance at each other and shrug. "Sure, i mean, after all, It'll be more fun this way." Rylee pauses, and I can tell she is thinking about it. She then nods. Rylee: "Ok, i guess i will -" Luis: "Yay." "Alright!" Brock then passes by us. Brock: "Ethan, Luis, come with me." Me and Luis follow Brock while Rylee sits down.

We go to the pokemom center. Brock: "So the room is on me!" Really?! "Wait! So you're paying for our rented room tonight?" Brock nods. Luis: "Yeah! Thank you, Brock!" Brock: "No problem!"  Then walks to the counter, and gives nurse Joy his pokemon. Luis: "You should heal up your pokemon." I look up. "You're probably right." I walk to the counter, and right before Nurse Joy leaves the desk, I give her my pokemon.

A few minutes later...

After our pokemon get healed, Brock gets us the room, and both me and luis decide to lie down on the beds. Luis: "I wonder when Rylee will be back." I sit up from my bed and turn my body towards Luis. "Well, she had a Bulbasaur. She should be getting here sooner or later." Vee jumps onto my bad and lays down next to me. Luis's Pikachu then lays on Luis's chest. We stay silent for about 2 minutes until Rylee walks in. Rylee: "Hi!" I look up at Rylee to see her new gym badge on her pink bolero jacket. "You did it!" Rylee beams with excitement. Rylee: "Yup!" She then spots her bed and jumps on it. Rylee: "But, boy am i tired." She gets under the covers. "Well, i guess i'll turn off the lights then..." I get out of bed and flip the light switch off. We all fall asleep, getting our rest, so we can be prepared for tomorrow's journey.

The next morning...

I wake up as I hear Luis getting mad. Pikachu snickers, along with Rylee. "Did you shock him away, too?" Rylee jumps. Rylee: "Aww, man... i was about to get you too -" Pikachu laughs at Luis, who then gets out of bed. I checked my phone. 100%. Luis then walks out the door. Ok then. I get out of bed and put on my jacket and bag. Before I can head out the door, Rylee stops me. Rylee: "Wait!" I turn to Rylee confused. "I thought we were about to leave...?" Rylee smiles at me. Rylee: "No- I volunteered Luis to go get some breakfast for us. Imma pay him back afterward." Ohhh, ok. I shut the door and sit back on my my bed. Rylee: "Anyways, dont come into the bathroom. Imma be changing." She then grabs some of her clothes and closes the door behind her. "I won't." I grab my phone and start to text my mother, who seems to be worried about me. I sigh.

After a few minutes, Luis walks in with some tacos. Luis: "Tacos are ok, right?" "I dont see wynaut?" Rylee then opens the door. She is wearing a black hat that looks like a thing a witch would own. She is wearing some dark gray shorts, and finally, she has a bolero black jacket over a blue shirt with some stripes that go horizontal. Rylee: "Well, I'm ready for the summer heat." She then notices the tacos. Rylee: "Thank you, Luis." She takes a tacos, and takes a bite. I decided to take one as well. "Thank you, Luis." Luis then looks at Rylee. Luis: "I havent forgit that you owe me money." Rylee smiles and grabs her purse. Luis tells Rylee the price of the tacos, and she gives Luis the money in cash.

After we feed our pokemon and bellys, we leave the room. We give the keys back to Nurse Joy and leave. Vee, Pikachu, and Jigglypuff hen run ahead of us, full of energy. "Ok, guys! Let's head for Mt. Moon!" Both Luis and Rylee, just walk on ahead without saying anything. .... ok?
