Let the Battle Begin!

3 Hours Later...

Rylee: "Oh- There you are!" Rylee runs to me as I enter the waiting room. Rylee: "It's on battle 103. It's almost our turn." We then get a Ding on our phone.

It'd a notification that we are soon to be up. "Hm- Well, I'm ready, I don't know about you." Vee nods with a smile. Rylee nods. Rylee: "I am. I am also nervous as well... Everyone is gonna be looking at us."

She smiles nervously and I very lightly punch her shoulder. "Uh- Don't worry. Just... Just try to focus on me. And you'll do fine."

We both stand near the entrance of the Stadium Battlecourt, ready for when it is our turn. Two people then walk past us, going in while two others walk into the waiting room.

Two people have finished their battle and two others are next.

Ugh! I'm so nervous!

Man- I just gotta focus on the battle! It'll be fine... I'll be fine.

I sit down on the floor of the wall, shaking a bit.

"Darn it..." Rylee: "You're a shaking, you ok?" I nod slighty. "I just... I just can't have everyone have their eyes on me. Its really unnerving. I often freeze."

I then sigh, slap my face and stand up. "But, nonetheless, I just got to get it over with and try my best." Rylee nods and Vee hops onto her shoulder, her seeming to be perfectly fine.

Pyrafox: "Ethan." I look up and find the whole group, Luis, Pyrafox and Rjpro walking our way.

Rjpro: "It's about your battle soon, right?" We nod. Pyrafox: "Alright. Good luck to both of you then."

I chuckle. "Thanks?" Rylee: "Thanks." We then look at Luis, who is looking down. He then looks up at us suddenly, with a serious face.

Luis: "Nothing against you Rylee but.. Ethan. You better go KICK SOME ASS!"

Luis: "You better not have just got here, the League. THIS FAR- Just to lose to Rylee... who rarely ever trains, who isn't far as strong as you... You hear me?!" I stare at Luis. I look at Rylee and she shrugs.

"You... You know I don't lose. But when I do... It is too someone far greater than me." I smile and look at the other guys. They nod with a smile towards me and Rylee.

"So don't worry Luis. I will win."

"... So then. Pyrafox. Don't go losing, alright?" Pyrafox's eyes go wide and he grins. Pyrafox: "I won't."

"Because- If I am to lose... It WILL be you and ONLY you." Pyrafox: "I won't lose. I'll do my best and then hopefully, I'll face you one last time."

We both grin and fist bump eachother. Rylee: "*Sigh* You boys are kinda crazy."

"Thanks."

We then get another Ding. This time...

The last battle has finished pretty quickly and it is our turn to head onto the battlefield.

Rjpro: "I guess it is your turn." Everyone gives us one last wave and wishes us luck, again. We then wave and thank them.

"Thank you."

With that, we leave into the hallway, passing up the previous battlers and heading onto the battlefield ourselves.

Fuck... Fuck, Fuck, FUCK- This is it! This is our battle!

We then step out onto the walkway and...

Well many lights shine from all around the stadium, from above and from the sides, at first blinding us. Their loud cheering soon echoes in my ears and I start shaking again.

I feel my heart beating faster and faster, getting more nervous and scared with each step.

I suddenly stop.

Why'd I stop...?

WHY CAN'T I MOVE?!!

I look around the stadium, many people watching me as I stand still in fear.

Shit... Shit!

No, no- I can't get stage fright NOW!!!

Vee then notices that I froze and then jumps off Rylee's Shoulder and runs to me.

She then quickly hops onto me, and gives a swift and soft Nuzzle.

I then force my feet to move but I move pretty slow. Vee then jumps off me and then uses Helping Hand on me.

For some reason... somehow, it helps.

It calms me a bit and I start walking to my side of the field quickly.

And at last... we finally make it and I stand still. Now I can stand still... for now.

I look up and see my First Offical opponent of the Pokemon League: Rylee.

She is squirming nervously as she grabs a pokeball and holds it in her hand.

Speakers: "Annd- This is battle 105! Ethan vs Ryleee!"

The crowd cheers loudly.

Speakers: "Are both sides ready?" We nod.

Speakers: "Alright! Well this will be a 3 Vs 3 battle. You can switch a unlimited amount of Times. With that... LET THE BATTLE BEGINNN!!!"

People then Roar from all around the stadium.

Rylee then throws the pokeball she had in her hand onto the ground not far away and her Jigglypuff pops out.

"Al-alright then..."

I go to grab a Pokeball but then Vee jumps off my Shoulder, standing towards Jigglypuff and Rylee.

She wants to battle...

"Ok then- Vee... I choose you!"
