Ethan's Pokemon Journey!

Regi-Ice Cream

Rylee: "Ah~ I can now relax." Rylee crawls onto the beach towel and lays down. Me and Luis's pokemon come to greet Rylee, as she has returned, and go back to playing. Luis: "How are you not hot Rylee? I feel like imma melt in this sun." Luis uses his hand to waft cool air to himself and I stand there, not sure what to do.

"Hey guys. What do you say we get some ice cream?" Rylee and Luis stop what their doing and turn to me with a smile. Rylee and Luis: "Yeah!" Vee then gives a cry and I look down to see her drooling while her tail is wagging like crazy. "Ok, ok. You'll get one too i guess..."

So we all pack up our stuff and head back into the city. (We are not taking our chances of getting our stuff stolen.) "Now where exactly is it...? Google maps said it was about right here." I look up from my phone but I don't see Regi-ice Cream's place anywhere around here. I scratch my head.

Rylee: "Lemme see." I hand Rylee my phone and Rylee takes it and after studying it for a few seconds she turns to me. Rylee: "Ethan. It is behind the building behind us." ...

"Oh."

Rylee hands my phone back to me and she starts jogging quickly around the corner, with me and Luis following after her.

Rylee: "-And here it is!" We all gaze at the shop and look through the windows to see all of the diffrent kinds of Ice Cream. "Mint Chocolate Chip!" I press my face against the glass. Luis then opens the door.

Luis: "Well you 'gonna look at it all day?" I look uo to see Luis and Rylee waiting for me at the doorway. "No. Wait up guys."

We all walk in and we look around. Woah- So many accessories in the shop! I look at some small stone Statue in the middle of the ice. The statue seems to resemble a pokemon with most of its body being flat, but pointy on some parts. A label underneath it says: "Regice. The Iceberg Pokemon."

"Regice huh..." I go to touch the statue but someone slaps my hand away. Regi-Ice worker: "Hey! Kid, did you not see the sign that said: HANDS OFF!" I wince. "Huh? Oh sorry. I didn't see the sign." The worker scoffs. Regi-ice Worker: "No excuses!" Vee and I look at him confused. Why does he seems to be a bit hostile? "I-I'm not lying. It was an honest mistake."

My friends then walk over. Rylee: "What's going on?" Before I can say anything, the worker adds his two sense. Regi-ice Worker: "This guy thinks he can touch this Statue and get away with it!" He points at the Regice statue. Rylee and Luis examine it. Luis: "Uhh... I don't see the big deal-" The worker grabs a pokeball and before he can throw it, another hand pops out from nowhere and slaps his hand. The pokeball drops and another worker seems to walk forward.

Regi-Ice Manager: "I am sorry for Jacob. He can get so serious sometimes." We all turn to the Manager, who seems to be in his mid 20s or 30s. He glares at Jacob and Jacob immediately stands next to him with a straight face. "Huh?" Regi-ice Manager: "Sorry. I didn't mean to intrude on your conversation. I saw that Jacob was causing a problem again so I came over to help." We all look at the guy confused. Luis: "Wait what?"

Regi-ice Manager: "Alright, let me restart from the beginning. Hi, my name is Colton. Was there a problem?" Vee glances at me and then Jacob, the worker. "Nope. Not really honestly- I didn't see a Sign and almost touched the Regice Statue. Jacob was probably just doing his job, so I'm sorry."

Jacob: "I was you little piece of ..." The Manager flashes a warning glance at Jacob and looks back at us. Colton: "Ah. I see. Yes, though will you aren't to touch the statue... Jacob shouldn't have acted rashly." Jacob picks up his pokeball and bows at us.

Jacob: "I am sorry for causing you any trouble... i guess." "It's ok. You were just doing your job, like i said." Vee tugs on my jacket collar and I turn to her. She then points her paw towards the Ice Cream. "One second... anyways- We are going to head over and get some Ice Cream, if that is ok." Colton nods. Colton: "Right. Now i hope you guys have a good day." Rylee: "On behalf of the three of us, I wish you a good day too."

So we finally get our ice cream and we sit down on a bench.

"Mmm... this is great!" Vee gives a happy cry and shoves her face into the ice cream. Rylee: "Mhm... Um, what is Vee doing?" We all turn to Vee and she stares at us back, with ice cream all over her face and fur. ... Luis: "Well you 'gonna clean her up?" I shrug. "Not right now. She is still eating."

Jacob: "Hey kid." We all turn to Jacob who stands at the doorway. He is facing us. "Huh?" Jacob: "So, uh, you are a trainer right?" I nod and Vee looks up from her ice cream. Jacob: "Do you care for a battle?" "Umm... sure." I hand Vee my Ice Cream and stand up.

Ugh. Why did I even say yes? I told myself today was going to be a break day...
