Ethan's Pokemon Journey!

Pyrafox's Power

After me and Luis leave Rylee to do her shopping, we somehow get lost in the middle of the mall.

"Where are we even at..." Luis looks around, looking for some map of some sort, but can't see much as a crowd of people and pokemon walk past us. Luis: "We need these people to get out of our way!" I then snap my fingers. "I got it!" I throw a pokeball above us. "Flora, lets go!" The pokeball falls down, and Flora comes out. "Stink up the place, Flora." Me and Luis pinch our noses, and Flora lets out it horrid smell. It only takes about 30 seco, ds and basically, everyone had left our area. Luis: "Alright! I found the map!" Me and Luis go to the map. "The door isn't far. so that's good." I turn to Flora to see a random kid have a staring contest with it. Luis: "Are they having a staring contest?" I shrug. "I have no idea. Flora doesn't open her eyes..." I return Flora, and we leave the mall.

Luis: "Ok, so what should we do first?" I shrug. "I heard there is a Battle Dojo around here..." I grab my phone and use Google maps. "Neveremind, it's up north. We're literally at the lowest part, south." Pikachu and Luis groan. Luis: "So you wanna just battle?" "No, not right now. I wanna search for Team Rocket." Luis looks at me confused before he nods. Luis: "It's because of Beedrill, isn't it?" "Yup! I can't wait until i can get my revenge." I smile. Luis: "Well, i heard there is a gym here..." I take out my phone. "Also in the north part of Saffron City -" Luis: "Arcues damn it."

Eventually we find a place where trainers meet up to train.

Luis: "Woah..." We look at the group of trainers. They all look so focused as someone walked around the whole group. "Lets join them!" We run up to the group leader, and he turns to us. ???: "Hello. Are you here to make your pokemon stronger?" We both nod. Jason: "The welcome! My name is Jason. Now please join us." He directs us next to two trainers, and once there, he goes back to the front of everyone. Jason: "Ok! So i have decided! We will practice double battles today!" Double battles? I raise my hand. "Uh. So, what is a double battle?" Everyone turns to me, all dumbfounded. "Sorry..." Jason: "...now like i was saying. We will be doing double battles. Choose a partner now." A partner? Someone to work with? I turned to Luis but some other trainers were already talking to him. Someone then walls up to me. It was the same guy we met previously at Saffron City's closed gate!

???: "Hey." "Hi... um, we meet before, right?" The boy nods. Pyrafox: "Yes. Sorry, i didn't introduce myself properly last time. My name is Pyrafox. What's your name?" Pyrafox? That's an odd name... maybe it's a name he wants me to call him. "Hello, Pyrafox. My name is Ethan." We shake hands. Pyrafox: "Well then, Ethan, would you like to be my partner?" Before I can say anything, Vee jumps onto my shoulder. "I guess so." I look around us. Pretty much everyone had a partner at this point. .... Jason: "Ok, everyone! Now that you guys now have a partner, i need you guys to pick another group together. The grouo you choose will be who you battle against." Everyone immediately starts looking for other people to battle. "Hey- Wait, um... Hey sir, would you..." As I try and find me and Pyrafox a teammate, they ignore me. Pyrafox then puts his hands on my shoulder: "Don't worry. A lot of the people seem to be a bit older. Since we are younger, it's likely they think we are weak." "Weak? I'll show them then!"

We finally find another team to battle against. Pyrafox: "Ok, so i got a question. Do you have a water type?" I nod. "Yup, i got Ben." I grab my pokeball and show him my Wartortle. Pyrafox: "Perfect. I got a Jolteon that knows Thunder Shock." He must want to use the water to spread the flow of electricity everywhere, like how me and Luis did earlier.

After a little while, we get onto Batlefield number 7. Our opponents are Tom and Victor. They are about the same age as we are. Jason: "Ready, set, BATTLE!" Me and Pyrafox send out our Wartortle and Jolteon while our opponents had a Graveler and a Golbat. "Ben, use Rapid Spin and Water Gun!" Pyrafox: "Jolteon use Quick Attack and jump up!" Victor: "Golbat use Screech!" Tom: "Earthquake Graveler!" The pokemon get into action, and Ben sprays water everywhere while Jolteon and Golbat are in the air. Ben then gets hut by Earthquake and faints. "No!" Pyrafox: "Thunder shock now!" Midair, Jolteon then shoots the bolt of electricity into the water, which then shocks Graveler and Golbat. Graveler and Golbat both faint. "Yeah, we won!... but how? Graveler isn't affected by electric type attacks." Pyrafox: "While that is true, when ground types get in contact with water, electricity will spread and shock them as they are weak to water types." Oh... Wow! I never knew that! "Woah- How'd you know that?!" Pyrafox: "Lots of practice." He smiles. Pyrafox: "Now let's get off the stage. We must be keeping people waiting while we're here." I nod.
