Ethan's Pokemon Journey!

Rocket's Raticate

Team Rocket Grunt: "Now, like i was saying! Hand over your pokemon, or you are in for a world of pain!" Me and my friends look at each other and smile. He does not know what we have gone through... we turn back to them. "No way!" Rylee: "I'm good." Luis: "Why would we ever give up our pokemon?!" They smile mischievously. Team Rocket grunt: "HAHA! Guys, attack them!" The grunts then send out like... 5 Rattatas, 3 Zubats, and an Onix... "We can take this right, guys?" I turned to my friends, but they already sent out a pokemon for battle. Rylee: "Bulbasaur use Vine whip on Onix!" Luis: "Pikachu use Thunder shock on the Zubats!" The Rattatas use Quick Attack and hit Luis's Charmander. "Ben, go! Protect Charmander!" I think they are trying to take away our light source... I pay attention to the battlefield and see a Zubat gets hit by Thunder Shock and faints. Then I hear a huge crash and turn around to see the Onix on the ground. Rylee turns to us and waves cheerfully. "Good job!"

Team Rocket: "Rattata use Quick attack!" "Ben use Bubble!" The Rattatas go to attack Ben and Charmander, but all get hit by bubble. "Good, Job Ben!" All the zubats have now fainted, so the rattatas are our only threat now. Luis: "Pikachu, use Thunder shock!" All of the rattatas avoid the attack except for 1. Only 4 Rattatas left! Rylee: "Bulbasaur Vine whip!" Bulbasaur hits a Rattata, and it faints. "Yeah, now Bubble again!" I take out two Rattatas, and Luis's charmander takes out the last one, with a scratch attack. "Yeah, we did it!" Luis: "Wooo!" Rylee: "Good job, Bulbsaur!" Team rocket looks at us confused. Team rocket Grunt: "They are stronger than we thought! Should the group leader handle this?" The other grunts nod. "Group leader?" A grunt then walks forward and stares at us. He gives us a malicious look. Rylee: "Is that supposed to intimidate us?"

Rylee looks at Luis, nods, and does the same thing to me. We nod back to show that we weren't intimidated and stare back at the grunt. But, I was a bit intimidated by him because he was kinda tall, and I could see some of his muscles bulging from his arms. "You don't scare us!" I start to sweat once again... like a lot. The grunt then scoffs and sends out 3 pokemon. We didn't know what they were, so we use our pokedex, and it turns out he had a Sandslash, a Raticate, and a Golbat.

Group Leader: "Golbat, use Haze! Sandslash use Dig! And Raticate use Quick attack!" The haze rolled in, and it made it difficult for us to see what his pokemon were doing or going to attack from. We then see Pikachu get hit and slam into the cave walls. Luis: "Pikachu!" The haze is now all around us. "Ok, we're gonna need every pokemon we have..." I send out Buzz and Vee. Rylee sends out her Jigglypuff and Nidoran♀️, and Luis sends out his Butterfree. Wait- when did Rylee get a Nidoran♀️ and when did Luis get a Butterfree? Never mind, his metapod probably evolved.

Raticate then pops up and strikes Rylee's Nidoran♀️, which causes it to faint. Luis: "Dang it!" I then pick up ben and hold him up towards golbat. "Ben, use Bubble!" Ben shoots the bubbles, and they hit Golbat. Luis: "Everyone, get back!" We all run behind Luis and his butterfree. Group leader: "Golbat Theif! Sandtomb Sandslash! Raticate use Quick attack!" Sandslash then traps all of us together, unable for us to move much. Golbat then strikes me and runs back to the group leader. "Hey! That hurt!" Group leader: "That was a warning." Then Raticate hits Butterfree, leaving it with low health. The haze is still rolling in, and now it's difficult to see where anything or anyone is at. Luis: "Now Butterfree! Use Gust!"

Most of the haze then goes flying back at the grunts. The opponents pokemom takes damage and gets flung into the wall. "Yeah, now Ben Bubble!" Ben then releases bubbles onto team rocket using Gust. Rylee: "Bulbasaur, use sleep powder!" Team Rocket and their pokemon then fall asleep. The sand tomb then descends, and we are free. Luis: "Yeah, Butterfree!" We all cheer, that we won. Rylee: "Now lets get outta here before they wake up. I nod." We all run past them and go further out into the cave.

"It's a real miracle that Charmander is still alive... if its fire was to get put out, then it would've died..." Both Luis and Rylee looked shocked. Luis: "What do you mean?" "What i said is what i mean." The sand tomb could've easily tooken out the flame on charmander's tail. Rylee: "Oh..." We just continue to walk through the cave without saying anything. Not until an Onix breaks through the wall. It notices us and goes to leave, but Luis throws a pokeball, and he catches it. Luis: "Alright." He goes and picks it up. Rylee: "Nice."

After a little while, we end up finding an open spot in the cave. Some zubats were there but flee when they see the light from Charmander's tail. (If zubats see...) Rylee: "Thos looks like a good spot to rest." Luis and I agree with Rylee. Luis: "Well, we have some oran berries that we collected before getting to Pewter city." Luis and I pull our bag of Oran berries from our backpacks and heal up our pokemon, along with us eating. Rylee: "Thank you... anyways, when we're done, i say we leave immediately. It's getting dark outside..." She pulls out her phone from her pocket, and the time shows: 5:57. How long have we even been in here?!
