Ethan's Pokemon Journey!

Pixy's Peak

Koga: "I see." We both return our pokemon into our Pokeballs and look at one another. We both have our final pokemon. "I won't lose to you." I grab Pixy's pokeball and throw it forward. The pokeball hits Max's invisble wall and Pixy comes out, hanging onto it for dear life. Koga: "Well i have lost too many time today. I won't let myself lose again." He throws a pokeball and a Nidoking comes out...

OF COURSE IT IS A NIDOKING!

Now, now. I understand that just because I battled one once before and I almost lost to it, doesn't mean it is gonna be more difficult to beat, but... let's just say the odds are against me right now.

"Wh-what?!" Koga laughs. Koga: "Why so shocked Ethan?" Pixy looks at me and nods. Right, I gotta stay calm. I take a deep breath in before releasing the breath out. "It don't matter. I'll still beat you... Somehow." Nidoking flashes a smile and gives a battle cry. Koga: "Now use Brick Break." "Dodge it!" Nidoking then stomps forward and then swings his hand at the walls, which then break. Pixy avoids the attack anyways and lands on the acid, wincing at the damage. Koga: "This battle is already over. It will take just a few more steps in the acid and your Ninetales will faint." I sigh. "That's true... but...-" I look up at Pixy who then gives a confident smile. Huh? A smile...? I pause for a moment before I smile back. If she doesn't want to give in, then i won't either. We will beat them both, together! "-But, we won't give up." Koga: "Suit yourself. Now use Sludge Bomb!"

Well then... there is only one way we can win this. And it was what Pixy is known for in my team. "Pixy, use- Roar!" Pixy stands her ground and gives a Roar, the Sludge Bomb goes flying back at Nidoking, and Nidoking himself slams into a wall. Koga: "Huh?" "Were not done yet! Pixy now use Iron Tail! Get your way to Nidoking!" Pixy jumps up and slams her tail down before doing a back-lit. She does this one more time before she leaps for Nidoking. Koga: "Brick Break!" "Pixy use Iron Tail!" Both pokemon clash at eachother, both using as much strength that they have to break past their attacks. "Now Roar!" With one Roar, Nidoking gets sent flying back, breaking through the invisible wall. Pixy finally lands on some actual ground and charges forward. Koga: "You asked for it- Earthquake!" "Pixy jump!" Nidoking slams his feet to the ground and a Earthquake erupts through the gym. Pixy jumps from wall to wall, avoiding the earthquake below. "Now use Flamethrower!" Pixy shoots her Flamethrower at Nidoking. Koga: "Megahorn!" Within reach of Pixy Nidoking goes to Jab his horn at Pixy, which hits. "Pixy!" Pixy then jumps back weakly, and Nidoking stands up also weak.

Koga: "How can this be? Pixy was weakened earlier-" I shrug. "I dunno, but she has always been strong willed." Nidoking then charges at Pixy, and with her immediate reaction, she avoids Nidoking and lands in her four feet onto the floor. "Now whip your tail with Iron Tail!" Koga: "Brick Break!" Pixy then spins quickly after jumping, slamming every single one of her 9 tails... into Nidoking's face. Nidoking then stumbles back before crashing into the ground. Pixy falls over, and lands onto Nidoking. She gets up and gives a proud cry. Koga runs over to check on Nidoking. Koga: "Well, well, well..." Did Pixy do it? Koga: "You beat me." Pixy and I then immediately start jumping into the air. "Pixy! You did it!" Pixy leaps over to me and I pet her. "We won, and its all thanks to you." Pixy smiles, and turns to Koga as he walks forward. Koga: "Ethan. I believe this Badge is yours. You have deserved it." He opens his hands and the Soul Badge lays there. "Thank you." I grab it and pin it to my Jacket with the rest of my badges. "This makes badge number 6." Pixy raises her paw up and I high five her.

"Thanks for the good battle." Koga: "Don't mention it." I nod. "Ok." He then fixes his scarf. Koga: "No. I mean literally. Do you know how embarrassing it is to lose to 3 10 year old children? In a row?" I pause, and look at him blankly. "H-huh?" He then pats me shoulder, and starts laughing. Koga: "Ha ha! I'm just messing around with you Ethan." I give a sheepish laugh. Koga: "Now, you go an have a good day." "I will, Bye then... Oh, thats right. Is there, by chance, a short-cut to get back to the entrance?" Koga looks at me confused. Koga: "You talking about the maze?" "Yup." Koga shakes his head with a smile. Koga: "Nope. You gotta go all the way back."
