Explosive Pokeballs

The Next Morning...

*Yawwwnn...*

I squint my eyes open. "Why am i..? Why am i laying on the floor?" I get up a bit and notice that we all fell asleep on the floor. "Huh... I guess we got knocked out during the middle of our game." Vee yawns and after getting out Rylee's grasp, she stretches her back. "Morning." Vee turns and blinks at me half awake.

I stand up and after sliding my jacket on I pick up my pokemon's pokeballs. I think i should get some training in.

...

I walk out of the Pokemon Center and take a deep breath in. I have a feeling today us going to be a good day.

"I wonder where the best training spot around here is-"

BOOM!

A loud explosion nearby causes the ground around to shake and crumble some. I then look around quickly at the sky. Some smoke arises from a building not very far away.

I quickly start to run around a corner or two and go to check out what happened.

"*Panting* H-huh?" Two Team Rocket grunts are running with a bag in their hands. Behind them are 2 Officer Jenneys and a regular Cop.

Officer Jenny 1: Stop in the name of the law!

One of the grunts then toss a pokeball upwards and a Voltorb comes out. Team Rocket Grunt: "Now use Self-destruct!"

Since I was nearby I throw out Pixy. "Lets go- Use Roar Pixy!" Pixy unleashes a Roar and sends the Voltorb flying back at the Grunts who fall down and explode with Self-destruct... "Did i... Did i just kill someone?!" The three officers then get the Two grunts and the bag. The two grunts groan.

Officer Jenny 1: "Thank you trainer. That was some quick thinking." "Yeah... it was, wasn't it." Officer Jenny 2: "Dang it- We have a problem." We all turn to the other Offcier Jenny who looks onto the bag. Officer Jenny 2: "We mustve gotten the wrong group because the pokeballs aren't inside!" "What happened?" Officer Jenny 2: "A few Team Rocket grunts went into a Pokemon center and blew it up with some Electrodes after stealing some Pokemon."

"Thats awful." Officer Jenny 1: "Yeah, it is. Sone residence could have gotten hurt from the explosion from what we could tell. We had to leave as soon as we could so we didnt see any of the damage they caused."

"Lemme check- My friends could be part of the pokemon center!" The officer shouts at me to not go but I ignore them anyways. After a minute of running I get to the Pokemon center which is on Fire with some of it crumbling and cracking. Some Fire Fighters are using Squirtles to douse the fire.

"Oh no!" I panick, not sure what I should do. I can't go in there- It's too dangerous! Rylee: "Ethan! Oh, you're alive!" I turn to my side as I hear Rylee's voice. She runs up to me with Luis behind me. "Oh, you guys are safe-" Luis: "Yeah- Luckily Vee woke us up when she saw Team Rocket earlier."

Vee nods from Rylee's head. Rylee: "Mhm. We were able to get out with everything luckily. Also where did you go?" "I went to do some extra training but... i then heard the explosion." Pixy nods. Luis: "Yeah... as much as i wish i could help- I don't think we can." Rylee: "Yeah... we either go to the closest Pokemon Center or we head to Cinnabar Island on our pokemon."

"Man..." I pop my fingers as I think. Cinnabar Island wouldn't be a bad idea as there is a Gym but... I really just wanted to train today. Luis: "Not to push you but, we don't have all day." Pikachu and Vee nod as they give a Cry in agreement.

"Ugh- Fine. Let's just go to Cinnabar Island." Everyone nods in approval and we head to the beach.

Rylee: "Lapras go!" Luis: "Gyarados lets go!" "Ben- Use Surf!" We all send out our Sirf pokemon and when they land on the water, we hop on. Rylee: "I'll have to come back someday, i wasn't able to battle the Gym Leader earlier." "Yeah. Thats true." I then notice on the side of my arm a darker shade of my skin tone.

That's right... I am sun burned.

Luis: "Gyarados Surf!" Rylee: "Lets go Lapras!" "Follow them." We use Surf on our pokemon and ride, side by side as we make our distance from the beach.

...

"Ben Careful-" Ben surfs to the side and goes around a small Whirlpool. A Seadra then pops up from the Whirlpool and looks at us. Other pokemon, full of curiosity, pop up from the ocean waters and look at us. Rylee: "By the looks of it, the pokemon around here probably haven't seen a human before." Luis: "Yeah... their gazing is kinda weird." We all then look up as a Magikarp jumps up high, using Splash.

"Woah..." I did not know Magikarps knew how to jump. Vee then finds another one leaping into the air and she tackles it, which makes the Magikarp flop elsewhere. "... So when do you think we will get to Seafoam Island?" Rylee: "Ummm, one second. Let me check."
