Ethan's Pokemon Journey!

Feeling another loss

I walk into the gym. It's pitch black. "Um...hello? Is this the Saffron City gym?" Lights turn on, and I look up. On a floating platform, a woman gets up from her chair. Sabrina: "About time you have gotten here..." Vee and I look at each other confused. "Um... well, i came for a -" Sabrina cuts me off. Sabrina: "A pokemon battle, yes, yes, i know." More lights turn on around us, and I look around as I feel the ground starts to move. I then noticed I was on a floating platform. I start to float near her, and other platforms around us form the battlefield. "Woah... that was so cool!" Vee jumps off and goes onto the battlefield. "You wanna battle, Vee?" Vee nods. Sabrina then smiles. Sabrina: "A Eevee... Then I'll choose - You!" A pokeball floats onto the battlefield, and Slowpoke with a weird thingy on its tail comes out. "Why is the slowpoke standing up?" Sabrina: "This isn't a Slowpoke. It's a Slowbro, the evolution of slowpoke." So it gotten bitten on the tail, and it evolved?

"Well, i might still be a water type! Vee use Buzzy Buzz!" Sabrina: "Protect." Vee's attack gets blocked. Sabrina: "Disable! Then use Psychic!" "Vee dodge it!" Vee's Buzzy Buzz then gets disabled, and even after running, it gets caught from psychic. Sabrina: "Now bring it closer, and use Focus Punch." Vee gets pulled closer, and after getting punched, Slowbro lets go of Vee, and she flops onto the floor. "What the..." I look up at Sabrina. "This isn't over yet! Go, Pixy!" Pixy comes out and charges at the Slowbro. Sabrina: "Now use Psychic." "Not this again - Pixy use confuse ray!" A bright light shines, and before Slowbro can act,  it becomes confused. "Alright, Pixy! Now use Flamethrower!"

Sabrina only stands there as Slowbro takes the damage. Sabrina: "Return. Now go Hypno." A Hypno comes out. "Now use Flamethrower!" Sabrina: "Use future sight." Flamethrower gets sucked up by a wormhole of some sort before it disappears. "What? Huh... Pixy use Roar!" Hypno goes flying back into its pokeball, and Sabrina's Mr. Mime comes out. "I can't hit it most likely because of its invisible walls... Confuse Ray!" Sabrina: "Mr. Mime, Safeguard." The light from confuse ray disappears, and Mr. Mime starts to charge at Pixy. "Gotcha! Now- Flamethrower!" The Flamethrower attack then hits Mr. Mime and it... fades away?

"Wait, where did Mr. Mime, go?" I look all around. Wait did Mr. Mime use Substitute? Sabrina: "Alakazam, now use Psychic!" Pixy gets hit by Psychic and falls down. "Wait, an Alakazam? But where is it..." I look up and see the floating alakazam. Wait, what? Sabrina: "Confused?" I shake slightly nervously. Sabrina: "I see..." "I'm not done yet! Flora, go! Use Acid!" Right before Flora can shoot the acid at Alakazam, the future sight attack opens up again, and the Flamethrower strikes Flora. "Flora!" Flora had fainted. "B-but... is that how future sight works?" I return Flora and send out Ben. "I'll still win this somehow! Ben use Water Gun!" Sabrina: "Teleport, and shock wave." Water gun misses, and Alakazam teleport right next to Ben before using Shock wave. Ben stumbles back, Paralyzed. "Dang it!" Sabrina: "Now let's finish this with Psychic!" No! "Protect!" Ben doesn't protect itself from the Paralyze and gets hit by Psychic. Ben falls over, fainted.

"I... lost?" I return Ben, and look down. I don't think I lost before... Wait, actually i lost against Luis before, now that i think about it. Sabrina: "Maybe you can come back when your battle skills have improved?" I nod and run out of the gym. How did my friends beat her, and not me? Not only that, but how is she so strong?

Luis: "Hey Ethan! Did ya win?..." I stop in my tracks as I see my friend wave to me, I turn and run. I gotta heal my pokemon. "Sorry, no time to waste!"

I run into the pokemom center and give them to Nurse Joy. "H-here." I start to catch my breath. Rylee: "Ethan?" I turn around and see Rylee in the new outfit I bought her. She had the Tawny Brown Coat, with the black turtle Mecklenburg underneath it. She also added an orange and brown scarf and a peanut brown colored hat that seemed to fit the clothing. Rylee smiles. Rylee: "How do i look?" Beautiful... "Good." I give a thumbs up. Rylee: "Thank you." After that, we just sit down and wait for my pokemon to get healed up.

Nurse Joy: "Your pokemon have made fully recovery." I walk up to the desk and take my pokeballs. "Thank you..." Nurse joy nods and starts to walk away. "Wait, nurse joy. I have a question." Nurse Joy looks back and comes back to the desk. Nurse joy: "Chansey, can you give the other trainers their pokeballs?" The chansey behind her nods and runs into the healing room. Nurse joy: "Sorry for that. Anyways, what is it?" "Is there a place where i can do some special training or... a place to teach my pokemon new attacks?" Nurse Joy pauses. Nurse Joy: "Yes. Do you have google Maps?" I nod and pull out my phone. Nurse Joy: "... Ok, now let me point out the location."

A few minutes later...

Me and Rylee walk out of the pokemon center. Rylee: "So are you going to check out the Tm Shop, or go to the Fighting Dojo first?" I shrug. "Whichever one is closer." I check my phone. "It is the Tm Shop." Rylee: "Well, i guess that would work out. You then could try out the new attacks at the Dojo." That's true. "Yeah, i could do that." Now the real question is: What is a Tm? And how do you use one?
