Ethan's Pokemon Journey!

Enter: The Pokémon League.

A few days later...

Approximately 7 or 8 days to be exact.

...

"So... this is it, huh?" Me and my friends stand before the huge Stadium that sits on the top of Victory Road.

Many trainers behind and infront of us head to the League.

Luis: "We finally made it..."

"We actually made it..." Luis then turns to me. Luis: "Did you think we werent gonna make it?" I shrug. "Yeah. Pretty much, to be honest."

We then suddenly spot another group of people coming in from a trail, west of the Stadium.

"Where did they come from?!" Me and Luis looks at the people confused like me, all except Pyrafox and Rjpro.

Rjpro: "Oh. Trainers of Johto." I look at Pyrafox and Rjpro. Me & Luis: "Johto?!"

Pyrafox: "Ah- I forgot to mention that this League is shared with those in Johto, which us technically the neighboring region next to Kanto."

Vee and I look at Pyrafox, a bit nervous.

"Fuck-"

I then stare at the people entering.

I trained my team and even taught them new moves... but will it even be enough?! There are possibly new pokemon and strategies that others may have from another region!

I then see a huge shadow fly above us and a voice catches the group's attention.

Rylee: "Heeey!! You made it!" We all look up amd wave excitedly.

We got the whole group!

Perfect!

Me, Luis, Pyrafox and Rjpro then watch as Rylee flies down the Dragonite. Looking at her, she seemed to change her style into a more trainer-like style, showing us that she is serious about this.

She walks to me, her eyes gleaming with joy. "Hey!" Rylee: "You made it." I wince. "Did you really think my leg would slow me down?" Rylee shakes her head.

Rylee: "No- no- But I was just a bit worried anyways." Pyrafox: "Well he is doing well. Now then-"

Pyrafox: "You ready Rylee?"

Rylee: "I'm ready! I trained and caught some pokemon, so wtch out boys!" Rjpro: "We will."

We all catch up quickly and head into the stadium, excited for the Tournament. But also REALLY nervous as not everyone here is here to participate.

I make a fist and squeeze it tightly as we near the check-in list.

Luis: "We are next..." Luis, Me and Rylee nervously scoot forward as one of the competitors move away from the next people: us.

Meanwhile Pyrafox and Rjpro give us a thumbs up, as we look back nervously, sweat dripping down our back.

How are they so content?!

League Worker: Hello. You here to sign up into the League?

Luis: "Uhhh... Yes, all three of us." He smiles nervously and the worker grabs her clipboard on the side.

League Worker: "One at a time please." Me and Rylee jump back immediately and keep Luis infront.

Luis: "Seriously? Ugh, fine. Um... My name is Luis."

League Worker: "Alright... Name and... How many badges?" Luis, me and Rylee then wince.

We didn't get the 8th badge!!!

Luis: "We... I, er, have 7... heh heh..."

League Worker: "Very well. Now we'll need your Trainer ID."

Luis: "Huh...? Oh, wait we don't need 8 Badges?" The Work shakes her head.

League Worker: "For the past 2 years the Gym Leader of Viridian City has not arrived, nor any battles have been recorded. Therefore only 7 Badges are needed for anyone to sign in."

League Worker: "We reallyneew a new Gym Leader..."

Luis: "Phew- Alright... Now my trainer ID is..."

Luis: "Wait... what if we never got one?"

League Worker: "Well we can make an account for one. Many trainers forget so this happens often."

Luis: "Oh. Alright-"

Luis quickly makes his ID and once his registration to the League is done, I step forward and do the same. Luis helps me.

"My name is Ethan... I have 7 Badges." I pull my Jacket open and show her my 7 shiny Badges.

League Worker: "Give me a few seconds..." She writes my name in and checks 7 out of the 8 Badges.

League Worker: "Trainer ID?"

"I actually don't have one... but like Luis, O can make a number up, right?" Vee hops onto the desk and the worker grabs her clipboard and smiles with a nod.

"I want... 104156." She quickly writes it down and pets Vee. League Worker: "Alrigjt. Your signed in. I'll make your Trainer ID later, until then, bye."

I grab Vee and me and Luis head into the lobby where I see 2 stations with Nurse Joy's working and healing trainers pokemon.

Luis: "Man... i'm so nervous."

"Me too." We sit down in a corner and wait until the whole group catches up and meets us in the lobby. Many trainers and their Pokemon fill the lobby, making it almost impossible to see anyone if someone was walking to you.

Rjpro: "Don't sweat it. Stay calm and you should do fine in the league." Me, Rylee and Luis smile sheepishly and look down. Rylee: "Yeah... I guess."

Pyrafox: "Hmm... You'll get used to it. Now then. We technically don't have to stay here, in the lobby I mean."

Pyrafox: "They just wait until 2 to tell everyone the rules and the match-ups."

Luis: "So, its not important?" Pyrafox: "No, it is. But not the rules necessarily. It's just the basics."

Rylee stands up and Vee hops onto her shoulder. Rylee: "Then, some should stay and the others train. We can... we can take turns?"

I stand up along with Luis. Luis: "Brilliant." "Yeah- What he said." Rjpro stands up. Rjpro: "Alright. Then, I'll stay here. Good luck."

We nod and leave. Pyrafox: "I"m actually gonna follow them. I gotta make sure that their Blastoise and Gyarados is under controll when they Mega Evolve."

Rjpro: "Oh, Alright."
