Ethan's Pokemon Journey!

A Gloomy Morning

"Dang it -" I look at the mirror and look at my shirt, which is now wet from my hair. I open the restroom door and see both Luis on his phone, laying down, and Rylee playing with our pokemon. Both look up at me. Rylee: "Oh, hi Ethan." Luis sits up. Luis: "Well it my turn next." Luis grabs a towel and his clothing to change into and walks past me into the restroom. "Sorry if i took long in the shower." Rylee: "No, it's fine. I didn't know you liked to sing in the shower, though." I start to turn red. "Yeah, i do that sometimes. I forget often that i am sometimes taking a shower." Vee then runs to me before climbing up onto my shoulder. Vee rubs my cheek. "Sorry for taking a while." The rest of my pokemon then Tackle me to the ground. "Hey, come on, guys - Hey that tickles -" Rylee: "Come on. Get off of him." All of my pokemon listen, besides Flora, who slowly turns to Rylee and gives a content smile. Rylee: "F-flora?" Flora then hops off of me and runs to Rylee. Rylee: "Don't do that- You scared me." I sit up with my legs crossed. "I don't know why she is this Creepy. I mean, look at her! She is adorable!" Flora smiles. Rylee: "I'm aware..."

After talking for a while, me and Rylee go to bed.

The Next Morning...

I wake up to awful smell, it smells as if someone trashed up the whole place with garbage. I sit up and clench my nose. "What is that smell?!" I then notice my pokemon sound asleep except for Flora, who is missing. "Flora?!" I then see a small, blue pokemon with some cherry looking balls on it, hop out of the restroom. "What the heck are you!?" I grab my pokedex and use it on the strange pokemon. "A Gloom? Dang it stinks -" I then notice in my pokedex that Flora's spot was now replaced by the Gloom. "Wait! Your Flora?!" The Gloom then tilts its head and smiles. "Immq take that as a yes." I grab my pokeball and return her before opening the window. "Finally... fresh air." Did Flora evolve while everyone was asleep? I then around to see my friends wake up. Luis: "Why does it smell bad in here?" Rylee: "What is that smell?" They turn to me, and the open window. "Hey! Don't jump to conclusions! It wasn't me!" Rylee and Luis look at me confused. Rylee: "We didn't say it was you. We were just gonna ask if you knew why it smells bad in here." I sigh. "Oh... ok."

After explaining the situation, we all decide to get dressed and go for Vermilion City. There is a ship called the S.S. Anne, and it only comes there once a year.

So we grab something to eat for breakfast and head on the road. Rylee: "So is this Route 5?" I nod. "Yup. I pretty sure that Poxy was caught somewhere around here." I then point to a bush next to a tree. Luis: "A Bush?" "Yeah... well, at least i think it was this bush." We all look up as Shadow falls above us. A Pidgeot, a Pidgeotto, and a few Podgey's fly away. Luis: "A Pidgeot...woah! Pidgey is gonna evolve into that?!" Rylee: "It had some pretty feathers." We all then glance at each other. "Right... um, let's get back to getting to Vermillion City." My friends agree with me, and we start to walk south.

"Vee, wait up!" Vee runs ahead of us and waits for us at a cliff. When we catch up, we see a huge city. Luis: "Vermillion City?" I nod. "At least i think it is." So we head down to Vermillion City and get to the gate. "The gate should be open..." Vee starts banging on the gate. Rylee: "Um..." I start to do the same, but I end up hurting myself. "Dang it! Weak noodle arms!" I grab my wrist and look up at the gate. Rylee: "i dont think that's gonna work..." We then hear a voice seemingly shout at us. Not our names, but we could tell the person was talking about us. We turn around and see a Boy about our age run towards us. ???: "Saffron City is closed right now. If you're looking for Vermilion City, go through these tunnels." The boy then points to a tunnel that leads underground. Rylee: "You sure?" Luis: "Wait, this isn't Vermillion City?!" "Saffron city?" The boy looks at us, not sure on which one to answer. ???: "Well... i uh..  i gotta go. I'll see you guys another time." The boy then waves and runs into the tunnel. Rylee: "Was it just me, or did he look familiar?..." Me and Luis start to think. Luis: "Oh wait! He was one of the kids who also got a pokemon along with us!" He was?... Oh yeah - "I remember that now." We stay silent until Vee runs into the tunnel suddenly. Rylee: "Vee, wait up!" Do you always have to be moving Vee?
