Haikuan spent a few days just looking over the DNA samples he collected. To keep his other coworkers from looking into this matter, he used his home office and mini laboratory he has set up. He always made sure that he had no chemicals or anything dangerous at home, and he kept it locked as he didn't want Fanxing to just go in as he pleases. Being a little toddler, he could get curious so it was only smart for Haikuan to be cautious.

Looking at the samples, he found it all quite interesting and he was even stunned by his findings. The main samples were identical to the doppelgänger samples. Some say that twins have the same DNA structure but they actually have some differences. Their differences would be they have different fingerprints. So looking at the DNA of Xiao Zhan and Wei Wuxian, theirs matched identically, they even had the same fingerprints and it is known that no one person has the same fingerprints. So to see that the doppelgängers have the same as their counterparts, it was beyond what he could comprehend.

Thinking about it all, it may seem that the doppelgängers were the same person as their counterparts, just like what a clone may be. After putting his things in a safe place, Haikuan sat down for a bit to think over some things. The doppelgängers were from a different alternative reality. Haikuan pieced together that it may be possible of a multiverse but it was a stretch. Since he had the Wen siblings and Xichen staying with him at his place, he decided he could share his findings with them.

"Haikuan," Wen Ning greeted and Wen Qing was beside him, "how are you?"

"I am fine," Haikuan replied, "thanks for watching Fanxing for me for a bit."

"It's not a problem. He is a good kid,"Wen Qing said.

"So I just got the results from those DNA samples I took from everyone, I found something really interesting," Haikuan said as he sat down with the Wen siblings and Xichen. Before he could speak more, Yibo and the others had come to visit as they had some questions and wanted to know if Haikuan found anything.

"You guys came at the right time. I just finished looking at the DNA samples and I wanted to share what I found. Though, after my findings, these are just theories I have thought of so nothing is finalized," Haikuan said, "feel free to give your opinions and thoughts and don't hesitate to ask questions if anything sounds confusing."

"Alright, so what did you find?" Wen Qing asked.

"I will try to explain this to you so it's easier for you to understand. Looking at DNA, you should know that we inherit from our parents but each person has their own unique genetic structure. Siblings can have similar genetic structures but the DNA will have some differences to tell them apart, and even when it comes to fingerprints, no one person has identical fingerprints, not even twins...are you with me so far?" Haikuan explained.

"Yes," Yibo said.

"Even though we don't have such advanced technology, I think we can understand it," Wuxian said, "I am following along anyway."

"We are okay," Xichen said and the others nodded in agreement.

"So as I was saying, looking at the samples I found that the samples from the alternate timeline are identical to the samples to those of this timeline. Same genetic makeup and DNA sequence. Even identical fingerprints. Nothing like this has ever existed before and now there is evidence of this. My theory is way out there, but I thought of the whole multiverse thing and even the idea of clones. Though clones, I am not sure if they would have the same genetic structures or not," Haikuan explained.

Xiao Zhan and Yibo seemed to be the only two who had an idea of what Haikuan was talking about, "so you are saying that for example, Wei Wuxian and I are the same person, basically?" Xiao Zhan asked.
