Ch. 50

Xiao Zhan and Yibo just returned home with Haikuan and Zhan's siblings after a nice lunch. It was also a good time for Yibo and Zhan with the help of Haikuan to inform Zhan's siblings of their current guests that have been residing with them for a while. They have already met Wen Qing and A'Yuan but Wen Ning wanted to keep away from the public eye as much as possible as he was not from this world and seeing a walking corpse would freak out a lot of people compared to Wangji and Wuxian's world.

Xuan Lu also met Wangji already and was already intrigued by him. Even though he looked so much like Yibo their personalities were very different. Yibo was the quiet type of course but a bit shameless to say the least compared to Wangji. Though, the only time Wangji was shameless was when he was alone with his partner behind closed doors in a bedroom. Wei Wuxian was the only one to really see that side of Wangji and he was very blessed for that.

When they were told about Wei Wuxian, Xuan Lu and Zhou Cheng felt their hearts break. Xiao Zhan told them about Wei Wuxian without disclosing anything that was too personal but his siblings knew that Wei Wuxian was kicked out of his adopted home and wasn't really treated like a part of the family. They only one who really showed him an ounce of care and love was his Shijie and she died for him. Xuan Lu was warned that she looked just like her and Wei Wuxian may not know how to respond around her. Xuan Lu kept that in mind and didn't want to burden him too much. If it was too much, she would step away for a bit until Wuxian was ready to see her again. She just hoped it wasn't the case.

From where she and Zhou Cheng were standing, they could see outside the glass door to the backyard. They saw clear as day, the faces of Xichen, Wangji and Wuxian. They then turned to Zhan, Yibo, and Haikuan. They were shocked to see just how identical they were. Aside from the long hair, they looked like they could pass off as their identical twins.

"That is insane," Zhou Cheng said, "I thought I was looking at A'Zhan for a moment."

"It's crazy I know," Xiao Zhan said, "by the way, is your husband okay with the baby at the moment?"

"He is," Xuan Lu said, "he is finally coming around about being home more. I had to sit down and have a good talk with him."

"Good," Zhan said, "I'll still kick his ass if I have to."

"There is no need," Xuan Lu said, "can we go say hello?"

"Yes, remember they are Wei Wuxian, Lan Wangji and Lan Xichen," Yibo said.

They nodded and then Xiao Zhan led them outside, "hey guys," he greeted, "I thought I'd finally get the time to introduce you to my step siblings, Xuan Lu and Zhou Cheng."

"Hello," Xuan Lu and Zhou Cheng said together.

"Nice to meet you," Lan Xichen said.

"Like wise," Wangji said and looked at Wuxian who was a bit shocked at the moment, "Wei Ying, are you okay?"

Wuxian let out a deep breath and nodded, "ugh, yeah," he said and looked at the two, "nice to meet you."

"By the way, don't let Zhou Cheng scare you. He always looks angry even when he's in his best mood," Xiao Zhan told them.

"Do you want your legs broken?" Zhou Cheng asked him.

Wei Wuxian looked at the too and blinked a couple times. He was hit was serious Deja vu. Jiang Cheng would say that same thing to him all the time, especially when Wuxian teased him. Wuxian grinned, "he can't handle teasing either?" He asked.

"Not even close," Xiao Zhan replied, "why?"

"Jiang Cheng is the same way...though he rolls his eyes when he has had enough," Wuxian said.

"He does the too," Xiao Zhan said.

"As long as he doesn't have a purple whip, I am okay with being around him," Wuxian said.

"Don't worry, he may look grumpy but he can't hurt a fly," Xiao Zhan said.

"That's it!" Zhou Cheng scowled and chased Xiao Zhan around the yard, "Xiao Zhan I'll show you how I hurt flies!"

Xuan Lu just shook her head and sighed, "sorry, they do that a lot."

"It's alright," Xichen said, "would you like to sit?"

"Of course," she said and sat down on the other side of Wei Wuxian.

Wuxian took a good look at her. She looked a lot like Yanli but her eyes were a different color. Her presence felt warm and comforting though, "Xiao Zhan told you?" Wuxian asked her.

"He did, and you don't have to talk about anything that makes you uncomfortable," Xuan Lu said.

Wuxian nodded, "thanks," he said an looked at Wangji. Lan Wangji took his hand from under the table to assure him that everything was fine.

"How is your son?" Xichen asked, "Xiao Zhan talks about him often."

"He is a sweet boy," Xuan Lu said, "he's a bit talkative but I think it's a good thing."

"Sure, as long as he is healthy," Xichen said.

Xuan Lu nodded and looked at her brothers, "A'Cheng, A'Zhan, will you two just cool it and get over here?"

Zhou Cheng stopped running which gave Xiao Zhan the opportunity to tackle him to the ground, "I win!" He said.

"I got distracted!" Zhou Cheng argued.

"Too bad," Xiao Zhan said and got up. He then went over to Yibo, "where did your brother go?"

"He went to the bathroom," Yibo said and grinned. He then leaned in to whisper, "he was having a hard time keeping his friend between his legs tame when Zhou Cheng was chasing you."

Xiao Zhan laughed, "can't they just talk about it already? A'Cheng likes him," he said quietly.

"I know, maybe we should try to get them to slip up today," Yibo said.

"Fine by me," Zhan said. He then looked at Wei Wuxian, "Wuxian, can you come here for a minute?"

Wei Wuxian nodded and went over to them, "What can I do for you?"

"Would you like to help us out with something?" Zhan asked.

"With what?" Wuxian asked.

"Our brothers have a thing for each other and we want to get them to confess somehow. Since we know you are good with being mischievous, we thought we'd ask for your help," Yibo said.

Wuxian grinned, "that sounds fun," he said, "you just need to find an opportunity to get them alone and keep them there...maybe lock them in a room together or something...or I can cast a truth spell on them at some point."

"Let's try the room thing first and if we cannot get them to cooperate we will use the truth spell," Xiao Zhan said.

"Okay, let's try to set up something," Yibo said.

"While you two do that, why don't I continue keeping them busy with conversations," Wuxian suggested.

"Sure," Zhan said, "we will come out when we are ready."

Wuxian nodded and went back to his seat. Wangji looked at him, "what is it?"

Wuxian smiled and took Wangji's hand. He then started to write characters on his hand. Wangji nodded and grinned as he was curious how this would play out.

"If this works, we can try this with Wen Qing and Xichen-Ge," Wuxian whispered to him. Wangji nodded as he was all for it.
