~*Wei Wuxian's POV*~

I do not understand why I always ends up in situations like this. Situations where I have to be the bad guy to save people I love. Before the location spell was done on Lan Zhan, I was visited by someone. They played off as Baoshan but I knew it was not her so I played along. How did I know it wasn't her? She said she can take me to her mountain. She asked me now of all times too. Why would I leave now when Xichen was missing and Lan Zhan needed me most? I had to go with them though because I knew something was up and I needed answers. I said to let me deal with the spell first. They abided by my request. After that spell, I wanted nothing more than to lay beside Lan Zhan and be by his side, help him find Xichen and work out everything, but that wasn't the case. I did for the most part try to comfort him but I had to try and push him away. I know something was wrong and it involved me, and I will figure it out, even if I have to push Lan Zhan aside to save him. I will do everything in my power to get back to him safely.

So after he left with Yibo and Haikuan, the real Baoshan had left for a bit to attend some things. The fake one came to my room and took me with them. Where I was taken was not a mountain, but a lab. Standing there on the other side of a glass wall that even I could not get past, was Zanjin and Jin Guangyao. What was going on?

"What is going on?" I asked.

"The Zanjin that was with Xichen was someone with a spiritual appearance talisman," Jin Guangyao said, "even if Xichen got back to the others, it is you we wanted," Jin Guangyao said.

"How are you alive?" Wuxian asked.

"Zanjin," Jin Guanyao said, "Believe it or not, we are actually twins, unfortunately, he just doesn't have spiritual abilities like I do, but he knows people to help him and he got me back by making someone use a sacrifice summon to summon my soul back. I was lucky enough to have my original body back. Now that we have you, we will not be rash."

"I will be found eventually," Wuxian said, "I may have pushed them away from me, but Lan Zhan is no fool, he will see past it and use our bond to find me. So if you have plans, you are definitely stupid. Or maybe the real Baoshan will come for you. She is stronger than you both and myself."

"Believe me, we made sure that it is difficult to get you out," Jin Guangyao said, "We are in a lab hidden underground, and this glass is bullet proof for this world, I just used a talisman to enhance it so no magic can break it."

"Even if it is an immortal?" I asked.

"Yes, even if is an immortal, I was lucky to reach immortality upon my summoning, I sacrificed several people to do it and used resentful energy as a source, but I am immortal," Jin Guangyao said.

"You became a demon," I said, "Killing people to gain power, your prostitute of a mother must be really proud of you."

Jin Guangyao growled and pushed a button. The room soon lit up and it felt like I was being struck by lightning several times over. It was painful but I managed to get past it. I had to block my connection with Lan Zhan to make sure he doesn't feel the pain but eventually I won't be able to block it if they keep torturing me. He will feel it and he will use out bond to find me.

"That will teach you to keep your mouth from wandering," Jin Guangyao said, "You will do as I say or you will be tortured more."

"You should know that I would rather take the torture than do as I am told," I said, "I won't do or give you shit!"

"That's okay, torturing you will still give us what we want...which is your blood," Jin Guangyao said, "Plus, maybe it will get more of your friends to show up."

"They will not come for me, I basically pushed them away like I always do," I said, "It's just me."

"You forgot something Wei Wuxian," Jin Guangyao said, "I am not stupid. You just told me that You and Hanguang Jun are soul bonds and you have already completed that. If one dies, the other follows. No matter how much you try to lie and push them away, he will know it eventually. He loves you too much to not come for you. Back when I was still around before everything went down, Zewu Jun told me a lot. How much you hurt Hanguang Jun with your methods. How much you had little care or knowledge of his feelings for you. Hanguang Jun will come for you, I am sure of it."

The two left the room leaving me alone. I sighed and sat down against the ball of the glass cell I was in. I knew he was correct but with everything that happened, I have little faith in that. I wanted to help Lan Zhan find his brother, I want to be with him while he still recovers from that location spell. I want to love him so much, but I cannot. I did this to myself and it is how things will always be with me. I will always be alone.

"Wei Ying?" I heard Lan Zhan call out to me through our bond. I didn't respond, "Wei Ying, I know you can hear me. I know you are hiding something from me. Let me get you back. Let us work out our issues. I love you and I still want to marry you. You are my everything, Wei Ying. My brother is safe. Baoshan knows you were tricked but is there more to the story is there?"

I sighed, "there is and I will not tell you. I am doing this on my own as it is how things always go. I love you but I have to do this."

"When are you going to get it in your head!? You are not alone anymore Wei Ying! I am attached to you and if something happens to you, it will happen to me. I will find you even if you refuse to help me and I will punish you in our bed the moment we are alone!" He yelled through the bond.

I scrunched my eyes at how loud he was inside my head. I don't know why that last comment made me smile, he can't punish me any other way than a sexual way. It's his way of saying I am stupid and stubborn but he loved the hell out of me so I need to be taught a lesson to understand he was there too, "Lan Zhan, all I know is that I am in an underground lab and it involves Zanjin and Jin Guangyao. They want my blood. The two are twins and Zanjin used a sacrifice summon to get his brother back. They know that you will come for me and they are planning for that. So please be smart."

"I will, leave your bond open, I can find you through the bond. And do not forget we have the real Baoshan and she will get you out," Lan Zhan said, "remember what I said, it is you and me, Wei Ying. I love you and never do something like this again."

I sighed, "I love you too, and I am sorry. The person disguised as Baoshan came to me before the location spell...I only said those things afterwards to push you away...I am so sorry," I was in tears, "I hate myself for hurting you and it was never what I wanted. I wanted to be with you to find Xichen, to help you and support you like I was supposed to, but I felt there was something off and I had to leave. If something happens to me, just know that I know I am expecting it because I deserve it for being selfish and a jerk."

"Wei Ying," Lan Zhan said but I blocked him out. I left the bond open but I kept him from speaking to me anymore at the moment. I needed to be alone.
