Wei Wuxian actually couldn't stand or walk properly for at least three days after Wangji's "punishment". Yibo gave some pain medicine and some other things to help ease his discomfort, "I thought Zhan-Ge and I were bad," Yibo said.

Wuxian laughed, "Lan Zhan's way of punishing me for misbehaving," he said, "the pleasure is nice but when it's over and you can't move, you realize your partner is a beast."

"You asked for it," Wangji argued, "you know how to provoke me and there were moments where you begged for me. How can I say no?"

"Do you want to be on the receiving end someday?" Wuxian asked.

"No," Lan Wangji said.

"Then can you be more considerate of me, please?" Wuxian asked.

"I will, just do not provoke me when you know it will only make it worse," Wangji replied.

"You two are really interesting," Xiao Zhan said, "but even though having sex is fun, you should be mindful of comfort At least."

"I will," Wangji said.

After feeling a bit more relaxed, Wuxian took out that talisman he remembered about. It was the talisman that Jin Guangyao threw at Wen Qing and Wen Ning when the two escaped. Looking at it, Wuxian wondered if it was some type of portal talisman, "these runes on this talisman, some strokes are very common but some others I've never seen before. It's almost like it is some sort of ancient script," Wuxian said, "but Wen Ning said that Jin Guangyao threw this at them during their escape."

"It is hard to really say," Wangji said, "I imagine that you'd need the rest of your own scripts and notes to even really understand some of the talisman."

"Yes," Wuxian said, "that would come in handy. I have several books in my collection that I have yet to finish reading as there are some on ancient charms and spells. I remember one specifically had something on dimensional traversing. It sounds absurd I know but I could swear I had a book on it. I wish I had it."

"Did Jin Guangyao, perhaps get a hold of your notes?" Xiao Zhan asked.

"Even is he did, only I can access them. I have them in a pouch that is sealed and it can only be opened with a drop of my blood. It's a way to keep others from getting into my work. Plus these pouches are called Qiankun bags and are like dimensional storage. They hold a lot of space and can store almost anything. I have one that I tampered with so it can only work for me," Wuxian explained, "I am very secretive of my work. In the wrong hands it could be dangerous."

"It is possible that he might have similar books then?" Xiao Zhan suggested, "maybe he has some knowledge on talismans."

"Honestly, every cultivator is knowledgeable on basic talismans but being able to create new ones and make new charms are not only difficult but rare for anyone to take interest in," Wuxian explained.

"How did you come to liking it?" Xiao Zhan asked.

"I am not sure, really. I have always been interested in how things work and how to improve it. It can be as simple as making a fire talisman or something a little more complicated like making an array. I always like finding ways to improve the things around me. As I have breached GusuLan's protective barrier with just a simple talisman, I researched in their library on arrays. I found that even a protective barrier can have flaws. So I try to make something that can improve that," Wuxian explained, "that butterfly disperse talisman was what I used to break the ward and no one really questioned how I did it."

"I wanted to but I guess I never had the courage to," Wangji asked, "but now that I know this, I am sure you would like to know our current array's structure and how to improve it."

"Would that be okay?" Wuxian asked.

"I am sure it will. We can ask Xiongzhang," Wangji said.

"Right," Wuxian said, "well, for now all I can do is put this talisman away until I can figure something out. Unless some miracle happened and my scriptures just so happened to appear."

It was like a deity was listening upon their conversation. Just as Wuxian said that, a black Qiankun bag appeared on the nightstand beside Wei Wuxian with a note attached to it.

I found this but couldn't access it. Sect Leader Jiang had it along with your sword and Chenqing. I also have Bichen and will send the weapons shortly. I do not know how to bring you all back but this is the least I can do to help you return. I got these things that were in Jin Guangyao's hands. He and Su She are dead for their crimes. The cultivation world is still a mess but I do hope you return to us someday. I also got the talismans that Jin Guangyao used on you which is how I am able to send everything to you. I hope to see you again someday.

Your good friend,

Nie Xiong

Just as Wuxian finished reading it, Chenqing, Bichen, and Suibian all appeared in the room. Nie Huaisang had helped them get their things back. It was a step closer to getting back home. As much as Wuxian wanted to pick up Chenqing first, he picked up his sword first. He felt the familiar thrumming of energy emanating from his companion.

"Hello again my dear friend, I am sorry for leaving you behind," Wuxian said in a calm voice before he pulled the blade from its sheathe.

Wangji reached over and grabbed Bichen and smiled, "good to have you back," he said.

Wuxian put Suibian back in it's sheathe before turning to Chenqing and picking it up. He could feel the resentment radiating from it, "I wonder if I can cleanse this somehow? Instead of a ghost flute, it can be a spiritual flute. I do not necessarily want to go back to using resentful energy anymore now that I have a core again."

"Can you set Chenqing down in front of me?" Wangji asked.

Wuxian nodded and placed Chenqing on the bed in front of Wangji. Wangji then summoned his guqin and began to play Cleansing. After playing through the song twice, Chenqing had been cleared of the dark demonic energy, "it worked," Wuxian said, "I just need to cultivate it as a spiritual weapon."

"Mnn," Wangji nodded.

Wuxian then turned to the back and picked it up. He bit his finger to draw some blood and put it on the back to unseal it. Once he did, he had all of his materials back, "I have everything here...remind me to repay Nie Xiong for this," Wuxian said.

"We will," Wangji assured him, "I am glad you have your things but remember, do not overwork yourself. I will be very thorough with you on that."

"I know," Wuxian said, "I will try."
