Wei Wuxian was very relaxed at the moment. Lan Wangji had thoroughly sexed him out but in the best way possible. So much spiritual essence has been exchanged between the two that they felt that they merged or switched bodies several times. They felt as if they transcended to a new world. The dual cultivation helped the two calm down and relax. It helped suppress Wuxian's anxiety for a good while. He just felt so happy and content. Lan Wangji could feel through their bond, just how happy Wuxian truly was. It was all he wanted for him, was to be happy and relaxed. After everything that happened, all Wangji wanted was for Wuxian to rest and recover from the trauma he endured. He is still beating himself up and felt guilty for not just talking to Wangji in the first place before acting. Wangji felt it was going to take some time for him to recover from that.

The two did know that they had to talk to everyone else eventually. Since it was a new day, the two took a nice warm shower, not once wanting to keep their hands to themselves, before getting dressed into comfortable sweats and t-shirt again. They then made their way downstairs and it was only Baoshan, Yibo, and Zhan. Everyone else was back at Haikuans as it was the arrangements from the beginning. Once Wangji and Wuxian were ready, they would call everyone together again.

"Good morning you two," Baoshan greeted, "I see you two finally decided grace us with your presence and come out."

Wuxian blushed, "We apologize for that. Lan Zhan was actually just helping me," he explained.

"I know," Baoshan said, "soul-bonds are a wonderful thing."

"It is quite interesting," Wuxian said.

"Now, since it's just us here, I actually have a solution but it is something that you four will really need to sit and talk about. I am also talking with you four about this now before others are here because it is your choice, not theirs. I was actually going to suggest this when I first arrived, but it was put on hold because of the events that took place," Baoshan said.

"What?" Xiao Zhan questioned.

Baoshan explained, "Now this is actually something that is possible because you and Wei Ying are basically the same person and Yibo and Wangji are the same person. I have been cultivating for a long time and I have an immortal for a very long time as well. Something I can do is merge Wei Ying and Zhan into one being, and Yibo and Wangji into one being. You will keep the knowledge you all retained throughout your lives, but some of your appearance will change. For example, your hair would be long and you Xiao Zhan, you would gain silver eyes instead of keeping your brown eyes. Yibo is similar, with the long hair, and his eyes will be like Wangji's.

You two will also remain immortal as cultivation is bound to the soul. Yibo and Zhan could cultivate but since they are not originally from our world, they do not, but they could. It is a lot to think about. With immortality that you will keep, you can learn multidimensional travel so you can visit your family in Gusu, but also be able to continue to live in this world. Zhan and Yibo would also get to see our world. You still have the option to live with me at my mountain, even if you choose not to do the merge. The downside to Zhan and Yibo, you both will age differently and it could affect things with your families here. That is why this is something you need to talk about. I especially want Zhan and A'Ying to think it through carefully. Xiao Zhan does have a PHD in Psychiatry, but he will have A'Ying's memories of what he endured. All of it."

The four looked at each other and knew that it was a big decision to make and that they would have to discuss it, "We would not ask this of you, just know that," Wangji said, "If you agree though, I will accept as long as I still have Wei Ying by my side...and our named?"

Baoshan smiled, "You can keep all of your names. When you are here, you can be Yibo and Zhan, and when you are in the cultivation world, you will be Wei Ying and Lan Wangji."

Wuxian nodded and looked at Xiao Zhan, "I..cannot do something like to you. My pain and memories are not something I want you to suffer from," he explained.

Xiao Zhan looked at him with soft eyes, "to be honest, I have my step siblings, but they are not my biological siblings. I get along with them, but not as well as you may think. Yibo knows the extent of how my family is. During holidays, I am always with him and his family. After my mother passed away, my life changed drastically. If not for Yibo, I would have been in a worse place. He was there when I needed someone most. Because of what I endured, I wanted to use my experience to help others. I am no stranger to being cast aside and the only family I really have is Yibo. I would honestly love to do the merge because I think it would do us good. Plus I can tell by the look on Yibo's face, he wants to know what it's like to fuck me as an immortal being."

"Zhan-ge," Yibo whined, "..okay maybe a little."

Wangji actually couldn't help but laugh. It was actually a first for Zhan and Yibo to hear such a beautiful sound. Wuxian had heard it a few times and it was his favor sound in the world. Wuxian grinned, "Then I think we have made up our minds...maybe Xiao Zhan and I as one being, we could do something greater. Same with Wangji and Yibo...plus we would be doctors. I can pick at Wen Qing's brain for once."

Everyone laughed, "Let's do it," Yibo agreed, "we would have to talk about this with the others before we go through with it though, won't we."

"Not necessarily, if you wish to just do it and we can explain to them later, it is your decision. If you want their opinions on it, it will be fine, but I feel like if you want to, to just do it," Baoshan said, "and just so you know, Xichen and Haikuan will be related to you. So it would be like having older twin brothers. One a bit more serious and political, and the other one that is smart and playful."

The four exchanged a look and agreed to do it. If the others had a problem, it would be too late anyway. It would solve a lot of things and it would give Wangji and Wuxian a fresh start. So they all gathered in the medical room of the house and Baoshan set up an array in the center. She then had Wangji and Yibo go first. Zhan and Wuxian were in awe with how powerful Baoshan really was. She just easily, after chanting a silent spell, merged Yibo and Wangji. As said, the two looked more like Wangji but he now has the more shameless behavior of Yibo.

Now, it was Zhan and Wuxian's turn. The two stood in the center of the array and held each other's hands. During the merge, they felt warm, but a severe headache swept through them. It was to be expected as the two had a lot of trauma and background history. When the two completely merged, it actually caused Wuxian to collapse due to the intensity of it. Baoshan explained to Wangji that it was to be expected for Wuxian. So they let him rest.

For here, when they are in the modern world, they will be addressed as Yibo and Zhan, and then when they are in the cultivation world, they will be addressed as Wangji and Wuxian. They still have the long hair, it used to be waist length but now it is shoulder length. They have toned bodies from the cultivation side, as well as the knowledge of both sides. Both Yibo and Zhan had brown eyes, now they had Wangji and Wuxan's eye colors. They are both also immortals still.
