Reunion

When Lee Ming finally reached where they were all standing, he introduced himself. "Good morning Mr and Mrs Watson. It's a pleasure to finally meet you. I'm Lee Ming" he stretched his hand for Eva's father to take and the man hesitated for a split second before taking Lee Ming's hand. "He's Asian..you decided to go exotic Eva, I like it" Mrs Watson whispered to Eva but it didn't actually come out as a whisper because they all heard it. "Mum!" Eva said nudging her mother. Eva wiped the traces of tears from her face after hearing her mother's statement. The tears were now replaced with a smile. Accessing both of her parents, her mother was the extroverted open-minded daredevil. Which was where Eva got a sprinkle of that daredevil trait while her sister Eve, got all the rest. She remembered when she shamelessly accepted Zaheer's offer of having a night with his boss, Lee Ming. But she was desperate and frustrated at that time and that kicked her into that daring mode. Looking back, she was amazed by how things have turned. The daredevil trait had become recessive and was now replaced with shyness whenever Lee Ming did as much as stare at her.

"Nice to meet you... you're..."- "I'm Eva's husband" Lee Ming cut Mr Watson off but not in a rude way. Mr Watson knew that the man before him was probably Eva's husband but he just wanted to make sure. Drew left Eva's side and stood in front of Lee Ming, not minding the fact that Lee Ming towered over him in a subconsciously intimidating way. "Sir, why didn't you invite us to the wedding? I have always wanted to see both my sisters in those pretty white dresses" his little voice said. Lee Ming bent down to match Drew's height "I'm sorry you didn't get to see it, you can see your other sister's gown when she gets married though" Lee Ming tried to coax the kid but Drew's expression didn't change. "Why don't we all go inside?" Eva said after noticing the silence that reigned after Lee Ming spoke.
"Of course" Lee Ming added and he gestured Yu Shao to come over.
"Good morning to you all" Yu Shao said and Eva's family glanced at the woman who seemed much older than their mother.
"You all can go inside" Lee said and they took their things out of the car with the help of Yu Shao and they entered the house. But before they did, all the guards, Giovanni and Hwang Lu bowed slightly, greeting them. An act that made the family feel even more important though they were surprised by the among of guards in the house.

When they were all settled in and given their separate rooms, Eva pulled Lee Ming by his hand to a corner. "You did this right? How? How were you able to reach them?" She asked curiously as she stared at him. Lee Ming stared at her blue eyes and loved how he saw the emotions swirling in it. He liked her eyes before when they were black but it was almost impossible to see when her pupils dilate whenever she's looking at him or whenever she's happy. But now her eyes are blue, the changes could be seen quickly and to him, it was one of the most attractive hings about her. Now, her pupils were dilated as she stared at him.
"I'd tell you all about it later" he said as he tapped his finger on her pointed nose.
"Okay but thank you Lee. It was so nice of you" Eva said and quickly gave him a tight hug.
"This was the surprise you had for me right?" She looked up at him while still holding on to him. Lee Ming who was already wrapping his own arms around her answered "Yes but it isn't over yet". Eva smiled after hearing his words, enjoying his embrace and grateful about the fact that he actually cared about her happiness.
They stayed in that position for a few more seconds, just enjoying each other's embrace before they pulled away.
"You haven't spoken to your sister yet. Anything wrong?" Lee Ming asked as he tucked a strand of hair behind Eva's ear.
"Oh no.... nothing is wrong. I'd go speak to her now" Eva said and was about to walk away only for Lee Ming to spank her butt the moment she turned her back. "Lee!" She was quite surprised by his action because he had never done it before but now that he did, he seemed to enjoy it because of the smile that adorned his face. "What did I do? I'm just trying new things" Lee Ming feigned innocence and Eva rolled her eyes playfully before walking away. Indeed he was trying new things, she had never expected that he'd be this considerate one day. Reuniting her with her family was just like an icing on the cake of already existing feelings she had for him.
