WHEN THE GROUP ARRIVED BACK AT
the loft, Brian tended to his wife's injuries. She had a cut lashed on her forehead that trailed a little into her scalp, and Brian used a cotton pad, dabbing dried blood away before putting two stitching bandages on it.

When Brian finished his work, Jules reached into her pocket and dialled Mia. "M?" Jules called, walking away from the group and her husband.

"Juli?" she replied and the faint babbles of Jack followed.

"Hey, yeah, it–um, it's Letty. But as always, there's more to it and I don't have the answers." She told her sister, running her unoccupied hand through her hair.

"Letty's alive. That's all that matters." She told her sister, not letting her mind wander too far. "We have her back, Jules."

Jules' gaze locked on where her brother and husband were. Both men worked in silence and kept their eyes trained on the task. Jules sighed, nibbling on her lip. "Yeah, look Mia, do me and Brian a favour, kiss Jack goodnight for us."

"Of course." She replied. "Be safe. All of you."

Jules hummed. "We will. Love you, M."

Jules was the first to hang up, slipping her phone back in her back pocket. She moved over to the two men, watching as her brother removed a bullet from his shoulder and inspected it.

"She obviously didn't kill you, must recognize you somehow." She told him, sending a sheepish smile.

"She looked dead at me, Jules," Dom responded, his stern and hard exterior cracking.

"Maybe the Letty we once knew is gone, Dom. Even though she's alive, maybe she's gone." Brian said, making Jules' chest burn. Was he really willing to just give up?

"You don't turn your back on family. Even when they do." Dom told his brother-in-law, his voice scruffy but impactful.

"She's in there. She may not know it, but she wouldn't just let you walk if she didn't care." Jules added, reassuring her brother.

Jules walked away from the two men and moved all the way over to Tej. Scanning the screens that displayed Shaw's crew. "This is crazy, man," Roman said. Standing in front of the screens with a chocolate bar that he got from the vending machine Hobbs shot a bullet through.

"What are you talking about now?" Tej asked, leaning back in his chair.

"I'm sitting here looking at these images...it's like we're hunting out evil twins." He replied, pointing at one guy. "Look at this black dude right here. He's handsome. Clearly, that's me."

Jules shook her head, her mouth slightly open with a smile as Roman went down the row of people.

"We got a white Hobbs. This is Han. Tej, it's an African in a beanie. That's like your mini-me, man." Roman chuckled and stopped in front of the blonde girl that caused Brian and Jules to crash.

"And Brian! When did you do this photoshoot?" Brian smiled at his friend, holding up his middle finger. "I'm just playin', man. You know you're the prettiest blond around here."

As Roman finished his sentence and popped a piece of chocolate in his mouth, a Navistar MXT drove into the base with Hobbs coming out. "All right, lock it up. We got two things." Hobbs called, moving towards the group.

"First off, this is the worst damn city in the world to commit a crime. They got cameras on every street corner. I got video footage from CCTV of the raid. Let's track that, see where it leads us." Hobbs handed Jules a tape, which she gave to Tej beside her.

"And secondly, we just got confirmation on what Shaw's crew grabbed from Interpol. They ripped off the database of every location that houses the final component that they need." He finished as the two men from afar came closer.

"So where are they at?" Brian asked, standing in Hobbs' line of view.

"There are over two dozen of them around Europe," Riley answered.

"But the list is only good for 96 hours. Which means wherever Shaw's crew is going to hit next, it's going to happen within the next four days. They got a window, and so do we. We gotta move." Hobbs declared.

"Hobbs is right. So let's break this down. You met them. What do we know?" Dom looked over at where his sister and Tej were.

"We know they have to be running custom engines. You heard that flip car going through those gears." Tej answered.

"Sequential transmission." Han added.

"That didn't sound like a normal engine." Gisele said, looking at Dom and Brian.

Jules shook her head. "Because it wasn't."

Brian nodded his head, agreeing with his wife. "That was a turbo diesel. It sounded like something you hear at Le Mans."

"Did you see it take all those hits and still stay flat in the corners?" Tej queried.

"Yeah, hydraulics." Roman answered.

"Or magnetic suspension." Brian added as the team continued to bounce ideas off each other. Riley looked at Hobbs with a look of wonder, but all he did was nod like this was normal.

"Who not only has access to the components, but can fabricate something like that?" Han wondered.

"Maybe a handful of shops in London." Brian answered.

"Regular tuner shops aren't going to cut it on this one." Dom rejected the claim. "We're going to have to dig deeper than that. Han, Gisele, Roman, you're up. We find the guy who made that car, we find Shaw."

Gisele loads her gun and tucks it behind her back. "Let's go." She told the boys, heading for her car.

"I'll help." Riley told Hobbs.

"Roger that." He replied as the four walked away.

"Tej, we're gonna need cars without computer chips that can be overridden. Make sure they're fast." Dom said, making Brian chuckle.

Tej smirked, nodding his head. "I got this."

"I'm already on it, Dom. I've contacted RD and DSS." Hobbs said, and Jules squinted her eyes in his direction.

"No, no." Jules stopped him. "He said he got it." She cocked her head to Tej, challenging the higher up.

Dom and Brian looked at the girl with wide eyes. "This should be interesting."
