JULES AND BRIAN SAT OUTSIDE
their beautiful home that had vines and bushes of flowers growing against the wall. They had a blanket placed on the bright green grass with a bunch of toys scattered around them.

Brian held Jack in his arms as he showed his son every possible toy. "What do you think of this?" He asked, rattling a toy as Jack's hands reached for it. "He likes it. All right."

Jules smiled as she held a stuffed animal in her hand, which immediately caught Jack's eye. "You want this one instead?" She cooed.

"Or this?" Brian asked, bringing forward a miniature skyline. All the toys seemed irrelevant to Jack once the car was in front of him. His tiny hands patted the toy, bringing a smile to the couple's face.

"That's my boy. All right, let's see how this thing flies." Brian held up a paper airplane. "Are you watching?" He threw the paper airplane, and it glided through the air before landing somewhere.

Both Jules' and Brian's head perked up as the sound of a car approached. "It's uncle Dom and aunt Mia. What do you know?" Brian said to their son. "Are you waving? What up?" He picks up Jack's arm, waving it.

"Hey, Jack." Dom greeted, getting out of his car and moving over to the family. "What's up, Uncle Dom? What's up, Aunt Mia." Brian said in a high-pitched tone as Dom leaned down and picked up the paper airplane.

"Are you already pushing imports on him?" Dom asked, standing in front of them with Mia by his side.

"You say, 'Dad's not pushing anything.' He chose that car," Brian told Dom as Jules gave him a playful glare.

"We know he's an O'Conner, but I brought you something, Jack." Dom said, revealing a minifigure Charger. "Yeah! He's also a Toretto."

"I don't know." Brian drawls, taking the toy from Dom to show Jack.

"Luckily, he has a couple more years to decide, right?" Mia said, shooting her sister a soft smile.

"He's gonna take the Honda soon enough." She reminded him, and Dom snickered.

"I think he decided, Mia." Dom said, making them laugh.

Jules leaned forward and took Jack into her arms. "I think it's time for his nap." She stood up, looking at her family. "Where he'll dream of the S2000." She raised her eyebrows and walked back into the house.

"I'll come with you." Mia said, following behind Mia through the house.

The sisters walked through the home and Jules pushed the wooden door open, revealing Jack's baby blue walled room. Jules shushed her son, swaying him back and forth before gently placing him in his crib.

"A car mobile? Seriously?" Mia laughed quietly, pointing at the rotating cars that moved in circles over Jack's bed.

Jules smiled, looking down at her son. "Brian's idea, not mine." She replied, watching as Jack's eyes blinked slower and slower.

Quietly, the two sisters tiptoed out of the room and Jules left the door open about three inches. She was cautious and there were nights where even the littlest sounds would send her straight to him.

Two Weeks Ago

Jules lied beside Brian, sleeping lightly. She tossed back and forth, trying to find comfort, but her mind wouldn't shut off. She closed her eyes tightly and found Brian's hand, holding it tightly.

Jules had become terrified of the darkness. The unknown. Every time she was thrown into a dream she didn't like, she froze.

Jesse's death.

Herself getting shot.

Brian leaves her.

Leon's disappearance.

Letty's crash site.

Vince's death.

It all haunted her.

The sound of a creaking door had Jules wide awake and out of bed. She looked at Brian, heavily breathing as she tried to find some sign of consciousness from him. When she realized he was still fast asleep, she exited their room and walked down the hall, cautiously.

Her hand gripped the door handle of Jack's room tightly before opening it. Her head whipped around the room, looking for any signs of danger. When she found none, she leaned over Jack's crib.

She didn't even realize she was crying until she saw a drop fall onto Jack's night outfit. Jules took Jack into her arms and slid down to the side of his crib. Quiet sobs left her mouth as every dangerous thought or situation filled her mind.

"Julianna?" Brian called, popping his head into the room. His heart shattered at the sight in front of him. His wife, on the floor, holding their son, sobbing.

He quickly rushed over to the two, grabbing Jules' face in his hands, looking between the two with worry. "What happened? Are you okay?" He asked, rushing over his words.

Jules glanced up at her husband and as her mouth opened, no words could be formed. "Okay, okay, it's okay. Just breathe baby. Breathe." He instructed her, trying to get her to follow him.

Jules slowly started taking deeper breaths and her vision became less blurry. "I'm gonna take Jack from you, okay?" He said, slowly reaching for their son and putting him back in his crib.

It shocked Brian that Jack didn't even react to his mother's tears or the sudden movements. But he knew his son was never in any danger with his mom.

Brian was able to get Jules back to their bedroom, and he held her close to his chest, whispering comforting words in her ear. "Don't shut me out, baby. I'm right here." He reassured her.

Jules kept a frown on her face, but nodded. "I don't wanna talk about it tonight." She whispered, closing her eyes. But this time, darkness consumed her and the heavy dreams seemed to disappear.

Jules and Mia walked away from Jackson's room and stood in the doorway, looking out towards the men who exchanged an envelope.

Jules, very intrigued, walked straight up to them as Brian took the envelope in his hands. "What is it?" Jules asked, standing behind Brian.

"Taken a week ago." Dom stated, looking to the side.

"Diplomatic Security Service." Brian read. "Hobbs." He took the pile of papers from the package and they held pictures and information of the one person they thought they'd never see again... Letty.

"You know, I used to do this shit all the time as a cop. This is exactly what cops do. He's messing with your head." Brian said, getting teary-eyed as he dropped the papers on the table.

Jules looked down at her husband, seeing his jaw clench and unclench as he put his hands to his mouth. "Letty's dead, Dom." He tells her brother, a pang shooting through Jules' heart.

"I need to know for sure." Dom replied, not letting Brian's emotions impact him.

"Then I'm going with you." Brian quickly said.

"You said you were going to leave this life behind." Her brother recalled.

"We both said that we were leaving the life behind." Brian countered, leaning back in his seat as Jules' hands rested on his shoulders.

"He's right." Mia said, coming over to the group. "If we got a problem, we deal with it together."

"Dom, we're family and Letty... she was like my sister." Jules told him. "So if you have to go out there and get answers, then you better have us in your corner."

Mia looked at the family in front of her and stared deeply into her brother's eyes. "Now go get Letty."
