"ARE YOU SERIOUS, BRIAN!"
Jules shouted after her husband as she followed behind him to their secluded room.

Julianna was livid. Every outcome filled her head, and each one of them didn't end well. There was so much that could go wrong, and Brian was just walking in blind.

"Jules, please." He breathed out, rubbing his eyes as he packed his bag of clothes. "I have a plan. It's all worked out."

Jules scoffed, shaking her head. She didn't want to say she didn't believe in her husband, but this was a man that they hadn't encountered in years and now they just thought they could walk in and get the answers they desperately needed.

"Are you even hearing yourself?" She asked, stepping in between him and his luggage. "Do you really think you can walk in there and not be spotted? Not be caught?"

"You don't have faith in me?" He countered, raising an eyebrow at her.

"You're twisting my words." She stated, but her voice didn't have its usual certainty and determination. It was shallow and weak.

Brian's jaw clenched. "Am I? 'Cause where I'm standing, it looks like you've got no faith." He snapped. "I'm trying to help the group out! I'm doing what I should've done long ago!"

Jules' breathing was uneven and her hands were clenched at her sides. She didn't know what to say to him to convince him they could go around this. Brian was so determined by the look on his face, she didn't think she'd be able to break through.

"So what is it you want?" Jules asked, her voice leveled and controlled. "Forgiveness? We already gave you that. Redemption? What, Brian?"

"I want to make things right!" He shouted, before calming himself down. He knew everyone outside might hear them, and he didn't want them to believe he wasn't ready. "I need to do this Julianna–I am going to do this."

Brian took a step forward and cupped Jules' face, tilting it up a bit. "Come on, baby. Let me do this." He whispered.

It was like a need for Julianna's approval. Would he do it without her word? Yes, the group needed it. But would it kill him? Certainly.

"And if you get hurt?" She asked, her voice wavering a little with a frown.

A small smile appeared on Brian's face as he pecked Jules' lips. "You get to tell me 'I told you so.'"

Jules rolled her eyes. "I tell you that all the time, but I'm serious, Bry." She gave him a pointed look. "I need you to come back to me. I need you to come back to me and Jack."

"I'll never leave you two." He promised. Brian pressed his lips against Jules', full of passion and love. "I gotta make some calls." He whispered and slowly went back to packing.

The couple only had this night to be in each other's grasps. Jules sat in their makeshift bed, watching intently as Brian laid out supplies. "Are you going to tell me who you're going to call?" She asked as he placed the bag on the floor.

"That'd require me to tell you the plan." He quipped, taking a seat on the edge of the bed and close to Jules. "I'm gonna be okay, you know."

Jules nodded, swallowing deeply. "I know." She muttered.

Brian leaned in, kissing Jules softly. All his dread and frustration drained away into something raw and desperate. His thumb brushed her cheek as he tilted her head back, deepening the kiss gently, like he's memorizing the shape of her mouth.

He pulled back slowly, his thumb still on your cheek, tracking the curve of her jaw. His eyes were dark and intense as he studied her face; her parted lips, flushed cheeks, dazed expression. "I love you." He said, lips brushing against her lips.

Jules' tense expression softened as she rested her forehead against Brian's. "I love you too." She replied.

That night, the couple slept in each other's arms. Brian held Jules close to his chest, focusing on her steady breathing, and by the time Jules woke up in the morning, he wasn't there. His usual spot was now empty.

When Jules exited her room, she saw the group already working. She could feel their heavy gazes, possibly from hearing the fight between her and her husband, but she didn't care.

She stood beside her brother, who pulled her into a side hug and pressed a comforting kiss to her head. They worked diligently until Tej shouted. "Hey, don't touch that. That's nothing to play with, man." He warned Roman.

"What's the problem?" Roman asked, holding the weapon that was given specifically for Tej.

"That's high tensile titanium cable. That's what they use to anchor buildings and hold up bridges. Stuff you know nothing about. See now their version, it works cool. But mine? Masterpiece." Tej answered, taking the weapon from Roman's hands.

"See, I reversed the gears, torque the motor and added this tank to the back." Tej revealed the back of the weapon where a tank of NOS rested.

Roman took it back in his hands, more intrigued than ever as Han came closer to Jules and stood in front of her. "Hey, I did some checkin', asked around. Got the location of a street race tonight." He told them.

Jules smiled as an anchor whistled past her face and into the concrete pillar. Her smile fell and her eyes widened as she looked at what almost killed her and followed it back to the two idiots who held Tej's toy.

Roman quickly put it in Tej's hands, acting like he wasn't involved. Jules walked towards the men, following the string on the ground and soon stood across from them.

"I should kill you both with my bare hands." She threatened, her eyes dark. "There's a reason you two are the ones who stay back."

Dom, from behind her, held an amused smirk as he and Han watched Jules practically kill them with her gaze. "Stupid actions mean stupid consequences." She reminded them before walking away.
