"YOU SON OF A BITCH! YOU MADE
it!" Roman shouted, happily as he dropped his duffle bags to the ground and watched his longtime best friend exit the elevator. Brian and Roman met halfway, embracing each other. "What up, man?"

"Good to see you," Brian replied, looking at Tej and Roman while Han and Gisele came closer with duffel bags of their own draped over their shoulders. "So, what's going on here?"

"Figured out they're hitting an army base in Spain. Border patrol ID'ed Shaw's men crossing through last night." Tej answered.

"Hobbs and Riley went to lock down the base. They're going to meet us there." Han added, dabbing up Brian.

"Where's Dom?" He asked, looking around the room.

"He wasn't going without you," Gisele said, looking over her shoulder and pointing to a blue car that rested behind a cement pole.

Brian walked in that direction, seeing his brother-in-law. "I found out what happened to Letty. It's all my fault." He expressed.

"Brian," Dom started as he moved away from the car. "Whatever you found out, that's for you. What we're about to do now is for her. I suggest you see Julianna." He cocked his head to the couple's makeshift room.

Brian nodded, blinking hard to almost get rid of his glassy eyes. He walked into the room, quietly closing the door behind him. He saw Jules' figure back towards him as she packed up their clothes.

Since Brian left with barely anything, it left Jules in charge of packing up all their things. Well, more so that she didn't want anyone near their belongings. A strange attachment, like if she didn't do it herself, it'd slip through her hands and be gone forever.

"Need any help?" His voice broke through.

Jules' head snapped back as she looked over her shoulder, a soft gasp leaving her lips. She slowly got back up to her feet and stared at the man in front of her. "You're back?" She stated, with happy tears brimming her eyes.

Brian nodded quickly, and he took steps closer to his wife before pulling her into a tight hug. "I'm here, baby. I'm home." He whispered as his hand came up and held the back of her head, pressing her closer.

The two held each other for a few moments, trying to make up for each's absence. Jules closed her eyes as she listened to Brian's heartbeat and for a minute she imagined them with their son, smiles on their faces. What a perfect life she had.

"Did you find what you needed?" She asked, pulling her head back, but kept her arms around him.

Brian nodded, lowering his head a little. "It's all my fault." He muttered, his eyes trained on Jules' necklace with a car charm.

Jules furrowed her eyebrows and gave him a look of confusion. "I–Brian?" She stuttered, trying to put the pieces together until the name Letty filled her mind. "Stop it. It is not your fault."

"Jules, I issued the information, I told her where she could—"

"And she followed through." Jules cut him off. "That was Letty's decision. You did not force her to go through with it." Her hands moved up his body, cupping his jaw. "The man I know, the man I love, always does what he can with the best intentions."

"Things happen. Good or bad? Doesn't matter. But we always come out the other side. I will not allow you to fall into some guilt-ridden hole when you can't control someone else's actions." She said in the softest tone imaginable.

Back then, Jules blamed Brian for the loss of Jesse. He was her best friend, the kid who was rejected by any other group but hers. When she lost him, she couldn't help but think if Brian didn't come when he did, then her best friend would still be walking the earth.

But that would also mean she'd never be with Brian. And Jack would never be theirs.

Brian's gaze softened and his hands held Jules' wrists, rubbing his thumb along her forearm. "Okay." He breathed out, repeating the word a few times.

"Right now, I need you to focus on what's at hand. Shaw's team is–"

"I know. I know. Tej told me." He cut her off as Jules fully removed herself from him to resume packing.

"Good, means I don't have to explain stuff that I barely understand myself." She snickered while zipping up the duffle bags. "Now make yourself useful and carry one."

"I come back and I can't even get a kiss from my wife?" Brian teased as Jules shot him a look with her eyebrow raised.

Jules dropped the duffel bags on the bed and faced her husband again. "Welcome home." She smiled, pressing his lips to his.

The team piled into a jet that Hobbs provided them. Inside, the cars fit snuggly and extra cargo hid any excess products. "I just got word they caught one of Shaw's men at the base. It's time," Tej announced, walking past the group.

"Something is not right." Brian said, leaning off the blue car. "He wanted us to find that guy. Think about it. At Interpol, you were face-to-face with him."

"Brian, so what are you saying?" Roman asked with his arms crossed.

"Braga said the only way you get near Shaw is if he wants you to," Brian recalled and the knot in Jules' stomach only grew bigger.

"Tej, where's that component?" Dom asked, looking at the man.

"They're moving it to a secure location." Tej answered as it all started to click for the group.

Dom looked at Brian. "Shaw ain't hitting that base."

Brian shook his head in agreement. "He's hitting the convoy."

"Then we better get there first."
