LIAM's POV

FRIDAY AFTERNOON

I was staring at myself in the mirror

Why in the world did I agree to this date?!

I really got myself in trouble this time because it's just like Liv said

Once we go on this date it's no going back, it will just be another one after that and then another one and so on

I won't deny and say I don't find Kai attractive or feel excited at the thought of actually being with him

But

Am I ready for such commitment?

I'm used to dates but I've never been in a long lasting relationship

It makes me nervous because Kai seems different

He's more serious than the guys I've been with, he's more persistent too

I let out a groan and lowered my head

"I have nothing to wear" I mumbled to myself

It all started to look like a bad idea and it didn't help when I got a new message from no other but Kai

I glanced at the screen of my phone

KAI: "I'll pick you up in 20 minutes"

I brought my hands up to my face and then ran them through my hair

"get yourself together Liam" I said to myself before I left the bathroom

I walked over to my wardrobe and opened it

I began searching through it, ending up taking out three different shirts

I threw them all on my bed and proceeded to run the same process for the pants

I then grabbed all three of the shirts, two pair of pants and a necklace I usually wear before leaving my room

I walked down the hall to Lia's room

I entered without a knock, ending up with a pillow in my face

She told me numerous times to knock before just barging in but I didn't have time for that right now

She began yelling at me for 'ignoring the basic rules' as she called it

But she went silent the moment she saw the clothes in my hands

"what's all this?" she asked as she titled her head a little to the side

"I need your help with picking out my outfit"

"but you never ask my opinion unless-

She stopped when she realised where this was going

A gasp followed

"you're going on a date" she guessed
