It was that light haired guy, from the library

The one I caught staring at our table

And once again, he was standing there, his arms crossed as he was looking in our direction

Who is this guy?

"you okay Liv?" Lia asked

I turned to her

"yeah I'm fine" I said quickly before looking back to the guy

But to my surprise, he was gone

Maybe I'm drunk already and my mind is just playing tricks on me

I brought the cup to my lips and drank out the remaining alcohol in it

The song changed and another rhythm fell upon us

Lia and I began dancing and screaming the lyrics once again

"I'll go get another drink" Liam yelled before walking away

He eventually disappeared into the crowd, leaving me and Lia alone

But we didn't mind as we continued doing our thing

She took my hand in hers and gestured for me to spin

I did as she asked and proceeded to make her do the same

"oh my god" she suddenly said as she diverted her eyes behind me

I looked over my shoulder but didn't quite know where I was supposed to look

"what is it?" I asked her

"it's the guy I'm supposed to meet with" she said

"which one?"

"the one in a blue shirt, tall, brunette"

"there's like a hundred brunettes here"

"to your right"

I looked to my right and spotted him

He was definitely Lia's type so I could see what the excitement was all about

He was looking around the room, clearly trying to find her

"go say hi" I urged her

"what about you? I can't just ditch you"

"I'll be fine, I'm thirsty anyway so I'll just go pour myself another drink"

"you sure?"

"Lia, go" I said in a sharper tone

"okay" she said with a happy smile before leaving my side

I waited for her to walk over to that guy and hug him before I left the dancing floor and headed to the nearest table with alcohol

I started wondering where Liam was

I took my phone out of the purse and texted him
