WEDNESDAY

"again" I said

Ares's fist immediately made contact with the sandbag on my command

"again"

His arms moved again and his fists collided with the sandbag one more time

"now give me 20 push-ups and then we'll wrap it up" I told him

He got on the ground and not even two seconds went by before he already started doing push-ups

Meanwhile I checked the time on my phone

7 am

By the time I diverted my eyes back to Ares he was almost done

I calculated the remaining time we had in my head

"our bus leaves in less than half an hour so you have 10 minutes to take a shower and then we have to leave" I said to Ares

He got up from the floor and first gave me a nod, then he spoke up

"you need one?"

"what, a shower?"

"mhm"

"no I already showered at home"

"I'm just saying that if you were to need a shower, it's better for us to just use one together, it results in less water consumption"

"so just out of economic reasons then?" I asked, raising my eyebrow and showing a smile

"precisely"

I picked up a towel that was resting on the bench beside us and without any warning threw it at Ares

He caught it after it hit his face and landed in his hands

A cheeky smile was painted across his face

"I'll take that as a 'maybe'"

"you're waisting your shower time" I replied, waving the phone in my hand at him

"9 minutes left before we leave" I told him

"okay, okay" he said, bringing his hands up in the air in a defence manner

He then turned around and walked away towards the bathroom and showers

AT SCHOOL

"Jaxon will be here tomorrow at 3pm and will train with us until 5" I said while me and Ares were walking down the hallway

Ares didn't reply to my words which made me look up to him

His eyes were focused on the path before us

I wasn't sure if he even heard me, it was like he was deep in a thought

"Ares?"

He finally looked at me but I could see that he still wasn't paying his full attention

"are you okay?" I asked him
