SATURDAY
"did everyone pack everything because I'm not turning back around halfway there" Kai said
"shit I forgot my underwear" Liam said while he was looking through his bag
"I guess I'll just have to sleep naked"
Kai's head snapped to him at his words
"I'm kidding" Liam chuckled after seeing Kai's expression
Kai said something under his breath but none of us heard what it was
"are you guys all packed?" Lia asked from behind
We all turned to look her way
Since there were 3 couples, which made 6 of us, one car wasn't enough for the trip
Lia decided to get there with Ezra's car while me, Liam and Ares will ride with Kai
"yeah, we're all set" Kai answered her
"okay, we'll get going first since I know where's the place and you can follow after us"
"sounds good"
For what I knew we were going to a mountain place
It was the end of may so the weather in the mountains was already pretty nice and not too chilly
Lia booked us a cabin with three bedrooms, kitchen, living room and three bathrooms
I took care of my and Ares's part of the rent, not wanting to put any unnecessary pressure on him
We all started getting into the car and Kai went to close the trunk
Kai and Liam sat down in the front, me and Ares in the back
We had about 4 hours of drive ahead of us so I had my blanket and pillow prepared
Ares sat down beside the window so I had 2 seats left to myself in case I were to lie down
As Kai drove off Liam turned on the radio, the song filling the silent space in the car
Kai's car followed right after Ezra's
I rested my head on Ares's shoulder and directed my gaze to the scenery outside the car window
"the lady said the keys should be under the rug on the front porch" Lia said as we were walking towards the cabin
The place was absolutely beautiful
The cabin looked cozy and pretty modern with lots of space around it
There was a lake just next to it, surrounded with mountains
