Amara's POV

"Happy birthday to you...happy birthday to you...."

Ayan na naman sila! Rinig ko na agad sila Calli at Alex sa labas ng pinto na mahinang kumakanta ng birthday song.

Tandem ang dalawang 'yan eh. Kapag nandyan si Calli, hindi pwedeng wala si Alex.

It's currently Thursday, but I don't know what time it is. Obviously, today is my birthday, but I still can't find the energy to get up and start the day.

I found it suspicious when I heard nothing more outside, biglang natahimik.

Nagtulug-tulugan ako pero bahagyang nakabukas ang isang mata para mabantayan ko ang bawat galaw sa kwarto ko. Hahaha!

Okay na sana, kaso may isang magaling na nag-bukas ng blinds ng bintana, eh do'n pa naman ako nakaharap! Nakakasilaw!!

"Good morning..."

Napadilat ako kasi sobrang lapit sa mukha ko nang nagsalita, napaurong pa ako ng kaunti paatras.

"Hey...good morning, my love..." He whispered before planting a kiss on the tip of my nose.

"Ehhh...gusto ko pang matulog." I complained.

Nasa harap ko si Alex at nasa likuran ko naman si Calli. Ganito kami every morning, they wake me up with their goofiness!

"Nope, it's your birthday today so we should celebrate!" Alex exclaimed while he's carefully pulling me to get up. Nagpapabigat ako pero nahila niya pa rin ako patayo.

"Selfieeee!!! First picture of another year for Mommy!" I was frowning because of Alex so he used his fingers to pull the corners of my lips upwards to force me to smile for Calli's selfie.

After taking a few selfies, he made me face him and he kissed me a few times. "Happy birthday." He said while cupping my face.

"Thank you, I love you!"

"Yieee! Ang sweet!" Kantyaw ni Calli kaya inabot ko ang pisngi at pinisil.

"Mag-ready ka na. We're gonna have a family date." Alex said then they left the room, but in a split second, he opened the door again and peeked through the gap.

"And wear a dress." Pahabol niya before he closed the door again.

Right after they left, I headed to the bathroom to get ready.

20 minutes passed, and now, I'm all done. I just have to dry my hair and apply a little bit of make up. Hindi ko alam kung anong peg for our date o kung saan kami pupunta, so I'll just go with a simple look.

I then headed to my closet and looked for a dress to wear.

Hmm....

Ano bang pwede?

I was rummaging through the hung clothes in the closet, and my dark blue, knee length, fitted sleeveless dress with a jewel neckline caught my attention.

I think I'll just wear this one and let my hair down in a beach wavy style. I partnered it with a pair of 2-inch silver stilettos.

"Hmmm, happy birthday to you!" I greeted myself as I took a quick glance at myself on the mirror.

Pagbaba ko ng hagdan, naabutan kong nag-uusap si Alex at Calli at mukhang seryoso sila, pero nahinto nang makita nila ako.

"Parang ang serious ng pinag-uusapan niyo ah?" Puna ko paglapit ko sa kanila.

"It's nothing. Let's go?"
