Days later...

Alex's POV

Today is Sunday kaya for sure, walang pasok si Amara. Well, I hope.

"Take out order for Alex!" The staff yelled from the counter so I stood up and took my food before leaving the cafe.

It was a quick drive to Amara's house because it's very early, wala pang masyadong sasakyan sa daan. Inagahan ko talaga para maabutan kong tulog pa si Amara, lalo na ngayong araw, she's for sure sleeping in.

"Sir! Ang aga natin ah?" Bati ni Calli pagbukas ng gate. She was still rubbing her eyes and yawning, baka kakagising lang din.

"Good morning! Gising na ba si Amara?"

"Tulog pa po eh. Pasok po kayo." She moved to the side so I can step inside the gate.

"Nag-breakfast na po ba kayo? Ano pong gusto niyong kainin?" Tanong niya.

I smiled and respectfully shook my head. "Okay lang ako, nakakain na. Thank you."

She nodded attentively. "Sige po! Okay lang po ba kayo dito?"

I grinned. "Actually, akyat muna ako sa taas ha. Iistorbohin ko lang si Amara." Biro ko.

She smiled from ear to ear, making her eyes chinkier. "Yiieeee! Sige po, gora na, Sir! Your queen awaits you."

That's the kind of encouragement that I need! Calli sure knows how to boost someone up! "Thanks, Calli! Uhm, pwede bang pakilagay muna ito sa kitchen?" Pinakita ko sa kaniya ang mga dala kong paper bag ng pagkain.

"Sure po!" She took the paper bag of food and drinks then I headed upstairs with Calli's permission.

Tahimik na tahimik pa kaya siguradong tulog pa ito.

I tried to slowly turn the knob and secretly whispered a 'yes!' when the door opened. I sneaked inside and found Amara heavily asleep while turned to the other side of the room.

Pillows are lined up in a straight line behind her on the edge of the bed, probably to keep her from falling, or to give her warmth? Ang lamig sa kwarto niya eh. Nakakumot pa siya na nakabalot hanggang sa leeg niya at mukhang may unan pa na yakap dahil bulky 'yung ilalim ng kumot.

She looks like a kid.

I slowly removed the pillows behind her, careful not to wake her up. Tagumpay naman ako when I cleared her side.

I sat down on the side of the bed and removed my shoes because she's gonna freak out and get mad if I lay on her bed with shoes on.

Tulog na tulog siya kaya hindi siya nagising nang tabihan ko siya. She only flinched a little but it was fine.

Bahala na kung tamaan ako ni Amara mamaya dahil sa ginagawa ko, but I just missed laying next to her. Hidden agenda ko talaga 'to kaya ako pumunta rito ng maaga. Hahaha! Well, we're boyfriend and girlfriend again so I guess this is okay naman na, 'no?

I buried my face on the crook of her neck and wrapped my arm around her waist.

"Ugh, what are you doing here?" I almost jumped out of the bed when she spoke. It was groggy and sounded like she's irritated.

"I came to visit you." I softly whispered.

She shuffled that's why her blanket moved down to her mid section. I tried to pull it up because she'll get cold, but instead, she took my arm and wrapped it around her stomach, then secured it with her arm on top.

What she did made me smile. I don't know if she's still dreaming and unaware that I'm here because she does that a lot, but it feels nice knowing that she's comfortable with me laying beside her.
