Alex's POV

My alarm went off, waking me up at 6:15 in the morning. Today's the day...

"What's that?" Amara groggily asked as she shuffled on the bed. Her back is turned to me, but she's keeping my arm draped around her.

Feels nice waking up next to her on our wedding day.

"My alarm." I answered while gently pulling her closer to me.

I planted small and soft kisses on her shoulder, trailing to her cheek. "Good morning, hon... Gising ka na, para makapag-prepare ka ng maaga." I softly spoke to her.

"Wait lang...."

Inaantok pa, hahaha! Binantayan ko nga 'to kagabi hanggang sa makatulog para masigurado ko na makakatulog siya at hindi siya mapupuyat.

"My bride is a sleepyhead..." I teased, making her hit my arm. Kagabi pa talaga ako nabubugbog sa kaniya.

"Gising ka na, excited na akong pakasalan ka." I whispered and I heard her giggling.

Finally, dumilat na siya at tumihaya ng higa kaya nakita ko na ang mukha. "Ang ingay ng groom." Nakangiting reklamo niya.

Bumangon ako at umupo sa tabi niya. "Eh tulog pa ang bride eh, baka abutan ka ng matron of honor mo na naghihilik."

Tinapik niya ang tiyan ko at tumawa. "Ano? Uuwi ka na ba? You need to prepare na rin." She said while stretching her body.

I looked at my phone clock and decided. "Later, mga 15 minutes."

I leaned against the headboard and scooped her in my arms as I planted a kiss on her forehead. She then adjusted her head to reach my lips and kiss me.

"Wala pang 'kiss the bride', nakaka-nakaw ka na ng halik ah." Pang-aasar ko kaya inirapan niya lang ako at tumawa.

"You prepared your vows na ba?" She asked while softly tapping her fingers on my chest.

"We needed to prepare that?!" I pretended to sound unprepared and shocked.

Bigla siyang napa-upo. "Don't tell me that you didn't write one?!"

I bursted into laughter, seeing her hysterical reaction. "I was just kidding, my love. Of course, meron, ang tagal ko na ngang sinulat eh."

"Nakakainis ka! Kagabi mo pa ako inaasar!"

I chuckled as I wrapped my arms around her waist from the side, my face resting on her shoulder and the tip of my nose slightly brushing against the side of her face.

"You look cute when you're like that."

"Umuwi ka na nga! Ang kulit--" Nahinto siya sa pagsasalita kasi pinaharap ko sa'kin ang mukha at hinalikan ko ng mariin. Napapikit siya sa gulat.

Ayan, 'yan lang pala ang makakapagpatahimik kay Ma'am Amara Claire. Hahaha!

I held her by the chin and slightly tilted my head to the side, deepening the morning kiss that we're sharing at the moment.

She clung her arms around my neck and giggled against my lips. "Uwi na ako, I'll see you later." I said after pulling away.

She pouted while staring at me with her puppy eyes. "Can't you stay a little longer?" Hahaha! Pinapauwi na ako, pero nahalikan lang, biglang ayaw na akong paalisin.

"I can't, honey. We're getting married later, I need to prepare rin."

She sighed deeply. "Okay, ingat ka. I love you so, so much!" She kissed me a few more times before letting me go.
