And I'll Never Be The Same Again

Alexander's POV

I don't know if I should follow Amara or just let her be dahil tulad ng sabi ni Ria, bad mood si Amara. Baka sa akin maibuhos ang galit.

Nainis siguro siya sa kompetisyon namin ni Wilson. Hindi ko nga alam kung bakit nakikipag-kompetisyon ang lalaking 'yon eh. Kumukuha lang ako ng food para kay Amara 'tapos gumaya naman itong si Wilson.

Actually, I don't really know Wilson enough, in fact, I don't know him personally. Eh pinadalhan ako ng invitation kaya pumunta ako.

Kanina pa ako pabalik balik ng tingin kung saan dumaan kanina si Amara palabas. Freak! I really want to go after her!

"Sige na nga, nakakaawa ka na dyan eh. Sundan mo na." That was the only signal from Ria that I was waiting for before I stood up and ran.

Looked for her outside the ballroom, in the lobby, I already looked everywhere but she's nowhere to be found. Hindi kaya umuwi na siya?

I suddenly had an idea where she could find peace and quiet, baka nando'n siya.

I checked every room hallways of the hotel in the same floor of the ballroom, and I was right!

There she is. A beautiful lady sitting on the floor, leaning her back against the wall while removing her shoes.

One of the things I love about her is that she doesn't care about how she looks like. Can you believe na no'ng first date namin noong nililigawan ko palang siya, naka-jeans and tshirt siya habang naka-polo and slacks ako? Sobrang formal ng itsura ko no'n pero ang casual and chill lang niya. Hindi niya daw kasi alam ang susuotin niya dahil wala daw nu'n si Ria.

That's when I realized that...damn! I'm not gonna find another woman like her. She's the one.

Then there's this one time in the past when we weren't married yet. I was gonna leave for a business trip abroad and we agreed to meet in a park.

Pagdating ko doon, she looks like a child enjoying the water droplets that splashes on her from the fountain.

She's literally so precious.

I smiled while slowly approaching her. Napansin kong minamasahe niya ang paa niya, baka sumakit sa suot na high heels.

"Masyado kang maganda para umupo sa carpet." I said, smiling. Tumayo ako sa tabi niya habang nakaupo pa rin siya at nakasandal sa pader.

Tumingala siya at tinitigan lang ako so I decided to sit next to her. Wala na akong pakialam kung mainis man siya sa'kin o ipagtabuyan ako paalis. Gusto ko lang na magkaayos kami.

"What are you doing here?" She nonchalantly asked.

"Well, he invited me so--"

She cut me off. "I mean HERE. What are you doing here?"

Oh, she meant the hallway. I didn't get it at first.

"Wala, sinundan ka. Si Ria ang may sabi." Natawa siya nang mahina nang banggitin ko si Ria.

Tumingin siya sa'kin at hinawi ng kaunti ang buhok niya sa likod. "Bumalik ka na doon. Wala ka naman makaka-kwentuhan dito eh." She said, but I didn't leave.

"It's okay. Masyado na ring maingay doon, you know that mingling with people is not really my thing, right?"

She let out a small and faint laugh then she stopped massaging her ankles and covered her feet with her gown.

Mukhang hindi naman na siya naiirita sa presence ko, maybe this is a chance for us to talk.

I felt really bad after our last encounter which happened to be our dinner.
