Sebastian froze, eyes flickering between Rosie and the girl in front of them. His brain told him to turn around and run but his heart knew he needed to stay for Rosie's sake.
This was her sister.
"Isabelle..." She repeated.
"Rosie!" Her sister exclaimed, much more enthusiastic than Rosie had.
The older blonde girl got up from her chair and bounced over, pulling Rosie into an almost bone-crushing hug.
Rosie tried to reciprocate the hug, but she was stunned in place while Sebastian stood awkwardly by the door.
"Come, sit," Professor Weasley directed, waving them towards the chairs around her desk.
"I'll just–" Sebastian began.
"No!" Rosie cried out, grabbing his arm, "Please don't leave, I need you."
"But–"
"No." She hissed.
Rosie dragged Sebastian over and sat him down on a chair next to her and Professor Weasley excused herself to let the sisters catch up.
"What the fuck are you doing here?" Rosie said through clenched teeth.
"Huh," Isabelle scoffed, "I'd have thought you'd be more excited to see me. I'm here because something has happened, plans have changed."
"What has happened?" Rosie asked, narrowing her eyes.
"I'll get to that in a minute, first, I want to know who this handsome boy is you've got following you around." Isabelle said with a smirk.
"Uh... this is..." Rosie began.
Truthfully, she panicked. Isabelle was in on her plan. She knew Rosie was there to kill Sebastian. So she logically couldn't go and introduce him as not only the Sebastian Sallow, but also as her boyfriend.
"You're kidding." Isabelle interrupted Rosie's train of thought.
"What?"
"You got with him! This is the guy, right?" Isabelle said with the largest, widest grin on her face, pointing accusingly at Sebastian.
"Wha–I, no, I–"
"Primrose Eleanora Callahan, you dirty little thing! I don't know whether to laugh or curse you out!"
Rosie's face flushed a beetroot red as she stammered, desperately trying to come up with an explanation for herself, but she couldn't think of one. She did think Isabelle was kind of right in her accusations, it really was a bit stupid.
Sebastian though, looked white as a ghost as the two sisters exchanged words, feeling rather uncomfortable and regretting insisting he follow her to Professor Weasley's office at all.
Isabelle burst into laughter, the kind that made the entire room vibrate. "I knew they shouldn't have sent you!"
Rosie shot a quick look at Sebastian, who offered her a very weak and unconvincing smile in return.
But Isabelle was oblivious to the awkwardness enveloping the room and continued her mocking of her sister.
"I always knew you had a thing for bad boys. But a killer, Rosie? You've really outdone yourself this time!"
"Sorry, a killer?" Sebastian said, his first words since he'd laid eyes on Isabelle.
"Yeah, you... you kill a lot of people, Sebastian. It's why she's here. I assume she'd told you?"
Sebastian shook his head and turned to look at Rosie who was looking for what to say to make it right. "She didn't."
"I didn't know specifics, Isabelle..."
