A heavy banging and crashing from the kitchen startled both Rosie and Sebastian awake abruptly. When Rosie opened her eyes, she quickly remembered she was in Sebastian's bed, and he had gotten his wish of waking up in the morning with her as the sun beamed through the blinds Sebastian had apparently forgotten to close in his haste to simply get to bed, hold Rosie and never let her go, just in case he was dreaming.
"Should you investigate?" Rosie mumbled into his chest, taking care to be extra quiet so whoever was destroying the flat didn't hear them.
Sebastian kept his eyes shut and shook his head, instead opting to hold her impossibly closer, pressing a long kiss on her forehead.
"Sebastian, we can't stay here forever..." Rosie murmured, although a part of her wished they could.
With a sigh, Sebastian finally relented. "Alright, alright," he said, reluctantly letting her go.
He planted one last kiss on her forehead before sliding out of bed, pulling on his trousers and a shirt before sliding through the door, closing it behind him softly
Rosie quickly pulled on her clothes, just in case she needed to make an escape or face the truth and sat patiently at the end of Sebastian's bed, smoothing her hair and trying to make herself look somewhat presentable despite being pressed up against him all night.
She heard the mumbling of voices, which stopped as abruptly as it started and then Sebastian was back.
"She knows you're here."
"Anne?"
"No, the maid, yes Anne." Sebastian said with a sarcastic roll of his eyes.
"Considering you only just convinced me to be with you again, I'd suggest you select your words rather carefully..." Rosie teased.
Sebastian let out a small laugh and moved towards the bed, placing both his hands on either side of Rosie so they were face to face.
"I'd never make the mistake of losing you again, don't you worry," He murmured before pressing his mouth to hers, lowering her down onto the bed.
She pushed into the kiss, hands trailing up his back until they were tangled in the morning matted mess at the back of his head but Sebastian pulled away.
"Sadly, no morning session. She wants us to have breakfast."
Rosie groaned.
"Don't be like that," Sebastian said, "We have plenty of time for that later. All the time in the world, really."
Rosie sighed, knowing he was right. "Alright," she said, sitting up and smoothing her clothes again with a sigh.
Sebastian chuckled and took her hand, helping her off the bed. "It won't be so bad. Anne likes you."
"Does she? After everything?"
"Yes. I told you before she did." Sebastian said with a dismissive wave of his hand.
"But even now? After we went behind their backs?"
Sebastian chuckled, "We probably weren't as discreet as we thought."
"Isabelle had no idea."
"Anne seems to think she did. Why else would she suddenly be sending you on dates?"
"To get me out of her apartment, most likely..."
Sebastian hummed but chose to not respond anymore, opening the door to his room and walking out.
"Rosie, sorry if I woke you. Thought I'd make some breakfast but someone doesn't know how to stack pans away." Anne said, throwing a glare in the direction of her brother, referencing the early banging and crashing of pans as they fell out of the cupboard when she opened it.
