Olivia's pov-
Today is my 2nd game with barcelona, alexia, mama and mum are going to be there although i got told that last week and more were so i couldnt tell you, i know rach and millie are also watching as they coukdnt get my debut, a few others probably watching to, so im a tad nervous knowing that but ill just try my best and im excited to because were playing madrid so im quite excited for that. Its an early kick off at 11am so i can get ready early and be there, were playing at home, johan cruyff stadium, it is open to the public but due to us being u17s not may are interested so i am able to speak to the few that come which is nice. Id be like mum and mearps always make time for everyone.
Alexia-"chicas lets go"
We all get in the car and make our way to the stadium, im the dj because mum and mama are rubbish and alexia plays spanish songs. We arrive at the stadium at 10.15am, ready for warmup, there is a few more people here than normal and is said to be more watching online. I have seen loads of tiktok edits to do with this game, although it is only the u17s. God im a bit nervous now.
Ana-"right girls derby day today im starting with the strongest team, ..... and upfront olivia" god ok i feel sick, my phone pings so i quickly check it, millie, rach, leah,katie,mum,fans etc, i dont read any as i dont have time, i line up and we walk out. Theres few cheers. The game starts

Ana-"come on girls were better then this" we all clap and go back out.
The secind half starts our kick, i pass it back to isa, i make the run through the midfield to last man when she plays the ball over the top, im ablut to take the touch but as i step down, pop. I drop to the floor screaming, my knee in excruciating pain, it just popped, no one on me nothing, it popped, it feels like its about fall off. Fucking hell. This is absolutely horrifying.
Olivia-"AHHHHHHHH, OW OW OW OW" I burst into tears and the ref soon stops the game
Alexia's pov-
Oh no. I know that scream. I look down.
Keira-"what the-"
Lucy-"ale?"
I look up "is it what i think it is?" I sigh and nod
Alexia-"i know the scream luce, im sorry"
Keira-"what what?" She looks at me and her face drops "no, no no not my baby, no please not that" her eyes fill with tears, lucys already streaming, im trying to hold mine in best i can.
Keira-"you can cry ale, you know how bad this is, me and lucy dont"
Lucy-"ive had knee injuries, but never this ale, your gonna be her only hope" and then...i break. Keira hugs me. I see olivia balling her eyes out still screaming.
Alexia-"i need to help her"
Lucy-"go ale" i jump over the stands, run onto the pitch, security trying to stop me but i push past them, she needs help, she needs to breathe.
I wuickly crouch by her side
Alexia-"hey liv carino, can you hear me?"
Olivia-"a..a..a..ale?"
Alexia-"its me im here, i need you to calm down, i know it hurts bad but I need you to breathe for me, here have this" i give her gas an air. "Deep breathe querida" she takes deep breaths while also sobbing
Olivia-"w...w..wheres my mum and mama"
Alexia-"there just up there" she nods
Olivia-"how bad is it ale?"
Alexia-"i domt know carino" i turn to the medics Es lo malo que pienso?(is it gow bad i think?)
Medic-"si"
Alexia-"merda"
Olivia-"ale what is it, i know that word"
Alecia-"its okay carino, your ok"
Olivia-"no im not ale, this hurts to much for me to be ok"
I help her up "its hospital carino"
"NO! no hospital"
"You have to carino"
"I cant ale" she goes to sit down
Lucy-"babygirl!"
Olivia-"mum?" Her eyes lights up
Lucy-"im here babygirl, come on"
Olivia-"i cant no hospital"
Lucy-"you have to, were all here okay i promise" she nods and we all get in the ambulance them letting us all on, we get to the hospital and shes taken straight for scans. I sit down and sigh
Alexia-"merda"
Lucy-"fuck"
Keira-"fucking hell"
Alexia-"merda"
We sit in silence all dreading the known result.
Doctor-"as to your suspicions, it is, her acl, ruptured" my head drops, i sink back to the chair "im so sorry, do you want to inform her?"
I nod "can i girls? I know this is heartbreaking news to hear" they both nod and i walk to her room
Alexia-"hey"
Olivia-"hey"
Alexia-"erm so your scans are back erm, im so sorry liv, youve done your acl, ruptured"
Olivia's pov-
No. No. No. It cant be. No. "N..n..no" my eyes fill with tears, the one thing i didnt want to do, an athlets worst nightmare.
Alexia-"im so sor-"
Olivia-"no no no"
Alexia-"li-"
Olivia-"NO GET OUT! GET OUT ALEXIA!" She leaves and i throw my head back the tears pouring. I cant stop them, i cant believe this. I was just coming back, and now look.
*knock knock*
Olivia-"go away"
Mama walks in
Olivia-"m..m..mama, i cant do this"
Keira-"oh baby, can i cuddle you?" I nod
Olivia-"p..please mama"
She sits next to me and i let more tears spill
Keira-"you can through this baba"
Olivia-"this is the one thing i didnt think id do"
Keira-"its okay baba, theres no changing it now, were just gonna have to face it" i nod against her, im falling asleep when the doctor walks in
Doctor-"hi sorry, im guessing now you know the news so were here because luckily there is a cancellation surgery leaving a place for you which we can do right now" i nod and i go into surgery. I wake up a few hours later. I have a knee brace on, alexia, lucy, keira are all in room
Lucy-"babygirl" she looks at me with teary eyes
Olivia-"stop crying mum, theres nothing we can do now"
Lucy-"i know"
She hugs me
Olivia-"ale im sorry for shouting at you"
Alexia-"its okay, i know this isnt nice" i nod
I go on my phone, loads of messages but now, its time to tell the public what ive done, i take a deep breath
