145. Flashback

31st July 2022
Olivia's pov-
The Euros final today, Pete is actually letting me go with Amy as he didn't want me screaming in the house and he doesn't like it so he told me to go, im so happy. It's at Wembley so it's not that far, I'm going with Amy's mum and dad who are really nice, I wake up early as I'm very excited. Its a 4pm kick off but we're leaving Manchester at 10am so we can get there in plenty of time. It's 8am at the minute and I'm just sat in my room waiting until Amy knocks on my door and I'm away for a day, I'm so excited. The time drags on but finally I hear a knock on the door and see Amy's face through the window
Amy-"hi I'm here for Olivia"
Pete-"olivia! Hurry up!"
I run out the door,picking up my handmade Lucy Bronze sunglasses, straight to Amy's car hearing the door slam behind us, we quickly sit in the back of the car and Amy gets a box out of the boot
Amy-"ive got you something"
Olivia-"why?"
Amy-"because" sje gives me the box
Olivia-"I cant open it"
Amy-"yeah you can come on" I slowly open the lid seeing a white shirt being uncovered with a '2 and Bronze' on
Olivia-"OH MY GOD OH MY GOD AMY THANK YOU SO MUCH"
Amy-"its okay I have a Beth Mead one on I thought id buy that for you as shes your favourite"
Olivia-"THAMK YOU THANK YOU!"
I carefully hug her
Her mom starts the journey were driving down as the train tickers were so expensive
Nicole(Amy's mum)-"excited girls?"
Olivia-"very!"
The journey wasn't to bad until we got nearer to Wembley as people started trying to find parking, luckily we found a space in a car park not to far away
Nicole-"come on then girls"
Patrick(Amys dad)-"im gonna go to the pub while you girls go shopping and we will meet by the entrance gate"
Nicole-"ok"
Me, Amy and her mom Nicole go into the shopping centre for quite a while doordeling round the shops, it's now 3pm so we decide to go to the gate where we find Patrick waiting for us, the gate is already open so we quickly head in finding our seats, we're so close to the floor, 3 rows from the front, im so excited, Amy and her dad grab some drinks for us while I wait with her mum watching the players warm up, we'll I mean Lucy, I cant believe I'm finally seeing her. I see Amy and her dad walking back down the stairs
Olivia-"amy, Nicole and Patrick I just wanna say thank you so much for bringing me this is literally the best day ever"
Nicole-"oh dont be silly your always welcome to come with us"
Finally the time rolls round to kickoff, Lucy and Beth are both starting. The starting lineup for England is-

Amy says that's a strong team I'm not really sure as I don't know all of them, I love Bronze and I quite like Walsh but the rest I don't really know. The game kicks off and it's quite an entertaining first half but no goals. The second half kicks off after a little break at half time where some music was played.
Walsh picks up the ball on the right edge of the halfway circle, Ella Toone makes a run and Walsh sees it, she pings a ball perfectly over the top which Toone then chips over the goalkeeper, GOALLLLL ELLA TOONEEEEE- 1-0 ENGLAND
The whole stadium jumps up and roars
Olivia-"YESSSSSSS COME ONNNNN"
Germany then score with Lina Magull scoring. Its end to end throughout the rest of the game. As the Germans shot it hit Lucy, Leah,Millie, Mary and others all on the line and now we anxiously wait while VAR check for a penalty as the Germans believed it made contact with Leahs arm, the VAR check finishes, NO PENALTY! The stadium cheers as the game carries on. Fulltime~1-1. To Extra time we go. First half of extra time still it's 1-1 but we are dominating which is good, 110' minute
We get a corner which is taken by Beth Mead who by the way is habing a brilliant tournament, it goes into the  box hitting Lucy legs as she jumps up for it, it lands at Chloe Kelly's feet and she swings and misses which then makes it easy to hold for the keeper but she drops it and Kelly gets her toe on it and it falls into the net, the stadium roars as we watch Chloe Kelly run off toward the bench taking her top off, I watch Lucy drop to her knees in excitement. The stadium is bouncing as England might bring it home, the Germans push on but it's not enough as the Referee blows the final whistle. We won. We won the Euros. We all cheer and scream as we watch the players run to hug eachother or drop the floor. The stadium is singing as the players excitedly walk around the pitch thanking us, we're on the front row now as a few people left so we jumped in, we see Lucy,Keira and Beth together so me and Amy turn around hoping they'll look, we turn back around facing the pitch to see them walking over, I take my glasses off and Lucy almost turns like pale which kinda causes my face to instantly drop, she walks over anyway, they sign our shirts and Lucy signs my glasses to
Beth-"what are youse names?"
Amy-"I..I.. im Amy"
Olivia-"im...im O..O..Olivia"
Lucy-"nice to meet youse"
We talk with them for a bit, me in tears, getting a photo too before Lucy rushes off
Lucy's pov-
Keira. I need to see Keira quick. I rush around the pitch trying to find her, I find her talking with her mum
Lucy-"Keira!"
Keira-"two secs mum"
Tracy-"go on darling ill speak to you later"
Keira-"see you"
She comes back onto the pitch
Lucy-"I.. I.. I.. I just saw her kei"
Keira-"who Lucy calm down take a breath"
Lucy-"o..o..Olivia m..m..my daughter"
Keira-"is she still here?"
I shake my head "they left as I walked off" I tell her
Keira-"are you sure it was her luce"
Lucy-"yes look I got a photo with her" I show her the photo "and now I've lost her again kei, I've done it again shes just gonna go off with no idea back to her foster parents, FUCK SAKE!" I walk off punching everything in sight before my captain, Leah Williamson stops me "woah Lucy take a minute are you alright?" She asks worried "yes im fine Leah" I reassure her
"Lucy your clearly not do you want Kei?"
"No I've already spoke to her it's nothing, when is the trophy lift?"
"15 so go and cool the fuck down so we can enjoy this and ill be sending Keira to you" She tells me
"But le-"
"No Lucy, go to the changing rooms"
I huff and walk off to the changing rooms, I stand infront of my locker creating fists, the door opens and it's Alex  Greenwood so I relax
"You okay Lucy?"
"Yeah just grabbing something"
"Alright" she leaves and the fists quickly return and I take to the lockers. 1 punch 2 punch 3 punch 4 I keep punching until the door bursts open. Keira.
Keira-"Lucy? I hears banging?" I hide behind my locker watching her every move, I see her stand infront of my locker touching the blood tearing up, my heart breaks
Lucy-"k..k..k..kei"
I whimper out dropping to the floor behind my locker
Keira-"Lucy?"
"I..I.. im s..s..sorry kei"
"Oh Lucy where are you?"
"B..b.behind"
She walks round and wraps her arms around me pulling me close
Keira-"shshsh I know your angry, you'll get her again I promise"
"I won't kei I won't"
"You will shshsh"
"How? Not with barca talking to city?"
"You will Lucy I promise, your not gonna give up on her, think of Lyon you were still talking about her then"
"True, thank you kei"
"Let me see luce"
I show her my bloody knuckles which is also on my face from wiping my tears "oh luce" she cleans them up for me and wipes my face "breathe luce just keep believing okay"
"I'm trying kei, it's so hard"
"I know lu I know"
She pulls me up from the floor into a long warm hug until Leah walks in
Leah-"sorry guys it's 5 minutes till trophy lift" she sees my locker and looks at me with saddened eyes "lucy"
Lucy-"im fine leah"
Leah-"okay come on" we all walk out and lineup in a single row line, me and keira separating abit, we all take our places on the stand waiting for Captain Leah to bring it over, im so happy now, im so proud of all of us. Leah grabs the trophy and starts walking over
Lionesses-"ooooooohhhhhhhh wayyyyyyyy" everyone cheers and Leah and Millie lift the trophy together, we hear Lessi scream "ow" as her medal hit her in the face, the stadium is bouncing, I look around and there she is with her friend cheering like everyone else but there's a look of worry on her face everytime the stadium loudens she flinches, I lock eyes with her offering a worrying look when kei gets me out my trance
Keira-"luce she's still here, come on" we walk over and see them both again, we start chatting and we are all so happy
Lucy-"olivia I ne-"
Leah-"girls come on! Time to go in!"
I look at kei and she sighs
"Come on luce"
Lucy-"bu-"
"Lucy its time" I look back at Olivia and her friend, I decide to break some rules and wrap my arms around Olivia squeezing her tight, I feel her flinch but her whole body relaxes once I keep my arms softly around her, I start tearing up so let go
Lucy-"bye girls" I say through tears, I wave them off as me and kei walk across the pitch, I break into tears as were walking, I quickly go to the toilet to hide
Olivia's pov-
Oh my god, Lucy just hugged me, what the hell, I got her signature, a photo, a video of her hugging me, this is the best day ever. We start the long journey 'home' ahh actually I'm staying at Amy's today, we get back to Amy's and head to her bedroom where there's a blown up mattress set up for me. I lie down but I cant sleep still thinking about Lucy.
