150. Vs Sweden

BACK TO OLIVIAS POV FOR ONCEE!!

Olivia's pov-
It's been a few days but now mums eye is getting blacker and blacker but honestly looking at Maya and Niamh is hilarious, there looking even worse and now there not even speaking to eachother. It's around lunchtime and we have training after, Maya, Niamh and mum have still been going at eachother everyday. Mum says her neck doesn't hurt anymore but every now and again you see her wince around. We go out to training and I can see mum struggling to look around with her neck and I don't know whether to say anything to mama or Sarina. We doing a passing drill where you have to look over your shoulder, go round the defender and then pass it down the wing, I do it well as does momma but mum can't just look over her shoulder, I've got to tell Sarina.
Olivia-"Sarina can I talk to you please"
Sarina-"yeah what's up kiddo"
Olivia-"mums neck is hurting her but she won't say, don't sub her you can't say I've said anything"
Sarina-"okay ill keep an eye for you"
Olivia-"thanks Sarina"
I go back and we do a shooting drill before we go in and hit the gym for an hour, I'm on the treadmill and see mum going mad on the punching bag
Georgia-"how's face is that lucy" she laughs, mum doesn't respond but just keeps punching. After an hour of her using that bag she finally moves and walks out towards the medic room, I carefully follow her and see her grabbing an ice bag for her neck. She walks around the room so I quickly hide behind the wall and head to the reception towards the coach where the rest of the team are.
Keira-"liv darling do you know where your mum is?"
Olivia-"erm I erm no I dont"
Keira-"liv?"
Olivia-"what? I dont"
I walk away going over to Beth and Millie,
Beth-"hey girl"
Millie-"hey mush"
Olivia-"hey girls youse okay?"
Millie-"yeah just waiting to get on the coach who you sitting with?"
Olivia-"oh erm im not sure because I don't think g is sitting on the back row with us anymore"
Millie-"oh okay"
Keira-"liv!"
I turn around and see her waving me over, I walk over to her
Keira-"where is your mum"
Olivia-"I dont know"
Keira-"liv stop lying to me"
I sigh "fine. I saw her in the medical room putting an ice bag on her neck I don't know where she is now I come here"
Keira-"thank you"
She walks off so I go over to Leah who is with Alex G and Mary.
Leah-"hey you"
Alex-"hey the only girl to score on the halfway line past mary"
I laugh but Mary does not find it funny.
Mary-"rude that was not my fault"
Leah-"liv come here I need to speak to you" she takes us to a quieter bit of the room "what's up kid you seem a little lost"
Olivia-"oh I'm just not really sure who im going to sit by"
Leah-"why?"
Olivia-"normally I'd be by the window then mum then Momma then g then you but now there's no g"
Leah-"you can still sit by the window"
Olivia-"I know but then you'd be left out"
Leah-"I dont like conversation on the way to games anyway chick"
Olivia-"are you sure le"
Leah-"yes"
I nod, momma and mum are soon then reappearing. Mum still slightly wincing.
We all go onto the coach and head to the stadium in Sweden. It's a short drive which is good, I put my headphones in as we pull up and feel a squeeze on my hand to see both mum and momma smiling at me. Momma mouths "im so proud of you" at me and I blow a kiss back before we get off the coach. We all walk through the fans, I turn my headphones to max volume and still hear a few shouts. Jesus people, obviously no one is going to meet you before a game oh my. We go into the changing rooms putting our bags down getting changed into warm up kits, we go out to warm up for half an hour with an hour before kick off. The warm up finishes and we all jog back in to quickly get a drink and then line up. Starting 11-

That's one good team. We lineup and start to walk out behind leah, im in the middle of Momma and Mum at the back, I have my kiss on the head from mum and squeeze of the hand from momma before we walk out. The walk starts and we have to trek round the sign in the middle before standing in a line next to momma and mum, I see them both wave to their mums and I just smile at them both, I sillyly wave to them and they laugh at me waving back. We shake hands with the Swedish, recognising Frido. We get into positions, the Swedish having kick off. The game starts and the first 15 minutes are quite equal before Leah plays a ball over the top to Beth, I sprint into the box, connecting my head with Beths ball, I roll as I hit the floor quickly looking up to see the ball in the net, I look at the lino to see her flag down and I run to Beth jumping at her.
Olivia-"what a ball come onnm"
We all celebrate before getting into position again, they equalise in the 40th minute and we go in 1-1, at halftime. I walk into the tunnel and see Mum stretching her neck.
Olivia-"mum"
She quickly moves wincing
Lucy-"h..hey"
Olivia-"are you ok?"
Lucy-"yeah yeah you?"
Olivia-"er yeah" We go into the changing rooms and I grab my drinks bottle, sitting back into my seat. Its time for the second half so I stand up slapping the top of my cubby softly where my name is first before jogging back out onto the pitch. The ref blows her whistle to get the second half started, Grace scores a screamer in the 50th minute and we all pile on top of her. I get out the pile and look up to see mum with an ice pack on her neck. She needs to go off but of course I can't say anything, the rest of the team stands up and I give my eyes to momma who looks exactly at mum with the ice pack, she shakes her head before getting into position. The Swedish kick the game off agsin, it's an equal start again with both teams getting chances, it's the 80th minute and a goal at this stage woukd probably determine the score, we need to win to qualify automatically. Sweden win a corner, I wait just before the D on the edge of the box. It comes out and I sprint to it winning it ahead of the Swedish defender, I sprint down the middle of the middle woth the goalkeeper straight infront of me, I go to take another step and all I feel is....BANG! Someone's come sliding through me taking out my ankle, honestly it all went black. I fall to the floor over the player, I don't even know or care who it was right now, this pain is oh my god I can't tell if it's worse than my acl. Nevermind no it isnt, nothing is worse than that. I lie on the floor clutching my ankle tears falling out screaming in pain. I hear the comfort of mommas voice who is instantly by my side.
Keira-"hey my beautiful girl, it's momma, I'm here baby, I've got you my baba, can you look at me, slow your breathing, Less is here with you aswell"
Olivia-"momma is hurts so.. so much"
Keira-"me and less are here beautiful"
I cry into her shoulder that's by my head
Olivia-"wheres mum, I want mum momma. Momma wheres mum"
I've opened my eyes once and seen medics around me, Less and Momma.
Olivia-"momma, less I want mum, I WANT MUMMY! I WANT MY MUM!" I scream louder and louder "I WANT MY MUMMY!"
Less-"hey liv breathe, we will get her, just breathe"
Keira-"LUCY! GET HERE!"
Lucy-"yeah?"
Keira-"stop fucking fighting the player and help our screaming for you in excruciating pain daughter!"
Lucy-"sorry I jus-"
I scream out in pain
Keira-"it doesnt matter Lucy"
Lucy-"im here babygirl"
Olivia-"who was it?"
Lucy-"erm"
Lessi-"wasn't it-"
Lucy-"im not sure to be honest"
I scream again as the medics move it
Medic-"all right liv, you need to breathe, I think your more in shock then pain I can't see any break or anything, do you need to come off?"
My eyes bolt open and I instantly sit up
Olivia-"no no no no no"
Lessi-"why don't you go off and rest it?"
Olivia-"no auntie lessi"
Lessi-"okay" she cuddles my head into her chest and mum, momma, Lessi and the medics all help me up. I try and put weight down on it and instantly feel shooting pains it in.
Lessi-"liv let's get you off"
Olivia-"no auntie lessi!"
Leah comes running over
Leah-"hey kid look at me, you can go off, it's okay, your in pain"
Olivia-"no le le, im fine"
Leah-"try and walk" I put my foot down, the shooting pains are severe but I manage to hobble a few steps the pain going away the further I go.
Olivia-"s..see" I say through the tears in my eyes.
Leah-"kid"
Olivia-"le I'm fine" I look up at Lessi who's gazing lovingly at Leah, I grab her arm to pull her down to my ear.
Olivia-"lessi don't make it to obvious you like someone" she goes bright red and smirks.
Lessi-"shullup you, yeah me and rach broke up quite a while ago"
Olivia-"I gathered after you stopped speaking about eachother on the phone"
She nods
Commentary team-"Good to see Olivia Bronze-Walsh back on her feet even if she doesnt look in the greatest of ways at all after that ridiculously dangerous challenge from Fridolina Rolfo on her young teammate."

I manage to jog abit with the medics by my side so they let me stay on unwillingly but you know. Alex takes the free kick and she curls one into the box, Mum gets up for it but it just goes past the post, my ankle is on fire but we're literally into added time which is only 4 minutes so I'm fine. The game finishes and I fall to my knees in severe pain, but I finished the 90 and we won so it's good.
Commentary team-"Olivia Bronze-Walsh if you look has just instantly dropped to the floor there clutching that left ankle, does not look good there"

I lie on my back, legs flat, hands over my head eyes closed. My ankle sending pain through my whole body.  The medics come over to me with Leah and Lessi, no mums just aunties least some people care enough I guess. Leah picks me up and carries me into the medical room where they start pressing it
Olivia-"ahh"
Lessi grabs my hand, squeezing it
Olivia-"lessi" I say leaning into her arm "where are my mums"
She looks up towards leah
Leah-"there just talking I think kid don't worry"
Olivia-"leah where are my mums"
"Where are they! Where are they! WHERE ARE THEY!"
Leah-"okay okay kid, your momma said your mum coukdnt see you while you was having your ankle checked because she didn't care much on the pitch"
Olivia-"oh" I feel the tears trickle down my cheeks, I want no one else more than them riggt now. I pull my ankle away from the medic, my hands away from leah and lessi and hobble out the stadium into the random Swedish streets, I have no clue about, I sit on the floor by the river with some boats about, I slide down the wall, the tears streaming down my face, honestly I want no one else other than my mums right now, mum did take it too far thought but I didn't think momma wouldn't let her see me, my ankles throbbing and I'm sat crying my eyes out in some random Swedish street, I see a young teenage boy approaching me and start speaking Swedish so I show him my shirt
Olivia-"english"
Boy-"o...Olivia? B...Bronze-walsh? The ball player?"
Olivia-"yeah" I nod
Boy-"y...you ok?" I nod again wanting him to go away
Boy-"s...s...see you later, be careful" he says walking away, I watch the boats come in and out of the harbor, my face is tear strained and I hear the two voices who I can't think of anyone worse.....
