35. Seniors

I wake up and realise that im training with the seniors today, how im going to hide this from my mum's
Lucy-"morning liv, you can stay up here or you could come down and watch"
Olivia-"ill come down"
Training-
We go down and im wearing my man city stuff i said because it was cold but its really not because of that
Sarina-"hiya everyone, we need to train hard and well today hope we all got enough rest, today we have a very special guest training with us to give them a chance to train with youse and see what theyve got with older people"
Keira-"who is it sarina?"
Sarina-"ok keira calm down haha youll be very excited to know that the player training today HAS JUST GOT INTO MAN CITY U15 ITS OLIVIA BRONZE-WALSH!!"
I go over to them
Lucy-"uhmmm and how did we not know about this?"
Olivia-"hehe"
Sarina-"right lets get started, olivia come here"
I go over to her while they all go to their different drills
Sarina-"right im going to get you to go through all of the different drills so your not just with your mum's okay?"
Olivia-"ok what is there?"
Sarina-"right so first over here" she points to the left "we have shots against which ever keeper you choice then over here we have pinging balls into buckets then to the right over here we have a defending drill and then last thing here we have header tennis if you feel comfortable doing that one if you dont we have a keepy up competition whoever does the most wins a prize, dont ask what that prize is i dont know, ok the keeper one you could choose to shoot against all if you wanted, where would you like to start"
Olivia-"keepers please"
Sarina-"of you go then"
Mary-"COME ON THEN MINI BRONZE-WALSH SEE WHAT YOU GOT"
Olivia-"hannah first"
Mary-"ah mannn, i want a go"
Olivia-"what should i take?"
Hannah-"penalty"
I put the ball down, take a few steps back, run up, bang it top corner
Khiara-"go onnnn"
Olivia-"right Khiara next please"
Khiara-"lets goooo, try freekick"
I put the ball down to suit me, i manage to curve it over the bollard wall and it goes top corner
Mary-"oh my."
Mary-"right thats it my turn go halfway line"
Olivia-"what?"
Mary-"halfway line come on"
I take the ball to the halfway line, take a few steps back
I hit it, that was a good hit i know it
I watch the ball and notice everyone turn there attention to it
It curls away from goal so i look down but then i hear "oooo" i look up to see it curling back towards the goal, it hits the back of the net, i hear "ahhhh, omggggggg" im lifted into the air by god knows who and everyone is screaming. Im actually quite happy with that. I see mary just sat on the floor in disbelief. I get put down and go over to her
Mary-"that Olivia was incredible"
Olivia-"thanks mearps and here i was thinking i would never score against you"
Mary-"haha"
I move onto the next drill
I get every ball into the bucket
Keira-"oh my god liv"
Olivia-"did i do something?"
Keira-"no no that was just amazing"
I go to the keepy up challenge
The highest right now, is my mum of course with 154
I have to beat her
I start amazing
People are cheering but i ignore them and get in my own headspace
I hit 100 and am determined to keep going
I get to 150 and people start counting to 154
I brush past my mums score easy
I end on 235
Beth-"LIV YOUR JUST GOOD AT EVERYTHING!"
Sarina blows her whistle
Sarina-"well everyone i think we can all agree who our star trainer was today, scoring from the halfway line, every ball in every bucket, and then 235 keepy ups, well done olivia"
Olivia-"thanks sarina it was an honour to play with you all"
Sarina-"we do a training game tomorrow if you wanna play?"
Olivia-"maybe"
We all go back to our rooms
Lucy-"well i wasnt expecting that today liv"
Olivia-"i cant believe i scored against mary"
Lucy-"i know yeah that was a great goal, you were amazing today"
Olivia-"thanks mum"
Keira-"you need a shower you two"
Lucy-"ill go first"
Olivia-"no me"
I run to the bathroom
Olivia-"i win"
I lock the door take my top off and see my scars, abuse scars and self harm scars
I turn the shower on quickly
I quickly get in and out so i dont have time to break down
I go out and mum goes in
Keira-"you played amazing today liv"
Olivia-"thanks mama can i have a cuddle"
Keira-"course you can darling come here"
I lay in her arms, ive missed mama cuddles
