Zeeian Kai POV

"Bulol! Bulol!"

"Ang dami-dami ninyong pera bakit hindi ka magpabili ng bagong dila para naman maintindihan namin ang mga pinagsasabi mo!"

This is my first time studying here in the Philippines, I was really having a hard time adjusting here since then. My classmates kept on bullying me because of the way I talked because Momma and Mommy never enrolled me in a foreign language class for me to learn tagalog words unlike my ate and kuya.

Despite being the well-known granddaughter of Mr. Ashford I still experienced bullying whenever I tried talking in tagalog. I am not that good in pronouncing specific words in Tagalog and I can't help but, to pronounced it using Thai accent.

It's been a month since the classes started and I still don't have friends except Calix and Justin, which are my cousins.

"Papalag ka ba? o baka mamaya magsumbong ka lang sa lolo mo." This ugly creature really irritates me for a month now, the sound of his voice is really annoying. His Saliva is splashing all over my table, disgusting.

I was about to punch his mouth to stop him from talking when someone put a crumpled paper inside his noisy mouth.

"Kalalaki mong tao napakadada mo! Pinaglihi ka ba ng nanay mo sa pwet ng manok?!" she shouted angrily.

I heard my classmates made fun of him because of what the girl said. I really didn't understand what she said but, I do feel like she just defended me from him. I just watched her pinched his ear up until he reached his designated seat.

I feel like I found my own ate Zianah inside my school, someone who will defend me when someone is bullying me.

Since that day I always try to talk to her and befriend her, she's quite rude actually maybe that is why she also doesn't have a friend like me.

"Can you teach me speak tagalog?" I asked her nicely.

"Kausapin mo ako ng tagalog." she answered.

"Hilap naman." I stated while scratching my head.

"Edi hindi pwede, umalis ka na sa harap ko ang panget mo!" she shouted.

I immediately walk away from her while carrying my Filipino notebook without knowing it was just the start of our friendship.

"Mang Ben, follow that girl." I command while pointing at her.

How could I be her friend if I don't even know her name?

I am just watching her walk slowly while holding a pink umbrella. Momma told me that walking alone is not safe especially in our age but, this girl looks tough.

She's very independent and mature despite our age. I never laid my eyes off her up until she got home safely.

When she finally reach home I immediately took my notebook, pencil case and a lunch box made by mamala before getting out of the car.

I am just walking happily towards her home while holding my things. Their house looks so homey, there is also a table and a grill outside their house. It was covered by a big umbrella.

I happily knocked on their door while holding my things and a lunch box.

"Sino ka?" a boy asked me, he looks older than her.

"Hi, I am Zeeian Kai, I am her friend." I said.

"Nay! May nanghihingi ng pera rito! Wala raw silang makain!" he screamed.

I am just smiling at him because I can't understand what he shouted. Seconds passed by and an older woman walked towards the two of us.

"Hindi naman siya mukhang walang makain." she stated while looking at my whole being.
