James

Christmas flew by rather quickly and now it's time to return to Hogwarts.
I enjoyed having a quiet Christmas for once.
My parents are famous for their Christmas Day party that they've hosted every year since way before I was born so I've never really experienced a quiet Christmas before, it was a nice change.
I'm glad to be going back to Hogwarts though, I must admit I've missed Lily a fair bit so I'm hoping to see her on the train.
Sirius and I bid goodbye to my parents and we board the train, finding an empty carriage where we wait for Remus, Peter is spending the trip back to Hogwarts with some of his friends in Ravenclaw.
Soon enough the train departs from Platform Nine and Three Quarters and we are officially en route to Hogwarts.
"So, Remus, how was your Christmas?" I ask
Remus shrugs "Was my last one at the home so wasn't too bad I s'pose, you lot have a good one?" Asks Remus
"Yeah not bad, quiet one this year" I reply
"Yeah, Dumbledore cancelled Christmas" Sirius adds.
Remus quirks and eyebrow so we fill him in on the Order meeting to connect the dots for him.
When we've finished explaining our car door opens and we all look up to see Regulus in the door way
"Reggie! What can we do for you?" Asks Sirius
"James, I need to speak to you" Regulus says, sounding serious
"What's up?" I ask
"No, I need to talk to you privately" Regulus replies. I nod, seeing no reason to argue. I stand and walk out of the car, following Regulus into an empty car.
"Are we having another secret hookup? Because we haven't done that in a while, or do you actually need to talk to me?" I ask
"No, I actually need to talk to you" Regulus replies
"Reg, what's wrong?" I ask, worried now.
"There was a Death Eater meeting over the holidays"
"Right, I assumed there would be"
"The Dark Lord had asked Hogwarts students to collect information on the goings on in Hogwarts and then he called on each of us to deliver the information. I delivered vague information to keep him happy, but Severus Snape was there, he's told The Dark Lord about you and Sirius by name so the two of you are on his radar, but now he knows there's a second Black son he wants the Black family to prove their loyalty, so he's asked me to be a spy for the Order, he's also asked Arlo"
I feel myself pale at this information and I run a hand through my hair.
"Fuck. When I see Snape I'm going to make him sorry he ever existed" I say through clenched teeth
"James, you can't say anything to him, if he knows you know he told The Dark Lord about you then he'll know either me or Arlo is a traitor and he'll definitely suspect me, he wants to find a way to usurp me enough as it is, don't ruin this so soon" Regulus warns me.
"Alright. Look, Sirius will probably tell you this but you need to tell Dumbledore about your mission, he can help you become a double agent, tell you what to say to He Who Must Not Be Named whilst also protecting you"
"You think Dumbledore will want to protect me?"
"He'd better, I asked him to"
I didn't mean to admit the last part, it just spilled out of me. I just stand staring at Regulus who is staring back at me, speechless
"You asked Dumbledore to protect me?" Asks Regulus
"Of course I did, Reg, I still love you. I'm trying not to, but I do" I reply
"I love you too, James"
"Don't do that to me, Regulus, don't say that"
"I'm sorry"
"Look, I have to go"
I leave before Regulus can say anything or try to stop me and I go to look for Lily.
Luckily for me, I bump into her on my way back to the train car with Remus and Sirius.
"Hey, James" she says with a smile. She looks phenomenal. She's cut her hair. She's tied it back into a ponytail but it's a lot shorter and now she has curtain bangs that frame her beautiful face. She's wearing a white crop top with little cherries on it and low rise boot cut denim jeans and some white trainers. She looks so good.
"You cut your hair" I say, touching her hair.
"Do you like it?" She asks cautiously
"If it's possible it makes you look even better than you already do" I reply and she blushes
"Really?"
"Lily, you look so good"
She smiles and kisses me. I kiss her back, pulling her closer to me as though I can't get enough of her...because I can't.
"Should we look for an empty car?" Lily asks as I kiss down her neck.
I nod and she takes my hand, leading the way.
The minute that we're in the car I lock the door, cast a silencing charm and pull down all the window covers. I then immediately turn my attention back to Lily and pull her in for a kiss.
"Oh, I've missed you" I say as I kiss her again.
"I've missed you too" she replies as she kisses down my neck, leaving her mark on me between my neck and collarbone which makes me groan. She takes my t-shirt off and kisses down my torso as she unbuttons my jeans and pulls them down the lower down she kisses.
She wastes no time in taking me in her mouth, as though she was starving for me.
I swear as she bobs her head back and forth.
As I get close to my climax she stops and I groan.
She kisses my lips again and I take off her shirt and unbutton her jeans, pulling them down as I guide us over to one of the benches. I lay her down on the train bench and place myself between her legs.
I lick up the centre of her before I enter two fingers in her, causing her to gasp.
I continue to lick and swirl my tongue while pumping my fingers into her, curling them as I push them in.
She quickly reaches her climax and I position myself so I'm now on top of her, my hips in between her legs as I align myself with her
"Wait, let's try something new" Lily says, mischief on her face. I quirk a brow
"Lay on your back" she demands as she wiggles herself out from under me. I do as I'm told and she straddles me, lowering herself onto me.
"I like this, I like this a lot" I say with a smirk, she smiles and starts to move her hips back and forth and I think I may have transcended into the heavens.
The both of us curse and moan as Lily quickens her pace. When we reach our climaxes it's Lily that's laying on top of me this time instead of the other way around.
I run my hands up and down her back and kiss her forehead.
"How was your Christmas?" I ask, planting another kiss on her forehead. She sighs "Manageable" she replies bluntly
"What's wrong?" I ask
"It's alright, I don't wanna bring down the mood" Lily replies
"You can talk to me, Baby, but I'm not going to force you at all" I say softly, holding both her cheeks in my hands, running my thumbs over them
"Pet has met a boy named Vernon. I think he's vile. He's more of a...traditional man. I was banned from talking about school or any of my friends so I couldn't bring up the Order with my parents which meant I missed the meeting. Pet seems to be getting her way a hell of a lot more now if that's even possible. Mum and Dad's pride of me being a witch seemed to have faded by around third year but I'm worried they're starting to see my magic as dangerous" Lily explains
Pet is Lily's sister, her name is actually Petunia but Lily uses her nickname all the time.
"Does Vile Vernon know about your secret magical abilities?" I ask.
I see a smile playing on her lips at the name "Vile Vernon"
"Heavens no I think he'd have an aneurism" Lily laughs
"Sounds like you should inform him as soon as possible it might do us all a favour" I remark and she smirks
"I wish" she states but then she sighs "But he makes Pet happy. I've not seen her smile so much since we were small. He made her laugh and smile and he made her feel special. If he can do that for her I can put up with the precautions my parents put in place for his convenience" Lily adds as she gets off of me to redress.
i stand up and in the middle of buttoning my jeans I place a kiss on the nape of her neck "you are far too kind for this world, Lily Evans" I remark
"Your flattery is most welcome, Potter" Lily replies and I shake my head, smiling.
"One day I will compliment you and you'll take it with no jokes"
"Yeah, when pigs fly"
"I could make that happen"
"Careful, James, more of that talk and your head won't fit through the door"
I roll my eyes as she laughs at me.
"I'll have you know my head is a very good size indeed" I say whilst trying, and failing, to keep a straight face. Lily laughs at me and shakes her head "You're so stupid, I love you"
Lily then freezes, as though someone had immobilized her. I also stare at her blankly, unsure of what to do or say. Did she mean to say that.
"I-I mean I love your stupidity" Lily stutters trying badly to cover her tracks.
"I-erm, I have to go, I'll see you at the feast" Lily states.
Before I can even speak she's out of the car and rushing down the corridor of the train.
Well that was a plot twist I wasn't expecting.
I head back to Remus and Sirius' car.
I peer in the window to make sure I won't walk in on anything but the coast is clear so I open the car door and slip inside.
"Merlin, James, we thought you'd fallen out a window or something, Reggie had come to speak to me and you never returned what kept you?" Asks Sirius the moment I sit down
"Oh, I er ran into Lily" I reply
Sirius smirks at me "you sly dog! Sexy time on the train? How scandalous" Sirius exclaims
"Oh shut it you, trying to tell me you and Moony haven't gotten down and dirty on the Hogwarts Express?" I ask, both their cheeks redden severely and I know I caught them red handed so I sit back with a smug smirk on my face
"Where is our lovely Lily?" Asks Remus, changing the subject
"Oh yeah she accidentally told me she loved me and then she bolted" I reply
They both gape at me "She what?" Asks Sirius
"Yeah I made a joke and she said "You're so stupid, I love you" and then we both froze and then she ran for the hills" I reply
"That is rough mate" says Sirius
"James, why do you always suffer a form of drama on the Hogwarts Express?" Asks Remus
"It's the hardship of being the main character in everyone's story" I say forlornly, looking out the window for dramatic effect
"I would throw something at you if I could right now" says Remus
"Alright but not the face, it's my best feature" I retort.
Remus leans over to me and shoves me and I give him a playful grin
