James

When Regulus leaves, I feel the full weight of what we've just done bear down on me.
Regulus has just cheated on Arlo
I think I'm fine given that Lily and I have opened our relationship, but the last thing I want to be is a home wrecker.
I know that Regulus said no one has to know, but I can feel the guilt almost drowning me.
I shake my head and leave the classroom, heading back to the Gryffindor Common Room.
No one in the group is in the Common Room, so I head to Lily's room to see if she's alright and just have some one on one time with her. We always seem to hang out with the boys and hardly ever get to spend time alone.
I knock on the door.
No answer.
I open the door, just to see whether she's fallen asleep so I can tuck her in and kiss her forehead.
However, when I open the door, I catch her mid-fuck with a guy with a mass of black long hair which I know for sure isn't Sirius, because first of all, Sirius has curly hair, and I'm also one hundred per cent sure Sirius is Remus-sexual so there is no chance of him hopping into bed with Lily.
Lily catches sight of me and yelps which causes the person on top of her to start and look in my direction.
No fucking way.
I stand in shock in the doorway as I see Severus Snape fucking my girlfriend.
"Holy shit" is all I can say as I stand gobsmacked.
Lily is moving quickly, shimmying out underneath Severus and grabbing her clothes
"James" she says but I'm shaking my head, inconsolable rage taking over me. Out of everyone, she chose to sleep with Severus Snape.
"Un-fucking-believable" I say before I turn and walk away
"James, please" I hear Lily call after me. But I don't stop. I continue walking up to my dorm. I open the door and slam it behind me, storming over to my bed. I kick the leg of the bed frame and sit myself down.
"Woah, Prongs, what's got your knickers in a twist?" Asks Sirius, sitting up from where he was laying on Remus' chest.
"Lily" I reply through gritted teeth.
There's suddenly a knock at the door "James, please come outside" Lily pleads
I don't answer her
"Fuck me, what has she done?" Asks Remus
"Go ask her" I reply, too angry to talk
Remus nods and stands up, heading toward the door. He opens it and I catch a glimpse of Lily, who tries to come in but Remus stops her and they stand outside to talk.
"You want to talk about it, mate?" Asks Sirius
I sigh and run my hand over my face before running it through my hair "She fucked Snape" I reply
"What?" Sirius asks incredulously
"Yesterday she suggested we open our relationship so that she could...experiment with her sexuality and I was fine with it, you know, because who am I to stop her. I never once thought that Severus Snape would be on her list of people to fuck the moment she had the chance" I explain
"Shit" Sirius replies, which is exactly how I'm feeling.
Remus re-enters the room, with Lily following him
"James, can we talk about this?" Lily asks
"You not eager to finish your shag sesh with Severus?" I ask rather cruelly
"James" Remus warns. I look over at him and sigh.
"Fine, let's stand outside and talk about it then" I say shortly before I quickly get up and stride over to the door, letting Lily walk out before me and closing the door as I step out of the room.
"Explain then" I state without looking at her
"Severus wanted to patch things up with me, he missed our friendship and he was being so nice, so kind, so gentle and, well, one thing led to another and...well you know what happened next" Lily explains and I scoff.
"Right so a bloke calls you a slur, doesn't speak to you for months, says a kind word and get's a one way ticket to your bed?" I ask
"James, no, it's not like that, I wasn't thinking about it" Lily replies frantically
"Evidently not" I state
"We opened our relationship, James" Lily points out
"Yeah, so you can explore your sexuality, if I had have known you were Snape-sexual, I would never had agreed to it"
"I promise I really did mean it when I said I wanted to open our relationship to figure things out, me sleeping with Severus wasn't planned"
I shake my head and rake a hand through my hair "Look, I have to go or I'm going to say things I regret" I say
"I'm sorry, James" Lily says, but I don't even look back in her direction as I storm off.
I'm just so angry. Why him? Out of all people, why Snape? I mull it over in my head all the way to the Astronomy Tower, because of course that's where I go.
I sit where I usually do, my feet hanging over the edge of the wall as I crane my neck to look at the stars.
As I sit here, I kind of wish that Regulus was here, he would know how to make me feel better. Maybe I shouldn't think that way.
I sit in the Astronomy Tower for what feels like a lifetime when I hear footsteps. I freeze and look over to the entryway where I expect to be found by a teacher and given a detention for being out of bed after hours. However, I see Regulus in the entryway, because of course I do, me being here seems to summon him almost every time.
"What're you doing here?" Asks Regulus
"I could ask you the same" I reply
"I asked first"
"I needed to cool off"
"Nightmare"
Regulus comes and sits next to me, he sits awfully close, but I don't mind, I like having him close by.
"You want to talk about it?" Asks Regulus, placing a hand on my leg
"I don't know. Do you want to talk about your nightmare?" I ask
"I keep having a nightmare about you being murdered" Regulus admits.
I turn to look at him "What do you mean?" I ask "you don't have to explain if you don't want to, but it may help to talk about it" I add quickly
"The nightmare usually starts the same, you and I are together in a room I've never seen before, then The Dark Lord shows up and finds us together, he always tortures you first, I can still hear your screams ringing in my ears sometimes, I always step in for you so that you can be set free, but you never are, he asks me to kill you, and obviously I can't, so he does, he kills you in front of me, and sometimes when I close my eyes I can see your body falling to the floor" Regulus explains, his voice shaky.
When he turns to look at me there are tears in his eyes and my heart breaks for him "James, don't die, please" He says before he actually lets out a small sob. I immediately engulf him into a hug, carding my fingers through his hair and placing kisses atop his head. "I'm not going anywhere, I promise" I murmur into his hair
"I'm sorry" Regulus says
"What for?" I ask
"I'm being silly" Regulus replies
I pull away from him and hold his face in my hands "Hey, you are not, don't ever apologise for your feelings" I say
Regulus leans in and kisses me, I melt into it.
"Wait" I say
"What's wrong?" Asks Regulus
"What about Arlo?" I ask
Regulus sighs and slumps down. "Fuck" Regulus curses, running a hand through his hair and then down his face, the same way I have done so many times the past hour or so.
"It's not that I don't love him I just...I don't know, maybe I'm a terrible person" Regulus continues
"Hey" I say, cupping his face in my hands once more "you are NOT a terrible person, love, we all make mistakes, we all get conflicted, we all do things we shouldn't. You're not terrible, Reg, you're human" I continue
"Fuck, James, you keep saying all of these things and it just makes me want to hold your face, kiss your lips and take off your clothes"
"You can absolutely do that"
"James"
"Right, yes, sorry"
Regulus laughs and shakes his head at me "So, you wanna talk about what's gotten you so riled up tonight?" Asks Regulus
I sigh and turn my head back to the stars as I explain the whole situation to him.
"Snape?" He asks and I nod
"Mhm. She could have chosen anyone" I reply
"Fuck"
"Mhm"
"So, what're you going to do now?"
"I don't know. I'm so angry with her right now. I feel like I should take time to calm down because I almost broke up with her on the spot"
"Do you want to break up with her?"
"I don't know, now I do because I'm angry, but I know if I do I'll regret it, which tells me that no I don't want to break up with her"
"Maybe you two need to set rules and boundaries for your open relationship"
"Maybe you're right"
"I always am"
I smirk and turn my attention back to him "I miss you" I admit
"I'm right here" Regulus replies
"No, I mean I miss you, I miss us"
"I know, I do too"
"You do?"
Regulus nods and runs a hand through his hair again "Fuck it" he says and he leans in and kisses me. I kiss him back and move us away from the edge of the Tower. I lay Regulus down as I kiss him and manage to straddle him. I deepen the kiss and press my hips down onto his, he lifts his up to meet mine. I groan against his lips as I grind my hips against his.
"James, please" he moans
"Please what, baby? Use your words, love" I coo
"Just don't stop" He begs
"Wouldn't dream of it" I reply and I kiss him once more, continuing to grind my hips against his
"Wait, stop" Regulus says.
Immediately I stop, because when someone tells you to stop, you stop.
"Is everything okay?" I ask
"Fuck, I don't know, I want this so bad, I want you so bad, but I feel awful" Regulus replies
"I can make you feel good, baby" I reply but then realise that now is not an appropriate time for flirting "I'm sorry, I take an opportunity when I see it, my brain doesn't always register when it's the right time" I add hastily
Regulus giggles and shakes his head "no that's okay, love, I appreciate it" Regulus replies
"Oh, you do?" I ask, quirking a brow
"You always know how to make me feel better" Regulus admits
"In more ways than one" I reply, winking
"How about you show me" Regulus states
I smirk and dip my head in for a kiss, but instead of grinding my hips, I snake my hand down his body until I reach his crotch, gripping him through his trousers which causes him to whimper and fuck. I begin to rub my hand up and down which causes him to buck his hips.
I slide my hand down into his trousers and continue to rub him and he strings moans and curses together. Eventually he finishes and kisses me passionately
"What about you?" Asks Regulus
"I just wanted to make you feel good tonight, baby" I reply and he kisses me again
"I should go now, love" I say
"Yeah, go get some sleep" Regulus replies
"Are you going to get some sleep?" I ask
"Probably not" Regulus replies
I fish around in my pocket and pull out a vial "Here's some dreamless sleep, I have some on me usually just in case, usually for Sirius, maybe myself, but you should get some sleep" I explain
"Thank you" Regulus replies
"All I require in return is a kiss" I say
Regulus smiles and leans in "that I can accommodate for" Regulus replies, kissing me before walking off.

So plot twist I guess...Idk guys, personally I think Lily and Snape shagged at least once, just a conspiracy theory of mine but it also adds drama to the fic, and we all love a bit of drama...at least I do.
