I wake up next to James and I find myself smiling.
I kiss his forehead "Good Morning, Baby" I say with a smile.
He smiles and stretches "Morning" he replies sleepily. "What time is it?" Asks James
"Eight" I reply
"I need to have a shower" James states
"I have a shower"
"I didn't bring clean clothes"
"So does that mean you have to go back?"
He nods and I pout "You can join me in the shower if you want" James suggests
"Are you serious?" I ask
"So close! I'm James"
I stare at him, completely unimpressed while he laughs at his own joke.
"You're not funny" I comment
"On the contrary, Regulus, I find myself terribly amusing" James replies with a grin "So, shower with me?" Asks James
"Alright then" I reply.
James looks at me smugly as we get ready to leave. We get to Gryffindor Tower in around ten minutes and when we get to James' dorm we find it empty
"The others must have gone down for breakfast" James points out
"That works out well for us" I reply
"Indeed it does" James smirks as he walks into his bathroom and I follow.
He turns on the shower and takes his shirt off, helping me take off mine before kissing me.
As he kisses me we both remove our remaining clothes and hop into the shower.
The water is warm, it's a nice sensation, the feeling of the running water falling down my back.
James at first grabs his bar of soap, he runs it over his own body before he then rubs it along mine.
There's something so sensual, so intimate, about this experience. As James runs the soap across my body he leans in for a kiss, it's a wet one, the both of us catching warm water in our mouths, but neither of us seeming to care.
James places the bar of soap down and runs his hands over my body, washing off the soap suds. His hand then roams further down my stomach until he then wraps his hand around my shaft. I gasp and he kisses me before he grips me and moves his hand, causing me to moan into his kiss and buck his hips.
"James" we hear someone that I fear for my life is Sirius. James immediately takes his hand away which is deeply upsetting for me, but I can hardly react because James holds a hand over my mouth to prevent me from making any sort of noise.
"Sirius?" Asks James
"Yeah, can I come in?" Asks Sirius
"No, I'm naked" James replies immediately
"Come on, Prongs, it's not something I haven't already seen" Sirius says
"I know, Pads, but I-" James can't seem to come up with anything
"Stop being a baby" Sirius says
Moments later, the shower curtain is pulled to the side, revealing both James and I
"Holy mother of shit" Sirius curses, holding his hands up to his eyes
"I told you not to come in!" Jams exclaims defensively
"You failed to mention my very naked baby brother in your shower with you" Sirius argues
"I thought I didn't have to" James replies
"Are you serious?" Asks Sirius
"No, you are" James replies with a grin
"I would hit you but I can't risk taking my hand away from my eyes" Sirius states
"Didn't you have something you needed me for?" Asks James
"Get my brother out of your shower, get dressed and then I'll talk to you" Sirius replies sternly before turning and walking off.
Once Sirius is gone, James and I exchange a look before we burst out laughing.
"Sirius has seen you naked?" I ask
"Yep, and I've seen him naked, we have shower chats quite often, actually" James replies
"You two are so weird" I state, rolling my eyes with a smile
"Hey! Don't knock us because you're jealous" James replies defensively. I laugh and shake my head, pointing my wand to myself and drying myself off before I start to get my clothes on.
"Sirius needs to stop cock blocking me" James says forlornly
"Mhm, if you could mention that, that would be great, shower sex was sounding like a great start to my morning" I reply. I then kiss James and bid my goodbye before walking out of my bathroom, rushing out of his dorm and out of Gryffindor Tower.
I have about fifteen minutes for breakfast so I do a pit stop to the Great Hall, grab some toast and a napkin before heading upstairs for my charms lesson.
I take a seat next to Evan and Barty.
"Hey, Reg" they both say
"Hey guys" I reply
"Wanna join us in the library after classes later?" Asks Evan
"Sure, I'll join in, I've got some homework to get done anyway" I reply
"Is it the transfiguration homework?" Asks Barty
I nod and grimace and he grins "I haven't done it either, so you can help me out" Barty states
"I'm so glad you offer my services to yourself" I say
"I know, I'm too kind" Barty replies, causing me to roll my eyes.
"Good Morning, class" Professor Flitwick greets in his slightly squeaky voice, interrupting and ending our conversation "This morning we will be practicing both the 'engorgio' and 'reducio' charms as they usually come hand in hand, so it is useful to learn both at the same time. For the 'engorgio' charm, you simply point your wand at the desired object and say the spell, for 'reducio' you flick your wand to the left, flick it up and bring it back down as you cast the spell. To practice, you each have a small cushion in front of you, I want you to enlarge the cushion and then return it to its original size" Professor Flitwick explains.
I stare at the small blue cushion in front of me. I point my wand to it "engorgio" I state, the cushion rips and the stuffing pops out of it. I stuff it back in and mend the cushion with my wand.
I try a few more times before I'm successful with engorgio and I then move on to reducio, which takes me a bit longer to master.
At the end of the day, I head back to the common room, going to my dorm to grab some text books for homework before I meet Evan and Barty in the library.
However, when I get to my dorm, I realise that I may not make it to the library, because when I walk into my dorm room, I see Arlo and James, except James is bloodied and beaten, and had his hands tied behind him to one of my bed posts.
"What the fuck?" I ask as I close the door behind me
"Your boyfriend here puts up quite the fight" Arlo replies
"James, are you okay?" I ask, going to kneel down in front of him but Arlo stops me by standing in front of me
"Get out of my way" I say
"You don't get to help him until after I've said what I want" Arlo states firmly. I look over at James "I could always torture him until you comply with me" Arlo adds
"Fine, what do you want?" I ask
"First of all, don't take that fucking tone with me" Arlo replies
"Sorry, I can't help it, I find you insufferable" I deadpan
Arlo turns before I can even blink, pointing his wand at James "Crucio" Arlo states, I don't even think, I jump in front of the curse and it hits me at full force and I start screaming and writhing on the floor as unexplainable pain courses through my body.
"Regulus!" I hear James shout, but I can't respond, the pain is too great for me to be able to form coherent thoughts.
The pain stops.
"Ready to listen?" Asks Arlo
"Yes" I reply shakily, unable to sit up yet.
"You see, I'm tired of you running to your brother and your lover boy every time I so much as breathe in your direction. So here's the deal, if you're upset with me, you deal with it alone, or you don't deal with it at all, because if I get punched in the face one more time by lover boy here, I won't hesitate to use the same spell I was supposed to use on him moments ago had you not intervened. Do you understand?" Asks Arlo. I nod, he kneels down and pulls me up which makes me want to throw up
"I said, do you understand?" Arlo repeats
"I understand" I reply weakly
"Good" he states before throwing me back onto the ground, I groan when I hit the floor. I watch Arlo walk out of the room and the moment he's gone, I double over and throw up.
"Scrougify" I point my wand to the vomit on the floor and it disappears. I then turn to James "Baby, I'm so sorry, are you okay?" I ask
James goes to answer, but he can't say anything, I then realise that Arlo but a silencing charm on him, which I then lift.
"I'm fine, Reg" James replies
"Don't bullshit me" I state, untying his hands, the moment his hands are free he wraps them around me
"You scared the shit out of me, don't you ever jump in front of a curse for me like that again, you hear me?" James says sternly, but he's also crying, which breaks my heart
"I couldn't stand there and let you take it, James, I couldn't watch you go through that" I admit, a lump forming in my throat as I say it
"I couldn't  bare to see you in that pain, baby, please don't do that to me again" James says. I hold his face in my hands and swipe my thumb across his cheeks to wipe away his tears before I peck him on the lips.
"I didn't mean to upset you, baby, I'm sorry" I say, kissing his forehead "I'm going to clean you up okay, baby?" I say softly, he nods and I stand up, walking to my bathroom to fill a bowl with warm water and I grab a cloth.
I walk back into the room, set the bowl on the floor before I kneel down in front of him, I dip the cloth in the bowl, I wring out the cloth and place it first to his forehead where he has a cut there. He also has a bloody nose and a split lip.
"I'm so sorry, baby, what happened?" I ask
"I was walking out of the library, he walked over to me, threw me up against a wall and I tried to get away, he punched me in the nose, I manage to swipe my legs at his knees, causing his knees to buckle and his grip to loosen, so I pushed him away but he got another punch in, my forehead nicked a doorframe which is how I got the cut on my forehead, I punched him back and he got the last blow to my lip. I passed out and woke up in here, you showed up not long after" James explains
"Fuck, this is my fault, I'm so sorry" I reply
"How is this your fault?" Asks James
"I can't say without telling you part of one of my missions" I reply
"You don't have to say if you don't want to" James states
"Just don't tell anyone, but I've been working on my occlumency skills with Dumbledore, the other day he got Arlo to be the legillimens for the session, which is why I asked if you'd spoken to Dumbledore, when he invaded my mind, I may have purposefully shown him a happy memory of us, which pissed him off, since then he's been trying to get his revenge" I explain
"Well shit"
"Yeah. I'm so sorry I've roped you into this"
"Hey, it's not your fault, baby, we're in this together okay?"
"I love you"
"I love you too"
After I finish cleaning his wounds we move up to my bed where I hold him in my arms for what feels like forever, until we finally decide to head down to the Great Hall for dinner.

Hello there my lovelies!

Firstly, the beginning shower scene is an idea suggested to me by @simp_4_reggie so we have them to thank for that brilliant scene!
Okay so we have angst...because of course we do. We are finally seeing Arlo in full villain mode, I have been waiting for this tbh!! Everytime I saw a comment saying people love Arlo I was just kinda like "side eye" because I knew full well he was not a good man, I just needed time to build it up and finally show you.
Also, the way they take care of each other is so cute like??? And Reggie taking the cruciatus for James, he is so in love I'm unwell (I wrote it)
