"Ready?" Hershel questioned me as I gripped the lock in my hand, I nodded my head and hastily pulled the lock off of the gate. The bright blaring sun shined down on us aggressively, sweat already dripping from my greasy hairline.

Rick, Maggie, Glenn, Daryl, and T-Dog went in before me, stabbing walkers in the head with a grunt, I quickly followed after them, pulling my machete from my sheath.

I took a few steps, planting my feet on the ground before stabbing the first walker that appeared in front of me, I let out a grunt as I pushed the limp body away. Behind me I could hear the fence screech closed and relock, I shook my head to try and not distract myself from the main problem.

"Nola, c'mon!" Glenn yelled to me, I turned my head to see the group huddled into a circle, each of them fighting off walkers skillfully. I followed after the group, stabbing any walkers in my way before joining the circle that we had planned to create before we walked through the gate.

I let out a frustrated scream as I slashed a walker in front of me, its blood splattering my body. The circle began to disperse as more walkers appeared, I removed myself from the group, attacking the rotting corpses as soon as they entered my eyesight.

Behind me, I could hear the rest of the group banging on the fences trying to catch any stray walker's attention, which worked slightly. Without wanting to distract myself I let out an annoyed huff and shook my head, hating that I was getting lost in my thoughts all of a sudden when I'd been preparing myself all night for this moment.

I turned back towards the walkers ahead of me, my feet quick as I kicked them to the floor, stabbing my knife right in their eye. Behind me, I could hear yells going around, but not wanting to distract myself, I didn't pay much attention.

My body was coated in red, walker blood soaking my body and more only splashing on me as I aggressively killed more of the rotting corpses.

Suddenly my knees slightly buckled below me as I felt the hand of a walker grip my ankle from behind me, I let out a loud gasp in surprise, my body turning to find the mysterious walker.

Behind me was a walker I was sure I had killed minutes ago, its body growling loudly as it tightly gripped onto my foot. Without hesitation I swung my body around, my other foot stomping on the walker's skull relentlessly and repeatedly, showing the corpse no mercy.

My vision and my hearing faded away as I continued to bash the walker's head in, loud and heavy breaths escaping me as I watched the walker's head turn into mush, my boot coated in crimson blood.
